I do not really know what to write on these things, so I will keep it as straight to the point as possible...
Yeah, right.
A few things about me...
No one should give me a computer or pen/paper when I am tired or I may be very well tempted to conjure up some crazy ideas of world domination. The writer's imagination is the most deadliest weapon in the world, especially when armed with a pen.
I have only really had two ambitions in life: joining the Marine Corps and becoming an author. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the honor of joining the marines due to...complications. I wanted to become an MP WDH for explosives detection or a Blackhawk helicopter pilot (that would have been an army career path, though). The only thing that prevented me from joining was wanting to follow my main career path...being a writer. If I had enlisted, I would have never had the time to write and writing for me is almost as important as breathing.
I do not believe I am in the categories as Anee Rice or Dean Koontz when it comes to writing, but I believe I am fairly decent at it when I put my mind to it and I would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to be published to share my literature with the world. In my writings, I try to speak to all crowds under an array of different circumstances and get inside their heads. As I am planning out my characters, I always remember there are two sides of a story behind an individual: the part that others see and think of said individual and the person's true intentions. For example, a school bully may only be believed to like the pain he inflicts upon others due to the thrill of being the bigger and stronger person, but in actuality that isn't the case at all because he lived in a home where he was taught to believe that violence is the key to earning respect to earn a place in society. That may have been a poor example (as it is two in the morning and the neurons in my brain are beginning to shut down), but the moral of my story is never judging a book by its cover and to read into it in order to understand someone before blindly judging. I try to speak to both crowds in the situation to attempt shining a light on their perspectives so they can grasp a better meaning of one another. I do not think I can change the world, but if I can open the eyes of even one individual then I feel I have done my part.
Are you still reading this hoopla? If so, you deserve a cookie! Now that I got all that out of my system, then allow me to shine light on the reason why I am here...to roleplay! Here are a few of my topics of interest...
I love anime. Plain and simple. Though I wouldn't go as far to take on the title of "otaku," as I am very picky with what I watch. I have to like the art style, cannot keep with subtitled shows, and very rarely do I enjoy an actual manga. -Would not mind a good Naruto RP...have done a few in the distant past and quite enjoyed them.
-IDK why but I have wanted to to an Ouran High School Host Club RP centered around the Hitachiin twins where one of them has cancer and is dying, so the crew helps them achieve their dream bucket list before kicking the bucket. If there are any takers, let me know in PM.
-Those are about the only two anime RPs I really feel up to doing. Perhaps Bleach? (Though I lost track after season 3). Future Diaries? And original Death Note RP with original characters.
-And I am not exactly sure why, but I love the (sad) beauty in dramatic tragedies and character deaths... -I must admit...huge yaoi fan (boy x boy love). Do not like yuri (girl x girl love)...unless that girls name is Jennifer. FREAKING. Lawrence. Just sayin'... -If it has a good plot, I will most likely like it...as long as it has strong character developments...

*This message has been brought to you by the maniacal musings of the tired and sleep-deprived.*
Jace stared at Basil for the longest, not knowing how to respond or how to believe him for that matter. The longer he stared him in the eye, though, he could tell that everything he he was saying was the truth. He didn't understand any of this and the last thing Jace wanted to do was believe that his best friend was dead, but with that look...there was no denying it. Basil was dead and had been for a long time. There were no such things as miracles like he stupidly allowed himself to believe once upon a time. All the prayers he sent to the Heavens in those last weeks of Basil's life had fallen on deaf ears, yet he'd stupidly believed there was some unforeseen force who'd managed to spare his life. "You really are dead..." he said softly, mostly to himself. More tears brimmed his eyes and spilled over, but this time he didn't wipe them away. For the longest he stared at the ground before taking a few steps back in his stupor. How was he supposed to feel about this? Angry? Sad? Crushed? Despite the fact that Basil was standing right in front of him, he was dead somehow and he hadn't even known. Before Basil had died, he made Jace promise not to forget about him and have him live in inside his heart, but in the high of his falsified hope, he had forgotten about him altogether. This...this imposter was leading the life of the one who he'd believed to be his best friend that he'd fallen in love with long ago. Without thinking of what he was doing, he raised his gun, leveling it with Basil's chest as he put his finger on the trigger. "If you aren't really Basil, then how did you only recently figure out that you weren't him? How could you go six years without knowing you aren't someone. Why were you here to replace him?! Tell me now!" His hands were trembling in his rising anguish and anger.
"You're crazy, Basil." Jace shook his head in disbelief though deep down he knew he was telling the truth. "Quit lying to me! I don't know what a synth is, but you are not one of them. You're right in front of me...flesh and blood. Unless I really am insane and you're only a figment of my imagination like you said before you..." he gulped and didn't dare bother saying what he was thinking. "You're not just the voice in the back of my mind. I can hear you, see you, feel you!" He wiped away furiously the few tears that streaked down his cheeks and pointed accusingly at him. "Do not dare tease me like this. If you don't feel the same way towards me like I feel for you, then just tell me. But do not try making up bullshit like this just to push me away."
Jace's heart fell upon hearing those words although he didn't know why and took a few steps away from Basil. "What...what are you talking about, Basil? You ain't dead!" he asked in a soft voice. "You're not making any sense, you idiot! You're standing right in front of me!" The explanation given was just too farfetched to believe, yet the feeling it created in Jace's chest scared him witless.
Even through the tears Jace still managed to chuckle slightly, but it only made him feel better for a moment. He clenched both of Basil's hands tightly as if he was going to disappear in front of him while they spoke to one another. He held onto him as if he was the only thing still anchoring him to this world. "I promise," he said, his voice cracking. "I promise I will try to live as happily to your expectations as I can...for the both of us." Finally, he looked up at him, staring intently. "No one will ever replace you. Not for as long as I live." Jace bit his bottom lip as he stared at Basil while he gave the explanation and when he was finished, Jace shook his head in disbelief. "What the hell are you talking about? Who have you taken from? Would you just quit talking in riddles and tell me already? I've been with you for half your life and I've never seen you act this weird, even when you were lying on your death bed!" That last statement lingered in the air like a plague and he wished he hadn't said it at all. Suddenly, he grabbed him by the shirt collar and pulled him towards him, though gently. "You're freaking me out, Basil, and I don't like it. I think you owe an explanation. Please."
Jace couldn't help it, but this made him cry even more. This was unfair of him to ask this of him because he didn't want to lie to him, but didn't dare say otherwise. He closed his eyes and lowered his head. "How can I be okay when you're the only one who has ever gave the slightest damn about me?" he whispered; he couldn't say it any louder for the fear of his voice cracking.
"You have every right to ask anything that you want," Jace said a little more angrily than he meant to; of course he wasn't mad at Basil, he was mad at himself. Mad at the entire universe. He slowly came to a halt and stared at the ground. "I want to take a break here," he said as he helped Basil off his back and helped him sit down on a fallen log near a small, half dried up creek. He sat down on the log beside him but didn't dare look at him as he stared at the ground beneath his feet. "This isn't fair. None of this is fair, dammit!" Before he realized what he was doing, he punched the log a nearby tree as hard as he could. A sickening crack filled the air around them but he didn't feel any pain aside from the one in his heart. "I should have been there for you like I was supposed to, then none of this would have happened. It's my fault, so why ain't I the one dying?" He didn't realize the tears scarring a path down his cheeks.
"Don't mention it." Jace fell into a long bout of silence after that as his thoughts roamed wild. How could he have said no to him in the first place? His best friend, his only friend, was dying before his eyes and with each passing minute he grew closer to death's embrace. Basil had asked him once before, a while back if they could go visit the aquarium, but Jace has said 'no,' because it was too dangerous. Now he wished more than anything that he'd taken him that day, just so they could have enjoyed the day without feeling as if it was going to be the last they spent together. No one ever knew what the future held in store for them, though, until the unthinkable is brought down on top of them. "I'm sorry, Basil. I should have brought you here a long time ago. I know that is what you wanted, but I was selfish to turn you down." Jace looked off to the side in shame. "Forgive me for being a ass."
"To the aquarium it is," Jace said without complaint. Of course he was worried about Basil's well-being, but like he'd mentioned before he was dying anyways; at least if they died on this journey, then he would have died having the freedom of doing something he wanted to do instead of wasting away the last of his days lying in a bed. "I actually haven't been there myself, but I've wanted to go as well. At least we can experience it together." 'This one last thing together.' He closed his eyes for a split moment before releasing a small sigh. "We may have to take a couple of breaks, though, if it's okay with you. I'd break my back for you, but I'd like to at least get you back home, too."
"You have the reins, Basil. You've already gotten me in trouble for doing this in the first place, so it doesn't really matter to me where we go from here. Just tell me where to go and I will get you there," Jace said, continuing to walk. Once they were outside the walls of the town, he reached around and took hold of his ass once more, shoving him up his back. This time, though, he kept them there to give him more support and so he could rest his arms. It wasn't that strenuous to hold him like this as Basil had lost so much weight over the last few weeks; he was lighter than a feather. "Do not mind my hands. I'm just preventing you from falling. The terrain gets a bit rocky up this way, so you'll need the extra support. Not that it's not an honor to be groping your ass." He chuckled slightly to let him know he was just kidding.
"Not really, but then again when have I ever been sure about a single sane thought that passes through my mind? I'm not sure if that actually made sense, but the answer is never." Jace smirked slightly as he reached around and put his hands on his butt to throw him a little higher on his back so Basil could hold on better. As he made his way towards the front door, he made sure that Basil's father wasn't around before quickly darting out the front door and shut it behind him with his foot. He couldn't believe he was actually going to do this, but he was practically half way there now and had to see it through to the end. "We're going to leave through the back entrance so not many people see us leaving," he said. As they walked through the streets, Jace tried ignoring the odd stares passerby gave them and grinned like an idiot at them. Most just shook their heads in exasperation. "How are you doing back there? Are you good?" He felt him slipping down his back again and repeated the actions from earlier to slide him up his back.
