For the most part, there were no real problems to be found as Ayaka went around checking on the refugees. There was the occasional scared kid, however. It was usually because they had no idea what was going on or they somehow got separated from their parents. Neither one was too hard to attend to. As far as the adults were concerned, all seemed fine so far. Of course, she knew they were probably all worried and just not showing it. Some asked about food. There were even some who asked how long they would stay here, which to Ayaka is a question better asked when things settled down.
Ayaka saw that Lady Violetta held her hand up for her to stop and when she saw Mystique and the dragon, she understood why. The headmistress didn't wish for to interfere with this. She stood there and watched Mystique comforting the dragon until Lady Violetta asked her to go check on the refugees. Knowing she will be along soon enough, Ayaka went back downstairs where the refugees were. "Everyone ok?" she asked as she started a walk around on the floor to check on everyone.
Ayaka got all the animals in the sub basement. It looked like everyone was ok for the most part. She took a quick walk around to make sure none of the animals got hurt on they way here from the Village. "Well looks like their ok." Ayaka went back upstairs and thought of where everyone else might be. Sense she thought she heard what sounded like glass shattering earlier, Ayaka went up to the roof.
"No haven't seen either one." Of course a Griffon appeared just as she said that. Ayaka couldn't help but be slightly amused at the Griffon's seemingly 'all about me' attitude. Luckily, Lady Violetta came walking in with a cart sense Ayaka wasn't quite sure where to take the animals either. At least now she knew to take them to the sub basement. She called her own animals to her first and gave them each a treat for helping out. Dusk decided to jump in her arms wanting to be carried. "What's this all about? You don't usually want me to carry you," she said as she started guiding Titus' animals to the sub basement.

Well there's a certain baby Raicho chick sleeping in my spot. Ayaka rolled her eyes at the shadow cat's response. "No one said you and Mist can't share that spot, silly" I decided I don't feel like sharing it right now. Ayaka laughed at that. "Well leave it to a cat to be grumpy." Dusk looked down at Rikami and glared at the spot on the frost wolf's back where Mist was sleeping. "Honestly, you and you're moodiness. One minute you're getting along with everyone and the next you're annoyed at everyone..."

She wouldn't be Dusk if she weren't like that. Skye had chimed in before Dusk could say anything else. "Of course, she wouldn't be a cat otherwise." Ayaka agreed with Skye.

Ayaka was slightly arguing with her cat as she made sure all the animals got into the sub basement, though Skye's reply seemed to have stopped the argument for the time being.
Titus arrived soon after Ayaka got started with getting everyone upstairs. She was glad to see that he was ok and hopefully, his animals were too. "I'm trying to get everyone upstairs to the empty student floor where Mystique is waiting to guide them to various rooms. Your animals can probably go up there as well." She waited to see what he'd say.
@Aisling
I read it as well
Now that Mystique mentioned it, Ayaka thought she might have heard something as well. She had no idea how bad this earthquake was right now, but she didn't want to wait until things were worse. Mystique was right about needing to hurry. "Sure," Ayaka said as she hurried downstairs. She knew her pets would help out too. Once downstairs Ayaka took the leash off both Rikami and Dusk. "You guys don't mind helping out right? We need to send the creatures down here upstairs to the empty student floor. And Rikami, don't forget you have Mist with you."

Her dragon, shadow cat and frost wolf all three decided they'd help. Ayaka started doing as quickly as she was able.
The raicho Ayaka had gotten after her test was sitting on Rikami's back, so she didn't worry about him too much. She recently decided on naming him Mist. It seemed the bird was a lot calmer when he was with the other animals in the group right now, so Ayaka left him where he was. While waiting for Mystique, she made sure she had everything she may or may not need and went back in her room to grab whatever she found to be missing. By the time she felt ready to go downstairs, Mystique was coming out of her room as well. "Everyone ready to go downstairs?" she asked.
Ayaka followed the same path Mystique took. As soon as the two of them were on the bedroom floor, she went to straight to her room, knowing Mystique would be doing the same thing. She found all three of them were indeed freaked out. Trying to stay calm so they didn't get any more freaked out, Ayaka said, "It's ok guys." She put Rikami and Dusk on their leash and grabbed a leash for Skye just in case. After putting on her cloak, she walked out of her room with the three of them and waited for Mystique.
Ayaka was still working on her fireball. It took her a little while, but by the time Dar had come into the classroom announcing something about an earthquake she had managed to do it. Lady Violetta seemed calm about the whole thing though sure that the Academy would hold up during the earthquake. Under the circumstances, Ayaka was worried about her own pets. She knew creatures can sense things like this and figured they were probably freaked out. After the headmistress left she said, "I'm worried about Rikami, Skye, and Dusk."
