I've wondered about this for a while.

Perhaps it plays off of 'new', as in "I bought a new car" instead of 'knew', as in "I already knew that".

Otherwise, thought provoking xD

Do people read role plays that they are not in?

I have read a few roleplays that I was not apart of, simply out of curiosity. Not the WHOLE thing, but good portions of it if I adore the writers' writings - which I did, obviously. It's just like reading a book, save for it's two people responding to one another to expand the story. *shrugs* I don't think there is anything weird about it, to be honest.

Well, that's sort of ironic because I've always liked sci-fi RPs but never enough to be in one xD

Wow, two years is a long time. Even if it is a Free roleplay, I'm sure it is still interesting. As far as free-players being illiterate, I guess I wouldn't have thought about it if you hadn't said anything. I try not to label or categorize people based on what their roleplay's "level" is.

The few that I'm doing are 1x1's. I'm a medieval/fantasy lover so they are based way back when with a few aspects of fantasy thrown into them.
