Daniel tossed a sloppy smile back to Kennedy, her humor always lightened the job. "As a matter of fact, I did." He shrugged, "They won't mind if l don't show, but I'm pretty sure it'll get cold." He pursed his lips before continuing.
"Y'know, hamburger's can't stay fresh forever" He shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets before heading out into the cold air.
He wasn't one for dating, to be honest he was shy near most girls, and wasn't good at making new friends. But, that didn't slow him down from at least having a bit of fun with people he knew. Running his hand through his light brown hair, Dan strolled down the street a ways, giving space between him and the others. He only hoped that the shopkeeper in question wasn't the woman who blamed him for the stealing earlier, he wasn't too keen on getting a broom in his face.
His amber eyes shining against the artificial lighting, Daniel spun lightly on his heels and tilted his head. "If you don't mind me asking, who exactly is this shopkeep? Or did they wish to remain anonymous?" His careless smile returned, curiosity flaring in his gaze.
He leaned back on his heels, the policeman wouldn't be too hard to deal with. But, he wasn't too sure. Each time they confronted him, he seemed to get a little bit... It was hard to say. Perhaps, smarter about them? He just seemed to know things he shouldn't. That itself was a big put out. He didn't need to ask questions about him, having talked to him before, he knew just what he was getting into. Or, at least he thought he did. His eyes shifting between Kennedy and Jeff, lingering for a while before he pulled them away, lips pursed.
