When a small group of American college students signed up for a educational trip to New Zealand in late 2014, they could be forgiven for not predicting that the trip would never even come to pass, for a most unfortunate and tragic event occurred whilst the group were en route to their location. The plane on which the passengers were aboard was downed during heavy turbulence and a simultaneous engine failure of the plane somewhere over the Pacific. The pilot manoeuvred an emergency ditching in which the plane landed in the ocean, though it was heavily damaged in the process, many passengers dying on impact. Quickly, the remaining passengers began evacuation, though it was less than a minute before leaked fuel ignited from the plane upon the water and debris, destroying the vast majority of life within any close radius. All that was left was a small group of College students who had scrambled on to a life-raft, all either unconscious or in such a state of shock that they could not do anything but sit frozen. Some time later the group would drift to the shores of an uncharted pacific island with scarce supplies and very little idea of what to do next.

Character Sheet

I'll allow free-form formatting, but include the following in your app: (PM it to me, don't post it here.)

• Character's name.


• Gender.


• Age, within the standard ages of College students. Preferably 18/19/early twenties.


• Picture, must be an actual photo or at the very least, realistic artwork. No anime thanks.


• Appearance - things that aren't shown in the photo, i.e. eye colour, height, body frame, etc.


• Personality. Put some effort in to it.


• Likes & Dislikes, just to add a layer of depth to the character. Hobbies optional. Strengths/weaknesses optional.


• History. You know the drill. You don't have to make it long, but make it interesting. No "will reveal in RP"s please.


• Hand Luggage. If applicable. Were you carrying a bag or a backpack when you got off the plane? If so what does it contain, such as clothing and food. Don't go over the top.


• Anything else: feel free to add as many sections as you like. This stuff is just the essentials.

Just a thought: How much longer should the train journey last? If you guys want, you can wrap up any convos and I can do a post about arriving and stuff. Alternatively, we could play out the train a little longer. Whatever you guys prefer.
