Roleplaying involves a commitment to others. And if you cannot keep that commitment I'd ask you to be honest with youself and just say so. It's by far the least painful way of leaving an rp.

Alright, so, as my first act as GM. I hereby declare the lands of those that have never posted up until now as being uninhabited wasteland free for those still active to claim. If anyone feels like not seeing their nation being claimed, they can avert this fate by making an IC post. Easy as pie really.
It would appear it is.
@Willy Verebnot sure if this came through but I volunteer to take the torch of GM.

not me!
@NatsucooldudeAlso I was partially joking. It'd be hard to tell who the strongest faction is. I just know Thangoradrim is not to be trifled with Militarily. However, West Sea Alliance might work. We could try to focus upon what we have in common at least. For example, all of us seem to be a unit of clans/groups. We could be the Alliance of Confederate States, or the Iron Alliance, since Thangoradrim and the Blacklands have much Iron, and our Kashar allies have an iron will to match.

Iron alliance seems pretty good to me. hell, we can even have a slogan like "lands of iron, men of iron, wills of iron" (I don't do slogans well)

Are we looking at a time jump then? If so, I'll start a write up for where the Electorate is at now.

I mean, I would be all for ending the festival arc with the ratification of the alliance and jumping forward.
@NatsucooldudeWell then you understand wrong

so then what do you suppose we call it? I remember me suggesting something like the west sea alliance.
@POOHEAD189from what I understand, I seem to be the strongest member of the alliance, so yeah, I guess it'd be reasonable for the alliance to be named after me.
@Natsucooldude

The damned apprentice

Yeah, I wrote her in to provide the perspective of a naive and wide-eyed idealist.

edit
<Snipped quote by RisenDead>I actually did recently.
Both Shorticus and GoldEagle are missing almost ever since the IC started up. I am up for any suggestions who should be the GM.
Also speaking of which my GM position from the get go was strictly organizational because I knew I am unlikely to be active. It's just my luck that two decent choices turned out to be not so optimal in the end.

may I nominate myself?
Name: Eòghain Faughn
Appearance: As a particularly powerful fey, Eòghain is a shapeshifter capable of changings his form as easily as a mortal would breathe. In his true form however, he is an immaculate male with long blonde hair, a lithe body and piercing green eyes. These eyes are the only thing that stays the same regardless of the form he takes. His clothes change as fluidly as his body, but they are usually in muted green colors accentuated by bright purple. The heraldic color of the hedge king.

Personality: Eòghain is a cynical and jaded indivdual tempered by eons of existence. In ages long past, he was a very motivated and somewhat naive servant of the hedge king, such has changed for the worse however, and he slides deeper into the ennui of his existence with every world he sees fall. Indeed, sometimes he wonders whether his existence even matters anymore, or whether he's just another cog in the unstoppable dance of fate.
The world is coming to an end. The men of the south and the dwarves of the north have descended into petty squabbling, ignorant of the real threat. The elves in the west have began an exodus and in the east, the armies of darkness are gathering to wipe the world bare. Both have done this same song and dance innumerable times before, and neither know why any of it happens anymore.

In these days that mark the end of days, two important figures in the coming times enter the scene. One a courtier of the enigmatic hedge king, sent on the same quest he has completed too many times before, and the other a once-mortal woman. Struggling to resist the call to action of the same darkness that twisted her into what she is now.

(I suggest we start out with an establishing post, describing respectively the courtier arriving in the world of mortals and the vampire maybe describing how her hunger has grown uncontrollable lately despite her best efforts to sate it? this can be something else. Just something that portends that the darkness is growing stronger in the world.)
