Godfall: Heaven And Earth Collide

To most of the population, life continued on no differently. They were largely unaware of an event called 'Godfall', where many gods from different religions and beliefs were torn from their planes of existence and thrust upon earth by 'The One.' 'The One' believed it should be the only god, and it went by many names in todays age. God, Buddha, Jehova, Allah, etc. And by enacting 'Godfall,' became the only entity to occupy a heavenly space.

The gods that fell to earth and were cast into mortal shells. They despised 'The One,' but found themselves powerless to do anything about it. But to maintain their existence, they had to feed upon humans. To some this involved blood, to some more carnal measures, to some energy, to some life itself. Each god fed from mortals in a different manner, taking something against their will. And thus their grizzly existence continued, dreaming of a day when they could return to their realms and seek revenge against 'The One.'

The only thing that could kill these gods, and send them to a cursory state jokingly called 'purgatory' by those in the know, was weapons forged from the bones of god themselves. One god, by the name of Baldr, the Norse god of Light, sought people that he felt could handle job of killing these gods-turned-mortals. He informed them of the events of 'Godfall' and then sacrificed his body, turning it into five godly weapons of his bones.

You are one of the five people chosen. Are you ready to defend humanity from a threat of heavenly origins?

Further Back-story

One warm night, a man glad in gold in resplendent armour appeares to you and described the following:
~His name is Baldr
~He is a god
~He described the events of 'Godfall'
~He tells you that he has chosen you to fight the gods feeding on humanity.
~He tells you that when gods die on earth they go to a place they call 'purgatory.' This place only has a limited capacity, and once it fills up with fallen gods, they are regurgitated back into heaven.
~Baldr tells you that he will sacrifice himself to give the chosen ones weapons of his bone, and be the first one to go to 'purgatory.'
~He then tells you that he plans to rally the gods that you kill and send to 'purgatory' so that when they are eventually regurgitated back into the heavenly plane, they can fight 'The one' together and take back their places in the heavens.
~He then leaves, telling you that when the time is right, all the chosen ones will be gathered.

The weapons are of your choice. Not looking at guns or anything though, looking at swords, axes, maces, bow/arrow, you know, fantastical weapons. The flashier the better ;)

As much as I love the idea, I am going to have to say no...I am sorry dude, but I really want this to be between humans and gods only, with a possible demonic splash if a certain act happens as dictated by chance in the party...

Love the ideas and concept though, don't get me wrong :)
