Personality: Given the nature of Usagi and its reputation to stay out of conflict...Sage is very nosey and curious. He likes to know whats going on, especially supernatural affairs.
Skills:
Archery: Sage is a very talented Archer
Martial arts: while not a master in the slightest he is pretty good with most kinds of melee weapons.
Powers: As a member of the Gold Clan his ‘individual talent is enhanced to their full potential” His manifestation was pretty lame at first. it was best descibed as Aura Manipulation Now I know your probably thinking thats every clan ability, and your right it is..which is why its lame. But for him, once he got the hand of it, he became able to shape his gold aura into constructs. while extremely versatile it comes with limits too. his creations have to be simple, or at the very least he has to have a full understanding of its functions. for example: he can make a bow and arrow just fine. and shoot it much like a normal one. but he cant make a car because there are too many parts he cant explain. and of course big things drain him so he tends to keep it small. he doesnt like bringing out the giant hammer of DOOOM!!!
History: Not much to be said about him really. He grew up in the gold clan which is why he is so well trained. I was going to right some kind of inspiriational story about how he came to be affiliated with the 'Clan out of Time' but there is no story. He was raised in the clan, adopted as a baby. He got the chance at a regular education but didnt really socialize with his peers since they wouldnt really understand the ability to make swords out of other things. Despite that he has a rather cheerful disposition and works pretty well with others on a professional level. But buddy buddy doesnt work.
When he was selected as the Second in command in Usagi it wasnt because of anything special. he was really given the position to more easily monitor the other clans. The gold clan of course had a habit of staying out of everyones way and observing. And if anything happened the masked members woudl show up and there would be no media coverage. The other clans had their own views of the Gold clan, ranging from respect to disinterest. It was, primarily, Sage's job to pan out the general opinion of Usagi.

I have been working on a couple Kido. and i still am working on more. but i would really appreciate a Gift from the odd captain Viole that Gio never got the chance to take a class from.
Seals though... the couple that are canon are....extremely OP and not really usable so i would be making my own. If i do them that is.

which brings me to my next question...if/when someone is promoted...does that mean they then have a higher spiritual energy? like a spirit energy upgrade?

you're also forgetting it requires a high amount of reistu to use such high lv kido and I doubt most seated would have enough to even do a lv 90 hado even if he tried xD
Yeah but it also a matter of control as well. if they didnt have the control the kido would either not work..or potentially obliterate them. depending on the type. But Gio is amazing in terms of control. powerwise he is probably a little above average for a 3rd seat. depending on how you see energy levels
Sinai Bid fairwell to Zheng and forced herself to her feet. She had to do a few stretches before shunpo'ing back towards the seireitei. The squad two barracks once again seemed different to her. As it it was quickly loosing its charm. At the beginning of the day when she first arrived it seemed amazing, now it was only impressive. Her first mission as a shinigami wasnt even with her squad and for some reason that troubles her. She walked in quietly not sure whether to try to socialize or sleep. But what ever she decided, a shower was needed first. a nice Hot shower

But i get your point, which is why even though Gio is a Kido concentrated character I keep his numbers low in the IC to avoid being broken.

was the 'Mastery' Rule changed? I see Kurisa never actually commented on it but was it changed?
