"So... Tired... So hungry... So-Achoo! Much pollen..." Lyra was absolutely miserable. She had intended to reach the town four days earlier. She would have likely been able to travel unaffected by the pollen that spring provides. But she got lost in the woods. Little did she know she was going around in circles and the town was literally a mile away. She was forced to spend four more nights out in the woods. She also ran out of her food rations the second day she was out. All she managed to find were a few berries. (After she picked the only bush clean, she kept walking in circles to see the same bush, but empty.) But at long last. Civilization in the form of a rundown farm.

She walked into town. No matter how blurry her vision was from her allergies, and lack of sleep, she could always spot the inn. Slowly, she crept through town, bag slung on one shoulder, lute slung over the other. Her heap was pounding, what with hunger, fatigue, and allergies. It was almost surprising she was walking. She kept up. "One step... One step... One... no wait, that's not right... How many have I taken?... Uuuuuugh." Now standing in front of the door of the inn, she had only one more job. "Raise your hand onto..." As soon as she lifted it, it flopped down again. "Stupid lute and bags, cutting my circulation in my arms!... Ow, ow, too loud..."

Finally her arm stayed in place, and she somehow mustered the strength to turn the knob and open the door. After the door swung open, it became apparent where the strength came from as she fell face first into the floor of the inn with a painful sounding smack. She didn't say anything for a while, but soon reached into her bag and pulled out a small sack, without moving anything else. "Excuse me? I will gladly give you everything in this bag for some food and plenty of pain killers..." Too bad the bag only had a little money.
Name: Lyra Alexander

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Appearance: No one will be able to see the dirt. hehehe...

Birth Day: Fall 28th

Role: Drifter, Odd-Jobs(Ish)

Personality: "Don't worry sir! I'll pay off the food you lent me!... In a little." Lyra is a woman of her word. She will do exactly what she says she will, provided you give her the time. However by the time that one actually likely have forgotten what it is she was paying off. Because of this, she calls herself a 'Drifter' but she can easily spend several month at a time in a single town. Often she just lazes about playing music on her lute. At night she will spend time in any bar she can, and she doesn't mind pounding back a few... or more. Basically, to sum up she is, lazy, care free, playful, and honest.

  • Story: Lyra was the daughter of an Inn Keeper in a town similar to Mineral Town, but far away. She saw many people come and go, and heard all kinds of tales. As she grew up she took up the lute to entertain the customers that came. They would swap songs for stories and vice versa. She heard amazing tales about towns all over the world. She heard one about a town that was established by a group of people who's ship sank and they landed on an island, and another of a town where they held an amazing market every week. Her personal favorite was about two towns connected by a tunnel that would meet at the top of the hill every week to see who's town had the most accomplished chefs. These stories became her insparation.

And so, when she turned 16 her father allowed her to set off on her own. Of course this took much persuading. She has traveled to only eight towns in her five years of travel. This is due to her sense of obligation, and laziness. When she first arrived at the first town, she didn't realize she had lost her wallet, so when she came to the inn to eat, she had nothing to pay with. She promised to pay back the inn keeper, and spent a good four months in the town before she finally left. She had paid off the inn keeper long ago, but she needed more money. The fourth town she visited was an outstanding nine months! This is largely due to her breaking her leg while paying off the damages to a window in the town. After it healed, she had to part with most of the money she had at the time. Never the less her spirits remained high, and she continued on her adventure.

    Salutations!
Me and Devi date back to like 7 months before the guild was erased. We were in a Dangan Ronpa RP then, and one of my characters was the SHSL LARPer, who was a Paladin, on the verge of a mental breakdown. I also had a huge douchebag, who was far douchier the first time... I miss the old Yuuto... In any case, Thats cool. I wasn't expecting much, but Let me know if anything opens up... Through means other than murder of course
I saw devi and was like

    "...Well Shit..."

And then immediately sent him that exact message in PM, and began thinking about it some and decided if at all possible I'd like to join. I have an abundance of characters in stock as well as some other options... Unfortunately my LARPer is out due to the Chuunibyou... Well now to the point, is there room for one(or three)more
Now I must say this now seeing as how Fate/Kaleid Linear Prisma Ilya is now a thing, but that is not the Fate series, actually. I know many will probably know that, but best to clear it up now.

Now A quick explanation of what this will be.

The Holy Grail War is Kill-or-be-Killed battle between seven Magi chosen by the Holy Grail, a mystical object which can only be owned by one to grant its owner one wish, to be Masters. These Masters fight for ownership of the Grail. However the Masters are not alone in this fight. Each Master is given a Servant by the Grail. These servants must be summoned by the Master. The Grail does the rest. There is one servant from a set class. These classes are:

Saber - Knight of the Sword

Lancer - Knight of the Spear

    Archer- Knight of the Bow

    Rider - The Mounted Knight

    Caster- The Magus

    Assassin - The Silent Killer

    Berserker - The Mad Warrior

Each Master summons one Heroic Spirit to be their Servants. Heroic Spirits are Heroes(or Villains) of Legend. It matters not if they actually existed, but that their are those who believed they have. The more well known the spirit, the more powerful the Servant. However, a Servant, no matter how powerful, will be at a great disadvantage if their enemy discovers their identity. If one know a Servants identity, they know their strengths and weaknesses. Even knowing the name of their weapon can lead to the discovery of a Servants Identity.

A Heroic Spirit is a being of legend. These legendary beings always have something in common: they all have a weapon equally as legendary. These are known as their Noble Phantasm. They are activated by their names. Normally a Noble Phantasm is a weapon. However, they are not limited to just that. They can be armor, a tome, an amulet. They do not even necessarily need to be a physical object. However, a Noble Phantasm is always connected to the Heroic Spirit as the weapon they used in their life time.
For those unfamiliar to the series, you will most likely not understand it all, so feel free to ask. Whats more is I have a Discussion Thread on possible ways to run this rp out, as it wont be the easiest to run. I will likely touch more on the explanation of Magi and the importance of Magi Families later, but it isn't a required part of this rp.

Ooooooooh, theres already one. Aw well! I shall leave this here and see what happens.
    Interested
So I have recently taken up the Immense task of 100% completing Fate/Stay Night. I have already seen Fate/Zero, so I am at least adequately knowledgeable about the Holy Grail wars. As such I thought it would be awesome to make one of my own here. However I have some major problems staring me in the face.

(Note Spoilers are for the identity and name of the weapons of Servants in the Fate series.)

I want to keep everyone's Servant's identity a secret, even from myself as I plan to partake. However the problem lies in the possibility of Noble Phantasms being far to strong... This may be a concern, but I can see it being no problem as well, considering noble Phantasms are outright ridiculous. I mean for god's sake
Soooo, maybe that is a minor fear.

This is just an effect I'd love to add in. Not having other characters know exactly where the others are. if this were to be added, it be more like a massive mystery game than an RP, but still Id be cool, so I shall leave it at that. If anyone has anything to say about that just say so. (Also since the noble Phantasm would give away the servants name, In the event that they use it, send it as a pm to the one(s) who are present to see it happening.

Now the biggest problem I see is in the killing of characters. Obviously characters are going to die in a Grail war. I'd love to have to not use a complex dice and stat system if I can. If possible the "status" system from Fate/Stay Night would be optimal. Now when it comes to fighting, obviously it is important to have these stats mean something. It is also Important that a High Level Noble Phantasm on a lower level servant could potentially kill a High Ranking Servant.

As awesome of a premise as the Fate Series is, I can imagine it being very difficult to do in a roleplay setting. With that said, if anyone would like to give their thoughts, or want to help out please just post below. And if you'd like to help, but have no idea what in the world the Fate series is, just say so and I shall pm you a more detailed description to explain.

    Now... Let the brainstorming begin!
Hey Guild. Its been a while. I left when it died the last time. I used to be heirofmind, but have since become a mammal that is a saint. I am here to give the guild a chance again.
