About Me:
I started roleplaying around age 12, giving me about 11 years experience. I'm a hobby writer who makes subpar fantasy and sci-fi novels on the side and have dabbled in the world of light novels to give my drawing skills a bit of practice. I'm by no means a professional or even really a 'good' writer, but I do try my hardest. Unfortunately, I am a very busy person so I often simply don't have the time to put the level of quality revision and editing into my posts that I'd like. That said, I am committed to creating the best experience for my fellow roleplayers when I join their RPs. I am a busy person, however, so know that I may drop an RP if I become unable to devote any more significant time into it.

I mostly take part in Fantasy RPs and Nation RPs. While I enjoy romance side plots in other RPS I do, I generally don't do Romance focused RPs except on occasions. I am okay to do Romance RPs on 1x1, however, note that I usually have to be in a particular mood for these RPs so I am not always up for doing them. For this reason, when I want to do such roleplay, I seek out a partner myself. I am fine with writing mature/18+ scenes, however, I typically find them boring and uninteresting to write (sorry, I'm not much of an erotica writer). As stated above, I am LGBT and Trans friendly, so LGBT Romance subplots and RPs are totally fine by me.

In terms of characters, I'm most likely to roleplay women, as I am one, though I can roleplay any gender. I enjoy exploring the characters and fleshing them out as they grow in the setting.

I am often told that I can come off as rude, and while I like to play it up a bit and be something of a tsundere, and I am trying to work on it, but please note that I am not much of a social person, even on the online realm, and I may take a while to respond to messages or not give you a very detailed response. Feel free to message me for purposes related to the RPs we are mutually a part of, though. I love to discuss things concerning the games to give them a more interconnected and realistic feeling.

As stated above, I have dyslexia, and it can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Don't be afraid to point out mistakes in my writing, I have a tendency to misspell, and I want to be made aware if it's particularly bad. I also speak a variety of languages, and if you are interested in RPing in a language other than English, I am more than happy to do so. Check out my Langauge Competencies list to see what I am capable of using.

My interests are High Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Nation Games, Alternate History, and Video Games. I'm not crazy about Anime, but I watch a few here and there, but I'm hardly the person to go on a long discussion on Anime about (I don't really see it as much different than any other animation, sorry.), same with Manga. However, don't go all weeb on me, I'm part-Japanese sansei myself, so obsession with and fetishization of Japan and Japanese people annoys the shit out of me and if you do it I will likely have a few strong words to say to you before I block you. No, I don't care if you're also Japanese. In that case, you're not a weeb, you're just a dime-a-dozen nationalist and that's even worse in my eyes.

Anyway, I hope to have some enjoyable RPs with you all. Let's have some fun.

Guess I better arm Pakistan to make them into an unofficial march as I am with Kazakhstan
<Snipped quote by DudeTheRabbit>That could be due to me converting the picture to jpg and it distorting the colors a bit. PS can have "sensitivity" to deal with even colors that are only close to that range but Paint does it directly.
yeah, I just tested the method with Paint leaves behind noise.
Oh well, I do have the original. May as well try to conserve its format and hope the coloring issue won't be there.

Yeah, when you save edits, be sure to save as a PNG, it keeps Jpeg artifacts and such noise appearing
Neo Byzantines: As if a ghost from the past, a new Byzantine Empire has risen at the same time that Iran has risen to power once again. Knowing the history that these two nations have, Iran remains on high alert with Byzantium, hoping to delay the inevitable war between them as much as possible.

Byelorusian Empire: No significant opinion

Russia: Iran watches Russia for any movement they make in the Central Asia region. However, with Kazakhstan as a buffer, Russia is of little consequence for Iran at the moment. The two have been less than friendly due to the large influx of Islamic terrorist groups fleeing to avoid being sent to death camps in the Hindu Kush mountains created to purge Iran of terror groups in its territories.

Neo Hungaria: Iran looks to Hungary as a potential ally in the Balkan, to help in keeping the Byzantines in check. Iran is working on cultivating amicable relations with Neo-Hungaria.

Patriots: Iran is critical of the Fascist policies of Patriotic America, but due to their distance, they are of little interest, but under watch.

Kazakhstan: Iran exerts great influence in manipulating the Kazakh government into being their unofficial March to keep Russia away from Iranian interests.

Iraq: Iraq is a state in shambles, and has already felt the sting of having territory torn from them by Iran after loosing Kurdistan and Assyria in World War 3. In another call back to history, it could be that Iran will once again take Iraq as Cyrus did Babylon in the dawn of their civilization.
Made a map of claims so far

Gold - Iran
Dark Red - Byzantium
Dark Green - Neo-Hungaria
Purple - Byelorussia
Bright Red - New British Empire (assuming Duck meant *all* British Colonies ever)
Cyan - Patriotic States of America

Britain shares two borders with me
I probably won't realistically have any space colonies, or at least no major ones. Most of the focus of Iran is in urbanizing and modernizing their more fringe areas, building cities, and making something to rival the west, and also in driving religious fanatics out of Afghanistan.
@TheSage I can just feel the 3rd Roman-Persian War from a mile away :p

History of the Nation:
2046 sparked the end of the tumultuous Islamic Republic of Iran. Iran's foreign relations had completely deteriorated by this point, with rebel groups starting to crop up all over the nation. The most important of these was the Communist Party of Iran, an unusual group with western backing that quickly overshadowed all of its competitors in the fight for control of Iran. Comming out of Iranian Kurdistan, ready to take down the government that they had seen as a vicious tyranny plaguing the nation for far too long. The Iranian Civil War lasted for a good 3 years, with the Communist Rebels and the Iranian Armed Forces fighting for control of the Nation. Eventually, the war came to an end, with the Communists victorious. The Islamic Republic was abolished, it's leaders put to death, and a new state declared, The Iranian People's Republic.

For the first time in a long while, it seemed that Iran had begun to develop warm relations with the western nations, who had long been stringent enemies to them. The economy of Iran benefited greatly, from a new influx of trade relations and the rapid take over of the nation's production centers by the government. Iran quickly got to work at improving upon the infrastucture they had, and by the time that World War 3 set in, the new Iran was more than capable of holding her own against newfound enemies in that would rise up in the Middle East.

In the New World War, Iran took advantage of its markedly improved military to easily occupy and subjugate neighboring Afghanistan, as well as take control of the Region of Iraqi Kurdistan as their western neighbor began to completely crumble in the conflict. In an attempt to secure new land to develop upon once the war was over, Iran turned her armies north towards Central Asia, and was able to convince most of the states there to enter a union with Iran, calling back to their historical ties, their cultural contributions to each other, and finally, pointing to the fact that to their north lay Russia, and that the Iranians could promise much better treatment than what Russia would. With this, Iran was able to incorporate Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, but was forced to go to war with Turkmenistan, who refused the invitation, and tried to take back the other two neighbors from Iran to prevent it from being enclaved within Iranian borders. Ultimately, Turkmenistan was defeated and annexed into Iran.

By the End of the War, Iran's borders had grown considerably, and the new state decided to take a page out of the Soviet handbook for the urbanization and modernization of their newly gained Central Asian states, as well as to the reconstruction and stabilization of Afghanistan. By way of mass settlements of Persians from Iran into Central Asia and Afghanistan, as well as government programs focused on Urbanization in the Steppe, the new Iranian Government has urbanized most of their Central Asian regions, begun programs to irrigate and settle the Karakum Desert, and developed a stable governance in Afghanistan, as well as a mass extermination of terrorist and extremist groups from the region. Iran emerges as a very stable and powerful state in the Middle-East, with World Power status and potentially on its way to superpower in the future.

Main Race:
Persians are the majority Ethnic group of Iran, who have begun spreading far beyond their homelands in Iran proper and out into the farthest peripheries of the State. Persian settlers have been moving out into Central Asia not long after the territories were incorporated into the new state, in an attempt to iranify the Turkic regions, and to reconnect and reassimilate the Tajiki peoples in the far north.

Total Population - 188,700,000 people

66% Persian
15% Kurdish
10% Pashtun
6% Uzbek
3% Other (Turkmen, Luri, Armenian, Kyrgyz, Georgian, etc)

Main Religion:
There is no official state religion in Iran, as per the result of the revolution against the Islamic Republic. Islam is the most widely practiced religion. Historically a Shia' state, as a result of the introduction of new freedom of religion laws, the incorporation of Sunni populated regions, and free movement of these peoples within Iran, the population of Sunnis and Shia's has begun to reach an equalibrium, with Shia's only marginally more populous. Another change in demographics has been the rebirth of Zoroastrianism, brought about by the allowance of conversions out of Islam, as well as the Iranian government's decision to allow the Right of Return for all Iranian Zoroastrians and their descendants.

32% Islam - Sunni
33% Islam - Shia'
10% Zoroastrian
5% Christianity (Typically Nestorianism or Oriental Orthodox)
2% Non-Religious/Atheist
2% Yazdanism

Faction Introduction
The Immortals are an order of holy warriors who have their origins in the Restoration of the Persian Empire by the legendary Emperor, Shahanshah Khalid Taid, The Holy, of Afghanistan. Shahnashan Khalid is believe by the Immortals, and indeed most people who live in the Modern Taid Empire to be the prophesized Saoshyant, as it was Khalid who drove the Muslim invaders from Persia and reclaimed the land of Pars, as well as lead the conquest of Punjab and Sindh and patronized many missionaries to go out among the nomadic Turks to spread the Faith of Zoroaster, so that if the Persian Empire fell again, the faith would not be lost. One of his most significant actions was the creation of the Immortals, warriors based off of the elite soldiers of the Achaemenid Empire, who would be used to fight back and defend the Zoroastrian Religion where ever they were needed. Originally the Immortals resided within the borders of the Taid Empire, but soon it was found that their growing size and power would require something that could accommodate their rapid expansion. A solution was found when Emperor Khalid began the Invasion of Gujarat, and as a result of his victory, annexed the Kathiawar peninsula. The Peninsula was given over the the current Grandmaster of the Immortals, Davud.

The location proved to be useful, as the Taid Empire's rapid expansion into the Indian Subcontinent in the name of finishing Zoroaster's Reforms to the Old Religion, which the domination Hinduism of the Indians was seen as, gave the Immortals more than a reason to fight. Though the wars of expansion ended with the death of Shahanshah Khalid, his effect was profound. He had spread the faith farther than ever before, and spread it far into the Indian subcontinent. The region of Gujarat was designated an independent state for the Immortals, and they put it to good use. The income and food the acquired from their newly conquered subjects, in addition to the prime new resources that could be put into weaponsbuilding and the seaside location to allow for fast movement across the indian ocean, allowed the immortals to flourish as a military order and as a state. By the end of the middle ages, the Immortals were without a doubt one of the most powerful of states in the Indian Subcontinent and in South Asia as a whole. Within the course of 5 centuries, the military role of the Immortals had begun to diminish, as they became something of a hybrid of a warrior caste and ruling elite. They maintained their Persian language and Zoroastrian Faith as a symbol of their origins, and one might say that in Gujarat, the term Anûšiya denoted as much an ethnic group distinct from their Gujarati subjects as it did a military caste.

As time went on, the Sovereign Military State of The Immortals remained a regional military power, and continued to be one into the modern age, kept strong and sharp by a great deal of conflicts with the Zoroastrian states of North India and the Hindu states to the south. The Immortals stood by their creed as defenders of the faith, and aided the states in their wars with the south, even going as far as to take land from some conflicts as payment. The collapse of the Taid Empire in 1567 also helped in keeping them in a position of power as they allied with the Shahdom of Khorasan in its wars for control. At the Turn of the Century, the Immortals had become a world military power, and are considered one of the major players in the Resistance of India and Iran from colonization, as their old enemies, the Muslims, showed up from their Iberian kingdoms to etch out lands for themselves, and as the Christian Europeans made their ways to the Subcontinent as well. The Kingdoms of India would go on to become Colonial Powers as well, but the Immortals never took part, except to establish international bases. Staying secluded on their Peninsula unless hired to settle a score. By the time they had stumbled into the world of Worluk, the year was 1990, and a group of Immortals were lost at sea while crossing from a base in Goa to Indonesia. While there is no explanation for how they moved across the worlds, what they know is that they are in a new land, and must investigate.

Faction Features
The Immortals are a purely military faction; having been born from the reconquest of Persia in the 10th century, carving their independent state out of the Conquest of Gujarat, and establishing military bases and colonies through out the word, the very essence of the Immortals' history is tied to military. As such, they are in possession of very advanced military technology, and have very efficient management of their territories, historically being established in an occupied region. Due to their early presence as a state ruling foreign peoples, the Immortals have gotten skilled at forcibly assimilating those who they conquer into the Persian culture, and getting them to accept the Zoroastrian Faith, regardless of their origin. This has allowed the Immortals to grow exponentially as they conquer more lands, and allows them to more or less rearm and repair their ranks by conscripting the newly conquered peoples into their ranks as soon as they are needed.

Military
The Military of the Immortals is composed of 4 ranks. The Administration is composed of the highest ranking officers, who rarely actually take part in the battles that the Immortals face. They plan the strategies and maintain the structure and order throughout the army. Reconssence is composed of scouts, technicians, engineers, and medics. They are split between Field and and Camp Recon, based on whether they follow the Soldiers or stay in bases full time. The Armed Soliders are split between the Army, Navy and Air Force. The final group is the camp-men. They are typically ethnic Gujaratis that live under Immortal Rule, and are conscripted to serve as janitors, maids, cooks, craftsmen, and other menial domestic positions.

Current Make up of the Group in Worluk is 11,00 soldiers: 35 officers, 10,000 foot soldiers, 300 Naval Soldiers, 600 recon soldiers, and 65 camp-men.

As for Vehicles, two transport ships were caught in the crossing into Worluk, one carrying the soldiers to be moved to Indonesia, and the other containing land vehicles being moved as well. In this ship were 400 ATVs, 20 Tanks, 200 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles. No Fighters were in transport to Indonesia.

The Highest Ranking officer in the current group is General Khosrau Ferghanayi
