Well, that or Mana. Aether has an inherent connection to the sky and/or 'heaven', whereas mana doesn't; thus, aether really only fits if that energy has an intrinsic connection to a substance in their air.
Nah, I didn't mean that it is like Dark Souls. The 'you can't die part because you keep coming back', though, when played darkly... well, Dark Souls is all over that. It's just a 'I've seen this before!' thing.
I imagine that you've finally posted again will aid in that.
Historically accurate (or to the basic theme and ideas of it) is near always a way to peak my interest.
For the record, paladin is a term that is slightly misused among fantasy settings in modern times; 'paladin' refers to the knights following Charlemagne, not 'holy knights' in general. Use it as you will, though.
Here's to hoping the Divine Comedy (Dante's pieces including Inferno) isn't one of you major sources/inspirations (I do NOT like Dante's work).
Depending on how the dark the setting is, the regeneration thing could turn out like Dark Souls XD I'm not committing yet; I am interested, though (so count towards that six for revealing more info).
I just noticed I didn't answer regarding what I want to do for a collab-anything, really, so long as I don't end up stuck isolated from all the other players. I'm pretty open for how I enter this.
Nen is a directionless young hexwulfen with buried omnicidal maniac feelings (and a demon made of it) and a so-far uninvolved Guardian Angel. Has some kind of evil-cloud/aether energy ability. Kind guy, a bit irresponsible and indecisive.
