I do not really know what to write on these things, so I will keep it as straight to the point as possible...

Yeah, right.

A few things about me...

No one should give me a computer or pen/paper when I am tired or I may be very well tempted to conjure up some crazy ideas of world domination. The writer's imagination is the most deadliest weapon in the world, especially when armed with a pen.

I have only really had two ambitions in life: joining the Marine Corps and becoming an author. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the honor of joining the marines due to...complications. I wanted to become an MP WDH for explosives detection or a Blackhawk helicopter pilot (that would have been an army career path, though). The only thing that prevented me from joining was wanting to follow my main career path...being a writer. If I had enlisted, I would have never had the time to write and writing for me is almost as important as breathing.

I do not believe I am in the categories as Anee Rice or Dean Koontz when it comes to writing, but I believe I am fairly decent at it when I put my mind to it and I would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to be published to share my literature with the world. In my writings, I try to speak to all crowds under an array of different circumstances and get inside their heads. As I am planning out my characters, I always remember there are two sides of a story behind an individual: the part that others see and think of said individual and the person's true intentions. For example, a school bully may only be believed to like the pain he inflicts upon others due to the thrill of being the bigger and stronger person, but in actuality that isn't the case at all because he lived in a home where he was taught to believe that violence is the key to earning respect to earn a place in society. That may have been a poor example (as it is two in the morning and the neurons in my brain are beginning to shut down), but the moral of my story is never judging a book by its cover and to read into it in order to understand someone before blindly judging. I try to speak to both crowds in the situation to attempt shining a light on their perspectives so they can grasp a better meaning of one another. I do not think I can change the world, but if I can open the eyes of even one individual then I feel I have done my part.

Are you still reading this hoopla? If so, you deserve a cookie! Now that I got all that out of my system, then allow me to shine light on the reason why I am here...to roleplay! Here are a few of my topics of interest...

I love anime. Plain and simple. Though I wouldn't go as far to take on the title of "otaku," as I am very picky with what I watch. I have to like the art style, cannot keep with subtitled shows, and very rarely do I enjoy an actual manga. (Naruto is my favorite anime, but what the hell were those artists on when writing those action scenes in the manga???)

-Would not mind a good Naruto RP...have done a few in the distant past and quite enjoyed them.

-IDK why but I have wanted to to an Ouran High School Host Club RP centered around the Hitachiin twins where one of them has cancer and is dying, so the crew helps them achieve their dream bucket list before kicking the bucket. If there are any takers, let me know in PM.

-Those are about the only two anime RPs I really feel up to doing. Perhaps Bleach? (Though I lost track after season 3). Future Diaries? And original Death Note RP with original characters.

-Pirates...
-Apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic themes...
-Angels and demons, judgement day...
-Aliens meets ancient astronaut theory...
-Gladiator-type games...
-Anything supernatural...
-Zombie invasion...
-Alien invasion...

-And I am not exactly sure why, but I love the (sad) beauty in dramatic tragedies and character deaths...
-I must admit...huge yaoi fan (boy x boy love). Do not like yuri (girl x girl love)...unless that girls name is Jennifer. FREAKING. Lawrence. Just sayin'...
-If it has a good plot, I will most likely like it...as long as it has strong character developments...

Are you still reading this? Then you deserve every cookie and cake in Georgy Porgy's bakery! I will get that order sent in right away!

Kaye felt tears brimming her eyes as she listened to the the story in silence. She hadn't expected something so intentionally despicable. For awhile she couldn't find her voice and settled with leaning over until her head rested on his shoulder before hugging him gently.
"I'm so sorry, Leith..."
Kaye frowned at seeing the pain and anger written in his eyes and reached her hand up to pat him on the shoulder, but stopped herself at the last minute. "The vault...something went wrong...didn't it?" It was barely audible.
"No, it's okay," Kaye said quickly. "I...am glad that I got the chance to learn more about you. But if it's difficult to talk about the vault, then I don't want want you to force yourself to. I don't want you to relive painful memories." She bit her lip in worry. Why was he deciding now of all times to tell her all of his?
Kaye remained silent for awhile as she drew the mental picture in her head. She smiled when it all came together, a young blond guy wearing a suit, standing outside his family's pink house as he walked up to greet his wife. Yeah...it was indeed a beautiful life that she imagined.
She then grew somber and frowned slightly, staring at the ground. "You have a beautiful life, Leith," she said, smiling slightly, though it held a tinge of sadness. "I wish I could have known you in a different time. Maybe we could have even been neighbors. I could have played with your daughter and taught her some mischief. Get into some trouble a bit, then you would get on to me and call my parents to scold me. You would tell us to never do it again, then we would turn around and do it just to spite you." She finally looked up at him again, smiling.
"Oh." Kaye blushed slightly in embarrassment and looked at the ground. She didn't know what else to say, but she wanted to keep hearing him talk about his past. "I don't want to hurt your feelings in any way and you don't have to answer, but...what did you look like? I bet you were handsome when you were my age..."
"Oh," Kaye muttered softly. "Atlanta...I thought that was the city under water or something like that where the lakelurks live?"
Kaye winced at that and felt guilty that her plan had failed. She remained silent for a long time, not knowing what to say. "Thing must have been better than they are now, though," she said, barely above a whisper. "People were happier back then, weren't they? I've read in a book once before from an old saying 'the grass is greener on the other side of the hill.' Was there a lot of green grass back then? It sounded beautiful."
Kaye fell silent for awhile after that. For a moment she had seen the closest to happiness she'd ever seen in Leith's eyes and now he was growing into the somber Leith again. She wanted to see him smile more, so tried changing the subject. "If it's okay to ask...what was life like before the war started? What was everyday life like?" For a moment she thought he was going to shut down because the train of conversation wouldn't be on his terms. She was beginning to wish she hadn't asked but was legitimately curious.
Kaye smiled throughout the whole story and laughed towards the end. "I can't imagine you living in a pink house, Leith, but I believe it. It sounds like a fairy tale coming right off the pages of a book. But what is a 'sitcom?'" She could imagine his impression vividly in her mind, but that one word could have painted a completely different scenario in her head that could make a difference in the portrait in her mind. She wanted picture it as perfectly as she could, how Leith's life had been, when he was happy. For once, she just wanted to see that smile on his face even if it was only an image of her mind.
"You didn't tell me much, but I know you had a family and lived in a vault for awhile. That's about it to be honest." Kaye's eyebrows furrowing slightly in confusion, not knowing what had suddenly brought this on. She was a little excited, though, despite trying to hide it. If he was in one of these moods to talk of his past, then she wanted to hear as much as he was willing to give because in all honesty, she really knew next to nothing about what made Leith into the man he had become.
