Current Sick of joining roleplays only to have them die. I hate investing my time and energy into something for nothing. Seriously making me want to give up on roleplayer guild.

The door opened and Oz peeked through to see Geode. "I'm here." He announced. The Fist strolled up toward Geode and leaned his arm against the wall. "What's on your mind?" Geode knew a great deal and Oswald was quite aware of the fact so this question was asked in earnest.
"I realized after that attack that I could have done just the opposite and completely negated his attack. Unfortunately in the heat of the moment I wasn't thinking far enough ahead. I should have expected it to happen." Oz responded to the remark. He knew exactly what mistake was being referenced and didn't have the dumb pride to try fighting for it as anything but a fool's error. "Next time an attack like that occurs I'll try deflecting it without putting myself and the rest in danger. To think if that was one of Ada's weird attacks it could have cost us everything. Note: Don't spread an enemy's element on the area you fight."

Oz turned to face Jenso. If that was a fight at full strength it would have been far more taxing than it had been but the man seemed alright now. "I get the feeling that the three of us are best suited toward differing roles in a fight but we weren't quite fulfilling that the way we should have been. Jenso, Jeff, I'd say think about what you would do if you put yourself in a different fighting position. You guys were great with your offensive power but the biggest thing I think Luke and Mikey would chastise you on is that you telegraph everything you do. You're an open book, easy to read and if you keep up the same tactic for too long without succeeding then you become predictable. Admittedly I'm in the same boat in a lot of cases. I'm not as fast as you guys so I'm forced to rely on blocking and deflecting attacks to keep up with more hostile, quick opponents. If something is currently beyond you, think of what you already have and how you can creatively use it." The people gathered together already had great power, they just needed to master what they had and make one more hurdle. "Zelriane, as an example to you Jeff, is insanely fast. He makes himself completely unpredictable. He gets in close, stays at range, avoids everything. At some point in fighting him you realize he's trying to make himself unhittable so that he can wittle his opponent down. You don't know what he's going to do so he always has the element on his side. In a fight like we had with Mikey I'd say don't be as eager to press attacks like Jenso who has always been focused on forward attacks. You need to flow and be free to act like the element that is your namesake. It's everywhere at once but its true danger doesn't make itself apparent until it's too late to act. You make yourself an annoyance, you could be offensive but never trade defense for offense even if it looks like the opportunity is open. When you fought me you did very well at keeping your distance, even countering my efforts to control you. Play keep away and when the enemy focuses on another then you strike. It will keep them forced on the defensive and open to a real attack from Jenso or another heavy hitter." He commented.

"As for Jenso.. in this case you should be less like your own element." Oz smiled. The idea was entertaining. "Fire is aggressive. And predictable. Yet while it is predictable its power is constant and reliable. You do indeed make the best forward strike. The thing is that our enemies also know that. What would be more surprising? Jenso rushing forward with his signature punch or standing back and preparing for something that the enemy is unfamiliar with? Don't be like a forest fire bro, you'll run out of wood to burn pressing forward that hard. Think of yourself as a directable furnace, a well of concentrated fire rather than a wild one. Here's an example, if you press forward against an opponent that dodges or forces all your attacks into glancing hits then it would be time to change up. Instead of forcing yourself on them make your own opportunity to open them up. Maybe feign attacks at them with the expectation that they'll dodge just so you can keep them on edge and fill the combat area with your own element. Then, if you have that kind of control you can use the fire already burning on the arena as an uncounterable ally. It's your element just think ahead when you get the time." He concluded the thought for Jenso.

"Now that I've lectured you two I think it's proper and fair to share what I've been thinking about. The Order's tower will likely have no space for me to use my strongest abilities so I've been working hard to overcome that. Atlas as you can imagine is a huge depiction of power. To fit that in a hallway that may be no more than eight feet tall would be impossible so I've been working on condensing and downsizing it. It's hard as hell right now but I think it will work the way I want it to by the end of the week. I've also been working on more elaborate shapes for shields as I demonstrated with that funnel. I realized that I might be most useful as the center of attention or as a controller. He looked down for a second, Oz was one whose heart was always apparent. He looked hesitant but spoke up after a drawn moment anyways. "I can crank up gravity to dangerous, even fatal levels. I've used it to train my own body in the past. I'm not much of a killer though so I've never tried to crush something to death. The thought of doing so has definitely occurred to me but it is abhorrent." He looked at the expressions of his companions carefully. "Still, this is war for the fate of the entire world. I will have to reckon with such actions later. We share the combined responsibility over the lives of all people in our fight. We can't hold any tactic or idea back. Failing this there will never BE anything ever again here."
Oz finally took the opportunity that he'd been looking for. Mikey's technique had ended and he was in the middle of recovering from his spin. Time for some topsy-turvy. He pressed the orb of energy forward and it dissipated from his hand. It wouldn't take a very acute individual to sense the sudden change in the room as up became down and down became up in Mikey's immediate vicinity. It would give Jenso's attack a chance to hit yet potentially throw the other two off as well what with them being in the area of effect. Hopefully it would be worth it to land this direct shot.

For the sake of this battle's balance this would be a one-time deal so it was ideal to take advantage of it. Oz used one last trick, twisting his hand through the air and conjuring an acceleration gate near Jenso and Jeff lined up with where Mikey was falling. Falling up? Gliding? Whatever it was.
It felt to Oz as if he were wading through mud. He nevertheless erected his shield. The blast wave wove around him like a rock standing against a tide. This kind of fight made it difficult to fight against a single opponent without tripping up your allies in the process. Oz stood back, the orb of energy still cradled in his hand. For now he would look on and wait for a better opening.
Oz braced himself against the wall and caught the stream with a shield shaped like a funnel and pipe, redirecting it straight up to the top of the dome and splashing a fine mist across the area. He was tempted to reflect it back but the potential that Mikey could just move it again at one of his allies seemed too high to bother with. Their most effective attack thus far was the wind-augmented flamesaw. They need to do something like that again. Time to close the gap and give them the opportunity.

Oz started by running toward Mikey, wary not to do so in a straight line and risk getting hit head-on by water again. He clearly had Mikey's attention. The man seemed less concerned with the other two as he was with getting pinned or controlled by Oz. Which was good. Oz started charging a small amount of energy in his right hand and made a big show of putting it forward before hiding it behind him. It was just enough to look like it would be trouble and he would definitely wait to use it. He kept up his run, strafing around the field to limit direct hits.
Mikey was on the move again. Jenso and Jeff's combo attack made good work of the bubble. Hopefully this last one would seal the deal for them. Three small glyphs circled around the shaft of Oz's spear just before he threw it. Instead of doing the most predictable thing it was directed at the ground just short of Mikey.

"Anchor." He stated. As it struck the ground the gravity would spike in the area for a few moments. A sudden increase in gravity meant Mikey would be thrown out of whack with significantly less effective jumping and slowed movement to give the other two an opportunity to pull something. Unfortunately it also meant they would be affected as they drew closer. A double-edged blade but it gave numbers a better chance.
Mikey used his notorious bubble but went up instead of away. The bubble launched a stream of water straight at Oz. Hydro power was known for cutting through mountains and making man-made valleys. Used by a person with superhuman abilities that wasn't something to scoff at. He raised his arms up, ready to use an angled force wall to deflect the water to the side instead of taking it full on when the single ruling thought hit him. Twenty-percent. Only a fifth of his power should be used. He limited the size and the water splashed around him regardless, knocking him off his feet and sending him sliding to the edge of the field.

Oz sputtered water free of his mouth and wiped it away from his face. Though he managed to defend himself from the water he was scratched up from the push across the ground. Plus now he was wet. Fighting in wet shoes is just as squishy and obnoxious as it gets. He wiped more water off his arms. "I kind of suck at holding back don't I?" He asked himself.

Bubbles were a strange thing. A liquid encasing a gas with nothing more than surface tension keeping it together. Mikey's bubbles were made of tougher stuff of course but Oz had a hunch it would function similarly. It might block a ton of damage but was likely to float about just as carelessly. A totally defensive skill. He had likely just given up nearly all his mobility to block attacks. And attacking from it must open it up to a counter given proper timing. How else could you shoot water from a bubble unless you messed with its surface tension? Oz raised his hand over the floor and a pillar of energy rose out of it to meet his grasp. He drew it back like a javelin but did not throw immediately. He waited so he could time it with Mikey's next jet of water.
Oz watched the other two zip around and try their hands at landing a telling blow on Mikey. He assumed that very soon Luke might stop the fight but perhaps there was more he could do before all of this was done. Oz walked toward the center of the platform and knelt upon one knee. There was very little risk of him being Mikey's next target with everything the other two were doing to impede him. That considered, it was time to stand back and plan for the further parts of the fight. Mikey wasn't so far being aggressive. He was making himself defensive and distant from harm when possible. That meant he would likely go flying across the stage of their fight given another chance. "Right.. let's do this." Oz muttered under his breath.

The Fist of Kario placed a palm against the ground. Two thin veins of energy spread across the platform to form a cone, effectively separating that portion of the platform into a quadrant. They were difficult to see but not totally imperceptible. He would activate a force wall for Mikey to run into depending on what direction he went if he tried to leave the quadrant.
Oz leaned into the attacks, his personal shield shimmering as each bullet hit. Regardless each bullet staggered him, pushing him slightly back. He had no opportunity to drive the attack against Mikey but he was going to help regardless. Still bracing with one arm he extended the other toward Jeff and twisted it through the air. A glowing circle of spinning glyphs appeared in front of him. Oz's acceleration gate. "Throw an attack through it Jeff, give it volume so he can't dodge." He turned his attention back to Jenso. "Jenso, keep him on the defensive." Mikey was able to snuff out voluminous attacks with his bubble. Oz had seen it being used as a test dummy before so it certainly had its place in his arsenal but what else was Mikey going to pull out.
Oz charged head-on at Mikey. "I'll test the waters. You two keep him from submerging or bubbling me." He commanded. Mikey's specialty was the resilience and flexibility of the water he used. Regardless of how flexible he would be able to function they would likely be able to overwhelm him with just their basic abilities and brawling. "Jenso, go high." He blurted out as he crouched into a leg sweep to knock Mikey down.
