S'all good, friends. Just checking that you were all alive. You never know.
Sooooo.... you guys alive and kicking?
Serp: That's fine, but they probably know about you. They're also probably judging you heavily. I wouldn't count on FTL jamming systems (at least conventional ones) from hindering their movements too much. Their FTL is actually wormhole travel. Wormholes created by focused communal thought and brainpower. It's pretty neat-o.

Iso: Sounds good to me. The Cephaols you would have encountered would have likely been peaceful ones, and as a result you'll probably be friendly with them to an extent. Warlike Cephaols are rare and dangerous entities.

Sigma: Sounds dandy! Anything particular in mind?

Present in what capacity? Voyeurs, or did they occasionally lean on somebody? :P

Everything. Military aid in some cases, production aid in others. Some Cephaols probably assisted some factions in preventing civil unrest, others probably aided with philosophical and moral input in war councils and such.

Contact would depend upon where significant numbers of your Cephalrrior have wandered out to Could you guestimmate their spread, tell us who they may have the most contact with/to?Also, Darkmatter: If you haven't already seen it, I sent you a PM a while ago.

I don't think contact with other races would, in this case, necessarily depend on them being in the right place at the right time. This isn't written on the NS, but I have intended for them to be a very old race, certainly predating a lot of the galactic communes we see today. They will have been watching from afar for quite some time, making themselves known to races as they become prominent forces in the galaxy. Essentially, I figured that they know you exist, but you also know they exist. They're just sort of a 'fact of the galaxy'. Hence why they can be called upon for any number of services.
Their actual physical spread is less important in this case; they have a habit of 'just showing up' during times or events of note. It's reasonable to assume they were present in some capacity during all these conflicts, probably on both sides of it too.

Also, NewSun: We'd love to, but at 180 degrees, you are clear on the opposite side of the Galaxy. Even the Stoor, who would be closest to you, are far, far away. What does everyone think?

Sounds about a right gap for such an alien culture to develop; plus they're a very old race, so being further out suits them just fine. Do note that not many Cephalrrior are actually located in the home system - a good majority of them go out and do their own thing in the galaxy. They're pretty curious.
So who's up for contracting Cephalrrior groups for construction and/or mining operations within their empires?
Oh right on! Carry on, then ;)
I would guess so. Any sign of everybody else? If they pulled runners on us now...
