Nicias Watched the fight..or match... or ballet. i wasnt something worth watching honestly but he had no where else he could go. he was forced to watch it so he sat there and suffered through it. Both Students did seem to have a decent grasp on their abilities though

Azure Dragon!

Orion, already on the defensive, made a note note not to step in the goo. When the crossbow was aimed at him he didnt wait for it to be fired. "Image.WALL!!" he erected a wall. He wasnt foolish enough to think it would hold, so he hopped into the the carraige and pulled out the driver before it and his barrier exploded. The force sent him flying but he shielded as best he could. It took him a second to get back on his feet after that but he managed. Already covered in scrapes and bruises he whipped blood from his lip.

out of everyone Orion knew he had to keep Kyojin's attention, so he created a crossbow and Shot though the smoke roughly where he thought the man was at. he was shooting blind but it served a point. Orion could only make things when he understood how all the parts worked. a crossbow was simple, a stock, a switch, a string and of course an arrow. Orion could create a bowstring with higher tension than a normal bowstring propelling the arrow faster. and would simply recreate the bowstring and arrow after each shot, making for a very quick reload. He ran toward the tree line, leveling is Image-Bow and firing into the shoulder of one of the bandits in his way, pinning the man to a tree. He reloaded his weapon and caught sight of Kyojin again but when he went to level the shot again he couldnt fire because another bandit was approaching him, readying what looked like an fire spell. Orion turned the bow on him, changing the arrow head to a olid fist befor firing it at the bandit face. knocking him off his feet. when he turned back to face kyuji that roided out crossbow was aimed at him again. so Orion made a run for it. hoping the shot would hit a tree and not him.

Just Like Moths to the flame, the hollows came. At this intensity Giovanni's reatsu would keep their attention away from Shusuke. when the first few hollow attacked him He erected his Shikais barrier. expanding the spherical energy construct from the blades. it pushed away the Kido net thus spreading it over the barrier. more hollows instantly came at him with the rise of spiritual pressure. but were insnared by the net. His barrier broke from being spread so thin. But the Net remained. He had ensnared 8 hollows at this point but they kept coming. He Slowly drew his still glowing blade from its sheath and slashed across the masks of two hollow. as they dislved another, larger one took its place, shaking the entire net. Giovanni took a cautious step back to re-evaluate his senses. there were at least a dozen more coming. He held his hand out. feed more energy to the net to make it a beacon and then slammed his hand to the ground "Bakudo 21 Sekienton" A large plume of red smoke erupted and he used it to cover his escape. She sliped through a hole in the net he had made and dashed toward Shusuke's direction While lowering his spiritual pressure. That way the net would draw the hollows thinking he was still inside and the smoke would keep them out.

Now it was just time to pick off the stragglers. When Gio emerged from the dust, in clear view of shusuke he cut down another hollow that had caught sight of him. He Shunpo'd toward Shusuke. He turned around to face the smoke once he stopped. take care of the stragglers first then worry about the net.

Class: he is so ninja that he appears to be more of a wandering swordsman but in truth, he is a ninja. XD



Powers:
1.

Enhanced senses/ hyperawareness

: because of his training. The user's natural five senses are pushed at the highest limits of human perfection; meaning that their sense of sight, touch, hearing, smell and taste are enhanced. An individual with this ability are capable of seeing further, acutely touching ink on a page, hear small sounds, have a smell capability similar to an animal and tasting accurately than normal members of their species.

darkness manipulation:

the ability to create and control darkness. he can blend into shadows, (but not sink into them) and absorb light for about a 5 meter radius around him.
He can control his shadow and solidify it to manipulate small object (or pick locks) naturally his power is extremely limited in the day. At night or in dim light the shadow can affect physical things like physically binding people or choking them. the binds are easily broken. And if the shadow comes in contact with a light it dissipates. So fire, lightning, glowing magic water. anything bright enough to push back the shadows
At night where there is more darkness he can connect his shadow to other shadows and control them (the shadows) too, giving him a bigger shadow to do things with. Like solidify into rope for him to climb
A part of this included binding people by their shadows. when connecting his shadow to another person’s shadow the sensation is that of paralysis but it can be fought and overcome. However if he is physically touching the persons shadow, the paralysis is stronger.
He can manipulate shadow but unless they are connected to his shadow all they can do is “dance” or move. Its really only good for scaring people and distractions.
At night when darkness is much more abundant he can create tendrils of darkness/shadows that can effect physical things. While it comes in handy with his assassinations its really just for him to be lazy and not actually pick thing up or hold them. can be really spooky. In combat it takes to much effort to use so its normally pre-emptive if he ever uses it.
Lastly his coup de grace of darkness is light. As previously state he can absorb the light. By simply releasing it he can create a flash of light. While in darkness it can be blinding but that’s….all it does. It allows him an opportunity to strike or escape. Usually used for escape

weakness
1. Because his senses are so sharp he can be over stimulated by powerful scents, or extremely loud noises. bright lights, even his own, are a doosy for him too but his eyes will eventually adjust. They are also not at a super human level so he doesn’t sense everything.

2. light...day time...light.

3. He has a very hard time destroying/killing things that he deems beautiful. This includes women children nature. It causes hesitation in him.
Background

his Earliest memories involve training and conditioning. running, fighting, climbing, killing. he was a born and bred ninja by his thirteenth year. Even among the mountain compound where he was trained there was something about him that stood out. occasionally some of the children would develop skills that went beyond the human norm. abilities that tended to assist them in their missions. These were rare however and hardly went beyond feats of speed and strength. But in the case of Orion and his companion there was something different but no one could tell what it was

by his 20th year he had become an accomplished master of the way of the ninja. mastering the art of infiltration, assassination, several forms of sword fighting and archery. at this time his gift was made know upon the death of his companion. the power of darkness, hailed by the shinobi, seemed to be his to command, in inexplicable ways. For fear of it he was banished from his clan to live alone. A life he preferred with his companion dead. To this day he wanders around as a katana wielding drifter, named kaji, seldom calling on his powers of darkness.
*added* currently on the side of the darker prince who has allied himself with the demons Orion leads a small group of demons on various covert missions. One recently was killed but no one cares.

Other: Most mistake him for a samurai and he seldom denies it as his sword skills are good enough. But underneath that not so fancy get up are several ninja tools that he wont hesitate to pull out since...well he’s a ninja, its their job to cheat.

Giovanni nodded and started to the right. "harmonize Sorareo" he placed his hand on his zanpakuto a he whispered the release command. His reatsu lulled to a low as he began concentrating. creating a big enough was what would take the most amount of time but the hollow he did sense was a ways away. as he gazed off the cliff he had to think of a way to set it up. if he used the cliff as a center point it could potentially leave him vulnerable. laying the net on the ground left aerial hollows unefected. and if he layed it laterally it was simply a matter of direction. a sphere would have to do. He would have to use the barrier from his shikai ability to create the sphere though and have the kido net surround. expanding the barrier as much as he planned on doing it would leave the barrier extremely weak to the point of literally just being for show. But the net would solidify after he hid it so it was just a matter of acting quick enough.

He took a deepbreath and let it out "here we go Sorareo" he raised his blade, still in its scabbard up and held it horizontally. a Web like kido began to pour out of his hands and fell to the ground around him piling up quickly. this was the net. and it was already beginning to attract attention. Giovanni could sense Hollows begin to approach. he still had a moment but he realized that there would be enough time to hide the net. so he just had to bank on the fact that hollows were stupid. easy enough. "inhale Sorareo" his blade began glowing inside its sheath as the hollows approached his position. he could see a couple of them in the distance but could sens more beyond them

War of Magics

Sage flipped through his book. not exactly satisfied with what he found. infact he had more questions than answers now.

"um... lets see.... Earth?" he called out

"i couldn't agree with you more" Giovanni said in response to the depressing atmosphere. he Picked up his pace, walking silently as he tried to sense anything abnormal. he could sense a few low spiritual pressures from the residents but nothing significant. more importantly he wasn't sensing hollows yet. His senses were sharp and his distance was far enough to give him a good head up if he sensed something. but it took his concentration. "we should find a spot to set up soon. we are getting close"

"alright, You can pick that rondevu point then." giovanni offered. it wasnt much but so long as they worked together they should be fine. now that they had a plan and a back up plan they just had to get to the 67th district to put it into practice. The walk from prosperity to poverty was rather disheartening honestly. it was a visible decline that made walking this road almost depressing. As a whole all the wealth of the soul society was concentrated in the serieite. a couple districts around it had some money but everyone else was dirt poor or poorer

Can she move while using void

How lonf does it take to activate
How long does it last?
Does it hinder or otherwise affect her swordskills?
If soneone has a magical fireball for example will she be uneffected as the fireball is still physically fire but magically conjured

Rumiko... can you explain you ability "the void" to me. Also does your character have any physical weaknesses that are well....physical. while her inability to look for love is rather humanizing it doesnt quite effect her abilities. Or if it does its not in a way i understand clearly
