I do like rpg's with intricate plots or as I affectionately call them F*** me moments.

I tend to prefer fantasy/history/mythological types of rpg's but I'm not afraid to try out something new.

Looking for someone to play Dreamweavers with

Dreamweavers.

This is for all the things that go bump in the night.

Dreamweavers is a world that I created, so here is the basic plotline idea.

It basically is the realm of your dreams/nightmares and your character is stuck in it. Naturally this will be a fantasy 1x1 rpg and you’ll have quite some input in the story.
I might make a bigger one where more people can join later, but that purely is based on how well this one progresses.

Anyway back to the storyline:
Due to a sleeping disorder you are plagued by weird dreams and fall asleep at rare intervals. Normally you would be able to wake up, but one particular night you lose that control and you become a prisoner of your own mind.
You learn there is this world inside of your mind, it is where you travel to when you enter your dreamstate. Being a Creator you were once in control, but now you find that you have lost that control.
Something or someone has made you vunerable and taken away your ability to awaken. Where once cuts or falling didn’t hurt or damaged you as much, you now find yourself in pain. Along with a guide or two you will face the difficult paths and roads that lead you through the realms of your dreamstate. Paths that you need to take in order to get to the King of Midnight & Lord of Nightmares to wrestle your control back from him/her.

The only way to escape and awake again is to face your deepest fears.

I hope you're still looking for someone to write with. My preferences lie with world building, but like you I build my stories around romance. I prefer a bit more historic setting, but I can easily do fantasy too.
I have no problem with playing either male or female and hope to get more used to the site too. So you may need to take my leash every once in a while and guide me.

Hi there,

My name is Djoke and I'm 29 years old and as you might have guessed or googled (stroopwafels), I'm Dutch.
I live in the Netherlands and have been writing and making my own worlds ever since I was 14.
I often draw or paint images for my stories and I hope to be able to let my creative juices flow again after a couple of meager writing years.
Please forgive me if I make any grammar or spelling mistakes, I do tend to check what I put down, but sometimes it just can't be helped. English is a secondary language to me after all. (Though actually it's my third...now I think about it.)
Feel free to correct me, after all that's the quickest way to learn.
Anyway if you have any questions for me I'll be happy to answer them and hopefully I'll be able to write along side of you all.
