Shinji rubbed his chin and closed his eyes as he thought for a moment. "Very well then...this will serve as a test for both of you. If either of you die then of course you fail...it may be a challenging mission, then again it may not be...depends on your approach and tactics." Shinji opened a draw in his desk then pulled out a file and dropped it onto the desk infront of him and opened it then looked it over before speaking "You are to detain a man known as Sayuri. He is an odd character and is known to hang around the 70th to 80th north district. it'd be best if you left immediately as this man is known to disappear from time to time..."

Gio nodded. Everything these days basically revolved around the outer districts. 60's 70's 80's. they are all the wilder, lawless, extremely poor regions that most shinigami never actually go to willingly. In fact they dont even get sent out there on missions to often. Everything near the seireitei is what matters most even though the seireitei has a barrier that is pretty damn effective. But more to the point the Head captain didnt seem to be about to give any more details about the mission. Find and detain a man... a single man. in the over populated districts. and not just one specific district.... a possible ten districts. Basically a needle in a haystack. Good news was Gios sense should, in theory, be harp enough to sense him if he has any spiritual pressure... hopefully anyway.

Orion was pretty Lost. everything happened pretty quickly but he didnt even bother to relax. He had been to spent to engage in any kind of combat anyway. so he Listened. As his guild master spoke about Serpent dagger.... nothing came to mind. Not even the Name rang a bell. but it was extremely suspicious that all these bad coincidences were occuring on the same day. The opening day of the official Guild status. But WHY? that was the question of the hour. That was what everyone else probably wanted to now as well.

Once most of the kids had left the table Sage had absolutely no clue where to go. It seemed most were off to bed but as far as he knew he didnt have a room asigned to him yet so he figured it would be best for him to wait

Giovanni waited to be addressed before speaking. "Sir, I am here to request an opportunity to prove myself capable of seated position, per your instructions. I have prepared myself as best i can to face what you have for me to do. " he tried not to sound to full of himself. He knew better than that. But at the same time he had to be vague. The head captain knew exaclty what he wanted already. He had already been to this office more times that he could count since his graduation and would be visiting it often in the future most likely. That was his hope anyway, provided that he live long enough to get to that point. At the very least Gio had a plan and anything that came next was just a stepon the path toward his goal.

The head Captain sensed two presences outside his office then spoke "Enter!" Shinji waited for the two to enter, knowing one was Giovanni and the other was someone he didn't know...regardless...this could work in his favor as he had something planned for Giovanni but it required two people at the very least. He hoped this would work with both of them but still...regardless...it didn't matter, it was something they'd do like it or not...it had to be done and Shinji had choose these two

Giovanni entered and knelt as was custom. Since he was not in fact the first in line to see the head captain he remained quiet to allow the other shinigami to have his turn first. That was the main reason he remained quiet anyway. the Second and much less important reason was mainly to readjust to the Head captains spiritual pressure. it was extremely tame and wasnt suffocating or anything but because of the way Giovanni felt the world it felt...different because of the cave. while everyone else's spiritual pressure seemed 'sharper' to Giovanni the head Captains seemed 'deeper.' Being the Head Captain meant he was extremely powerful and detestably had no equal in power. But know it was like Gio was beginning to experience the depth of that power. it was an interesting sensation that was met with curiosity and caution.

Giovanni took his leave from the Kido corps barracks swiftly. several people watched him go but none said anything to him, or to stop him. smart people. He quickly returned to the seireitei with no real destination in mind. He was pretty sure he would end up back at the squad 1 barracks as he usually did. But in the mean time he had to get readjusted to the light. The kido corps HQ was rather dim, he hadnt really noticed because of all the damn darkness he was in in that god forsaken cave. But out here it was super bright and on top of that it felt like his spiritual senses were sharper. His distance was the same but everything was....clearer in a way, or sharper. the cave might have heightened his awarenes and potentially his control but it did little in the way of experience.. unless somehow he winds up in another dark tunnel... but god help who ever was responsible. In other news, he was right, he wasnt even paying any attention to where he was going as he walked and sure enough winded up in the squad 1 barracks yet again. he should probably see about getting a room here, make his life easier. perhaps he would bother the captain again, give him his Kido corps plans. maybe that way the head captain would see he had an aptitude for managment. That sounds like something that would be important. When he got to the door he noticed another shinigami was already there waiting.
