Not only that but he saw he could make a profit on her in gladiator fights which is why he allowed her to keep her weapons.

Extra: She refuses to speak the names of Roman gods, not wanting to give up her culture and her beliefs.
Sorry I haven't posted recently, been busy. Now I'm not sure where to jump in with my character...
Trista sighed softly as she walked through the streets of Yggdrasil, feeling a bit weary from the job she just finished. Not having any specific job, she just worked for anyone who could pay her. Today she had to use her minor water magic abilities to find some lost treasure of a rich old faerie. It had been hard to do since the river she had to search as was fast moving and deep enough, but she did end up finding it. The pay had been well and she was happy to just be able to walk around, her wings a bit tired from the flight of Yggdrasil to that river and back again.

Hunters came out here. These words registered in Otto's head. He knew the forest better than they did, maybe he could ambush them? But these thoughts were for another time, a time better suited for planning. "Alright, thanks." He went back to thinking about something, but what was hard to tell. Joseph bent down to Otto, and the two had a conversation for a moment, whispering back and forth. Otto seemed more hesitant to whatever they were talking about, but let his friend go on. "You know, Trista, if it does get lonely out here...You're welcome to find us, and just talk for awhile, if you want. We never do much, really, so we're never busy..." It might have seemed like it was a bold move, especially since the trio had just started talking - but the two men shared an idea that you didn't need a soul bond to stick together, just an understanding among them. After all, they met under similar, albeit more desperate circumstances.

Trista was a bit surprised by the offer that the pair was willing to give her. She tilted her head to one side as she processed what he had just said to her. "Well I thank you very much for the offer, and I think I will take you up on it sometime." She replied with a wide smile. It had been so long since she really talked to others that she had almost forgotten just how kind and compassionate some people were. She imagined herself finding them one day and the ghost type trio just having a pleasant conversation. One day if she ever felt really lonely, she definitely would find them and hopefully they could make her feel better.
Okay, I can't wait for the next arc!
Oh okay, thanks for letting me know!
Trista nodded slowly and then turned her head suddenly when she heard a question come from the quiet one named Otto. She was quiet for a moment, still surprised he asked her a question. "Uh... Yeah. It's pretty quiet and peaceful most of the time out here, and I enjoy that. The only thing I can complain about is that it can get lonely." She explained, trying to think of others ways to explain what it was like to live out in the woods. "Hunters sometimes come through here but they don't usually find me since there are so many other noises, sounds and smells to cover up mine.
I posted my last one for this arc so I'm ready for the timeskip whenever you are.
Nessa watched the scene unfold from the window of the ruined infirmary. Once the worm was gone, she gazed at the northern lights that were illuminating the sky. She had never seen them before and she never imagined that the night could ever be so bright. She was one who always thought that the night and shadows were cold but with the northern lights lighting up the dark sky, she saw that they cold have a warmth sometimes. She was so tired and sore as she watched the lights, she decided to let her hair down, pulling out the turquoise ribbon, to let down her long black hair that moved gently with the breeze.
Okay :)
