There's a logical fallacy with there being racism and not sexism. Both are derived from the same basic problem-assuming people are or aren't or should or shouldn't be a certain way based on a boxing people into different groups based on a single shared quality. Racism assumes that because someone is of a certain ethnic origin, everyone from that race will fit into a stereotype. Sexism assumes that everyone of a certain gender has the same qualities based on a stereotype. They spring from the same assumption that stereotyping is an accurate and reasonable way of viewing and treating people and you literally cannot have and be one without also having and being the other.
Hey, that's pretty good, Egg!

So, thinking on it now, I think that second type I mentioned would require both strong magic and fine control, which isn't doable. Thus, I'll be going with a type of spellsword character-a swordsman that uses blasts of plasma and energy in tandem with swordplay.
Okay, though I was referring to rather unrefined telekinesis, anyways (like throwing somebody back or such). Anyways, though, I was more partial to the plasma/energy part (fire and lightning and so on) for that one, anyways.

Oh, and the video is The Sorcerer's Apprentice from Disney's Fantasia. You could also think of Merlin in the Merlin (Sam Neil) series, being 'a hand wizard'.
Yeah, I understand. Thanks.

After thinking more about it, I won't be going for an necromancy-knight character for this. I have two ideas, though they're similar enough. Both would be a young human or half-elf male.
One is a spellsword who uses evocation magic (blasts of plasma and/or energy, strong telekinesis, etc) and such mainly as effectively an off-hand weapon in tandem with a weapon.
The other can move his hands and objects follow them, like everything is a marionette to him. It's similar to telekinesis, just that telekinesis is exerting outer force on an object, whereas this would be making the object move on it's own. It would look like this (mainly with the water and storm segment) except that he doesn't make things come alive.

Any comments and/or problems with either? And is anyone interested in partnering up with either of those as a basic concept (I'm all about backstory and character development)?

if you kill someone who has a (filled) glorin vas, is it possible to take their energy and fill your own?

Note their avatar picture and that comment. BEWARE THAT PLAYER.
The falling apart is the only issue I'd have with that, as that would make it a moot point. Skeletons and walking corpses are all I would want; however, corpses are never going to be plentiful enough that ones that last only a day would have any real use. That'd be like if all cars only lasted a week; no one would use them because they just didn't last long enough to be worth it.

So could I make a near-mindless skeleton last an appreciable (as bones don't really rot) amount of time? Weak minions en masse are all I'm talking about, not vampires.
Based on something you said earlier, I'm wondering-is necromancy/urgy an available/viable magic type?
This peaks my interest as well; the pairs element is nearly always something I enjoy.
For the matter, I'm usually an Advanced player as well. That said, I prefer lowering it to high casual over sticking to advanced and not having enough players.
My interest is extremely piqued.

So magical/mystical entities exist and are even commonplace; what about the magic that exists in those same stories, then?
I'm interested, though I'm awaiting more specific details, mostly pertaining to magic, what it is and how it works.
I may be interested. I haven't seen GnB, though I have seen Darker than Black, and I certainly see the parallels there.

Though, I think you should clarify the powers a little, as some may actually not work depending on the metaphysics of the setting and magic.
