D&D 5e: Reincarnated into Another World

Sounds fun, like the actual DND cartoon.
Getting sucked in and having to deal with whatever consequences we face. I am all for it.
I'm fine with either, though if we're going to add lore then I think a new world would be better.
And hey, if we're all chipping in bits and pieces I'll add some of my own. In the meantime, here's the intro to the old cartoon:

Do you have a char sheet with what you wish to know of the character specifically? How much free reign will you allow us concerning our specific backgrounds. Is there anything lore wise that is fixed? For example historical events, lands, appearance ect?

Yes, I think I will, with the character I currently have in mind it would definetely put me in the SWT. And yes I would like to be a crystalkeeper too.

I know I am making a posh/nobility type of character so pride would fit rather well.

Also how about the Crystals 'choose' their owners. Hence why perhaps the two crystals amongst the beast tribes switch, as it selects a keeper/holder instead of it being chosen.

Thus you therefore should assign powers after you see the characters of the people. That way you could maybe match them up better to suit the story.

*Also willing to be a keeper.
As for the beast folk, would they also have a 'humanskin' a sort of way to interact with the humans/elves through that more humanlike form?

Though I might want to tweak with how the character looks as I don't really feel the whole outfit vibe.

Maybe we can write the two teaming up to try and right a fucked up world and through it can build up the romance and relationship?

Dag'Tyr looked at I'Rajith and gestured after you. Before he looked around for a loose branch or twig on the ground.
When found he struck it against his left hand as if he was striking a match whilst he said "Lys".
The spell instantly light up the branch and he snapped it in 3 several pieces handing the other two off to the others, before making his own way down into the tomb.
He did not expect what waited below the surface for them. The stone stairway lead them down to a rather curious sight.
Was this truly a Burial Tomb?
This almost seemed like a place of worship, in a twisted sort of way.
The statues standing there silently depicting scenes of certain events. Worship? Fear? Defiance? Suffering? Dag'Tyr wasn't sure what he was looking at as he moved closer to inspect them.
The scenes they portrayed worried him, gnawed at the back of his mind. There the small voice inside told him something was dreadfully wrong here.
He looked back to his companions.
"Be careful." He could only offer as advise, before curiousity stilled his tongue once more.
He raised his stick higher up and his eyes caught sight of the doors on the other side.
4 of them.
Four potential options to take if the road back was no longer an option.
Why four? Was it connected to the statues?
He scratched the back of his head with his free hand in wonder, thinking back on his own studies.
If this was a burial mound then those that had perished and were buried here had been of some significance.
