Orion groaned to himself as he hammered away in the rafters. "Whose great idea was it to think I want to spend my mornings in a roof. Early morning training my foot, just cuz I'm using a hammer I made doesn't make this training." He struck nails between words. He had already hit his fingers several times at this point and was far from happy. "why could Kerenza be here with her magical people and make them do this crap" He paused for a moment, letting the hammer fade away looking around what would become the interior of the Guild. So fat it looked pretty good, almost grand. It was amazing except for the fact that he was here building it instead of home sleep like he ought to be this early in the morning. He summoned a new work hammer, since the other one was worn out from over use and kept hammering in nails like he was told to do. "this better be worth it" he again mumbled although no one was around him
Split post cuz my phone is acting up. It would be different because its a make magic but the idea of a glowing construct is about the same. It would look more like the construct im trying to create. The bigger the construct the less stable it will probably be but smaller objects like arrows would have a density similar to their real counterparts.

Also im not sure what this little thing i need to change is. Also not clear if the magic was accepted, tweeked or flat out denied
However, Magic Maker is Arc of Embodiment, as the objects are formed from the users magic. So either your type of magic is a sub section which can only make objects and not living things unlike Spirit Magic, or you can make everything as you said but they are so brittle they are one time use things.

Personally I think Spirit Make making living spirits while Magic Make makes objects would be a good contrast between the two, making them a deadly team together.

BTW, this is what Make make would basically look like: http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Sword

Wait im confused. Kind of. I get the association with AOE. I dont get how CREATING (not yelling just amphasising) a living spirit being isnt associated. Also i dont particularly mind the "brittleness" cuz my character is young amd learning so it makes sense. But it wouldnt necessarily look like the magic sword link
I knew you would make that association but i have to disagree. arc of embodiment is A lost and B exponentially more complex than what i am proposing. while AOE can create solid matter as well as living creatures for an unidentified amount of time. mine cannot. it can only manifest magic energy/power into a solid. it doesnt last and its not as stable. the closest example i can come up with is the ability of a Green lanterns ring. the structures are made out of light (magic) and imagination.

while my magic is similar in theory to AOE I took the concept from the core of the Molding magic which "allows the user to mold or create something by concentrating their Magic Power into their hands, like an element, into different shapes or forms." so i thought about skipping the element and using the root of the ability.

This is my defense, but you are the GM so if it is still unnaceptable i will try to see if i can come up with something else. but of course there area a lot of make magics, they are the best, you cant beat the power of imagination (pun intended)
sage looked around "your brother isnt up yet?"
"i couldnt have said it better myself but now that we know. we should expect the kid gloves to come off. especially since we might have upset them" not that he cared
ER- just a reminder, I'm waiting on your critique.
"as much as i can't say i blame them, what bother me the most isnt that. its the fact that our first day of "training" this castle gets attacked. asside from the fact that it might not be as save as they say it is, what ever is against them..is on to us. "
Hassan pulled up a map of the part of the city the building was in and started planning out an escape route. 2 days wasnt much time, he wasnt even sure they made teams. regardless he found himself a room and took a seat. He hadn't expect to be staying there but perhaps he should have. living with the people you work with is one way to build a sense of team work but a 'practice' heist would have accomplished the same thing. He thought about all the people that had been in the room, seems like Booker covered most of the bases when compiling this team but there was no buying team participation. presumably most of these people were team players of some sort but Hassan knew how group dynamics went, it was only a matter of time before things got complicated.
"who knows, i get the feeling the elements barely know whats going on out there" Sage noted
