Now, Trill's home wasn't the greatest, far from it, but at least hands didn't come out of the ground. He was getting pretty frustrated with having no explanation of any of this, and stood at the ready for anything else.

Carefully, he picked up the knife. While it didn't explain how she got there, and stood up, the important part was that he had a manageable weapon now. He looked around, expecting something to happen but not sure what.

Trill was going to feel bad doing what he planned on doing, but now felt even worse as he delivered another blow.

Finally, about time something happened. He was almost getting tired of waiting. While Trill had no idea how to shoot the gun, he decided to see if a plan of running up, picking up the gun and bashing in the android's face with it could work. He had done some things similar in his hometown, though not on this scale, and hoped it would work the same.
