I just wanted to thank you all for your understanding and support while I grieve the recent loss of my youngest cousin. Its been a very difficult time for me and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all your kind words and support. I will try working on some stuff very soon, I just still need a little more time.

Again, thank you all
I have some stuff in the works as we speak, also I'll be putting up an interest check/recruitment drive to get this thing moving again

“Alright, who’s up first in the batting order?”

“I am.” Lyger replied to the Iron Knight as he roared into view of the other Guardians. The words had barely escaped his lips before he hit the throttle on his bike, sending him racing toward the incoming alien legion. With the press of a button on the grip, he unleashed a barrage of rubber bullets and the approaching hoard.

The sound of his bike's screeching tires, and the sudden volley of rubber bullets must have alarmed at least some of the invaders, as they seemed surprised by the lone figure's brazen attack. However, the sudden surprise did not appear to faze the teal skinned invaders, who immediately opened fire on the approaching threat. Lyger controlled his bike with almost preternatural reflexes, narrowly avoiding each laser blast.

As he drew closer to the legion of alien warriors, he unleashed another salvo of rubber bullets, this one proving as ineffective as the first. He weaved in and out as the aliens returned fire, dodging laser blast after laser blast. However, as he was straightening his approach, one of the laser bolts struck the front of his motorcycle just behind the front wheel. Within seconds, the super-heated plasma reached the bike's gas tank, causing it to burst into flames.

Lyger knew that he had to act fast. He hit the accelerator and rode the bike directly toward the aliens, then at the last second, he dove off of the bike, which sent the motorcycle careening into the alien legion, where it exploded, taking out a number of the advancing alien army with it. No sooner had the fireball subsided, leaving a trail of bodies and entrails in its wake, than had Lyger leaped and bounded toward the stunned invaders, striking and everything within reach with punches, kicks and elbows.

“Nice of you to join us.” came Radiance's voice over the secured comlink.

“Sorry, unlike the rest of you, I can't fly.” Lyger said as his elbow struck one of the teal skinned aliens under his jaw.

“Did he just make a joke?” came Icon's voice over the coms.

“Yeah, I think he made a joke.” Radiance replied as she and Icon made their way toward their comrad who was still fighting off a legion of aliens.

Having recovered from the violence of the explosion, the alien warriors surrounded Lyger. However, the black clad hero continued to fight. He hit one of the incoming aliens with a thunderous right hand before spinning around behind him, where he connected with a front thrust kick to the midsection of another. Then he jumped, and did a back flip to get a little separation, he fired a grapple line, which penetrated one of the alien soldiers' shoulder. Lyger then jumped up into the air, yanking the alien upward with him, then connecting with a flying kick to the ensnared alien's jaw.

However, no matter how hard he fought, the invaders just kept coming. In a matter of moments, the sheer number of alien invaders proved to be too much, and Lyger found himself overrun by the teal skinned aggressors. They scratched and clawed, they reached for him, and they grabbed him. Although he fought as hard as he could, within moments they had him, unable to fight, unable to move, barely able to breathe.

Although the effort seemed futile, Lyger still fought. However, he was unable to free himself from the grasp of his enemies. After what had felt like an eternity, but in reality was only several moments, Lyger felt something, a slight charge, almost the sensation you might get from sticking your tongue on a 9-Volt battery, yet the feeling washed over his entire body. Suddenly he was aware of a bright flash, and he found himself free from the invaders' grasp.

When Lyger looked up, he saw the forms of Radiance and Icon standing over him, Icon extending a hand. As Lyger took Icon's hand, he again found himself thankful to the upgrades that Echo had made to the suit, which surely protected him from Radiance's electrical discharge.

“Thanks.” Lyger said as Icon helped him to his feet. “How was the wedding?” he asked, already knowing the answer.

“Well...” Icon said as he motioned to the chaos going on around them.

“Right.-” Lyger said as he looked on the alien invaders who had recovered from Radiance's attack and had already began moving toward them. “Let's send these sons of bitches back to where they came from.”

“I programmed our communicators to locate one another,” Iron Knight explained over the intercoms, “but if you would prefer directions, I’m located 12 blocks west north-west of Lost Haven University. You can’t miss the mass of aliens clogging up the streets.”

Icon adjusted his trajectory slightly as Iron Knight's words rang in his ear. As he flew, he scanned the city, and for the first time in his life, he wished that he didn't have enhanced eyesight. The charred and burning husks of buildings, bodies strewn throughout the streets...the sheer destruction within the city was utterly devastating. Icon had to fight every instinct to stop what he was doing to search the rubble for survivors, to try to somehow comfort those on the ground.

But he couldn't. There simply wasn't time. From the sound of it, the invaders were amassing west-north-west of Lost Haven University, and he was needed there. So he pushed on toward the location that the Iron Knight had indicated was being overrun by invaders. As he approached the area that Iron Knight had indicated, he the scene he saw was dire. Iron Knight and Terra Firma were holding their own against the aliens, but there were just too many of them, and the heroes were in danger of being overrun.

However, when he saw a group of the attacking aliens break off from the main group and begin advancing toward a group of civilians, several of whom were children, who were trying to get away from the carnage, his blood began to boil.

“I don't think so.” he said to himself as he again slightly adjusted his course and accelerated toward the aliens. Icon crashed into the street between the invaders and the civilians, the impacted buckled the concrete and sent a shock wave that sent the aliens flying backwards, leaving them sprawled out on the fractured pavement.

“Go now.” Icon said to the civilians, pointing north them to the north, which from what he saw was relatively clear of the alien threat.

“Well, that's one way to make an entrance.” said a familiar voice from behind.

“Alexa...” Icon said softly. He had been so focused of fighting of the invading aliens he hadn't had the time to check in on her, or anyone else for that matter.

“You know, this...-” she said, waving her arms at the chaos unfolding around them. “-is not how I thought I'd be spending my wedding day.”

“Tell me about it.” Icon said as he unleashed an optic blast which struck a larger alien square in the chest, toppling it.

“I think it's time we joined the rest of the party.” Radiance said with a grin as she nodded toward Iron Knight and Terra Firma, who were still fighting off the invaders near them.

Icon nodded in agreement as the pair began making their way toward their allies, putting down alien attackers as they tried to overpower the duo. Icon and Radiance pressed toward their friends, beating back the invading horde as they inched closer and closer, until, finally, they joined the other Guardians in the center of the street.

"About time the cavalry arrives. Now let's show these aliens why we call ourselves the Guardians!"

“Sorry, we were kind of busy.” Radiance said with a smirk, “But I like your way of thinking. It's time to send these E.T.'s home.”

However, the levity did not last. There was a sudden rumbling which seemed to shake the very ground they stood on.

“That's not good.” Icon said as the rumbling grew louder. After several moments, they saw the cause of the commotion: A massive armored vehicle which stood about three stories tall, which looked like some sort of futuristic tank with a quartet of turrets which were spaced out across the top of the vehicle. A lone figure stood atop the tank. He was adorned in black and purple body armor, and a half mask hid his face from the neck up to his eyes, his long black hair hung down the front of his face, hiding the rest of his features. The tank itself was flanked by an entire legion of black clad aliens.

“Yeah, really not good.” Radiance said as the enemy force advanced on them.

Admiral Kava sat alone in the darkness of her personal quarters. Her eyes were closed as she focused on her breathing, she had long since cleared her mind of any thoughts that may distract her from the taskat hand. She had long heard stories of how the Jedi had used meditation to clear their minds and regain focus, and though when she was younger, she thought the idea was silly, she eventually learned that the technique was indeed useful.

She found that after clearing her mind, and focusing solely on the task at hand, she was able to visualize that task in great detail. She was able to determine the optimal placement of both ships and troops, and as she developed her skills, she learned that she could anticipate what her opponent may do as well. It had become a useful tool over time, and it had proven to be more reliable than ego, or sheer luck, which unfortunately, some of her contemporaries had become far too reliant on in recent years.

“zzztk Mistress Kava, the Lord Imperius is waiting for you on the secure com channel.” Beeone's voice crackled through her personal com. Kava's crimson eyes opened in slits as she released a deep breath in frustration. She hated being interrupted while she was planning an operation, particularly when that interruption came from a bureaucrat who served more as a figurehead and with any luck, would soon outlive his usefulness.

“Very well. I'll take it here.” She said as she got to her feet and turned on the lights within the room. She then went over to a table in the center of the room and activated the holo projector. As the holo projector turned on, a blue-white image of Koren Ozzel filled the spacein front of her.

“Lord Imperius.” Kava greeted her superior.

“Admiral.-” The image of Ozzel regarded her with a slight bow of his head. “Do you have an update on our little problem?”

“Indeed, Lord Imperius. Thrax will no longer threaten our alliance. He and his forces have been returned to the scrap heap from which they came. Kava assured Ozzel.

“Very good.” Ozzel said, his face betraying his surprise if only for an instant. “However, unexpected.”

“Lord Ozzel, perhaps it is time to begin preparations for a more...significant operation.” Kava said, ignoring Ozzel's comment.

“Ah yes, of course. With the threat of Thrax eliminated, I suppose now is as good a time as ready. You may begin preparations to retake the Kuat shipyards. Keep me informed of your progress.”

“As you wish, Lord Ozzel.” Kava said as the image of the Lord Imperius vanished from before her.

Kava stood alone in her quarters for a moment, a smile began to cross her face as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her com.

“Captain Bryce, get me the Blackstar, tell Jade that now is the time.”
posts coming. Gonna get this thing moving again. I'm also planning to do a recruitment drive in the coming days
So, before a CS is put into the Character Tab it needs to go here first for approval. @draconiwarlord
Character you have created: SERA mk 7

Alias: None

Speech Color: lawngreen

Character Alignment: TBD

Identity: No public presence as yet.

Character Personality: Simulated personality is...difficult. While Dr. Anderson did what he could, a lot of pieces of personality from the program are missing. Much of this is due to the fact that SERA, while possessing an incredibly powerful mind and an ability to learn things at speeds almost unimaginable to humans, has no life experience, and thus has nothing to base a personality on. The previous models had pre-programmed personalities meant to be servile to humans, and this was part of the problem in their creation. To avoid this, SERA mk 7 has no pre-programmed facets except her one directive to help the Doctor.

Uniform/costume: Whatever she wants to wear.

Origin Info/Details: SERA is the seventh version of her operating system, and the first successful model. Her creator, Gerry Anderson, thought it was a good idea to design an android capable of independent thought and creativity, housed in a shell that could be used for anything from protecting people during combat to search and rescue, research assistance to companionship. To this end, he not only designed an artificial intelligence from scratch, but pushed computer hardware and software well beyond limits his contemporaries thought impossible to overcome. SERA is programmed around a composite imaging of several brainwave patterns, and housed in one of the most advanced autonomous robotic bodies in the world.

The original six versions never made it out of the software stage, their programming becoming unstable and bug-ridden well before then. Number seven, however , while showing errors, also managed to self-correct those errors. The number of knowledge bases Dr. Anderson had added to the memory system had contained enough skill to do so, but that same capability had terrified Anderson. He installed the system in the body, then shut it down and locked it away, adding a key that would activate the thing only in case of extreme emergency.

SERA wis now waking up due to emergency protocols, but what she might find upon her release is up to fate...

Hero Type: Other: Android

Power Level: World/City

Powers:
Multi-processor – SERA runs on a eighty-three core quantum computing processing unit, with superconducting materials and supercooling to prevent problems, stored in her chest. This CPU allows her to think and process things faster than most people can imagine, and gives her plenty of room to devote to subroutines and programs if she needs to.

Internet access - While she doesn't have an internal ISP, she has a state-of-the-art wifi receiver and can brute force her way into most civilian networks in seconds from a considerable distance.

Knowledge base – With upgradeable storage and a link to her server in the lab, she can pretty much learn whatever she wants in the amount of time it takes to download and/or install it. While this doesn't give her access to some things, like expertise in any skill or improvisational abilities, it is a considerable resource, and getting better as more people upload lessons on things around the world.

High power – SERA has an internal generator tied to the actuators in her body, constantly generating small amounts power through regenerative friction capture. This means heat energy generated through friction of her moving parts is recaptured and funneled to a pair of ultrahigh capacity lithium ion batteries. In addition, there is a tiny fusion generator powered by air intake. This generates small amounts of non-radioactive water which can either be ejected or used in her coolant system if it needs replenishing.

Semi-realistic body – The android's skin is made of millions of hexagonal plates. These plates are mounted on multipurpose sensors tied to pressure, heat, and air pressure, allowing SERA to have a relatively similar sensory input to normal humans. These can be adjusted in her software to give her superhuman senses, as well. A small amount of photo-voltaic storage in these plates allows her to simulate body heat, but any sort of examination more than a cursory brushing or touch will reveal their nature.

Rescue systems – The alloyed bones of the body are capable of holding up several tons without a problem, and small mechanisms in the hands can allow them to telescope out to help support an area of around ten feet. An internal tank of oxygen is attached to two stored breath masks in the abdominal area, which also has a small tank of fire-retardant chemicals. The right thigh is equipped with a small heater and stores a thermal blanket. The left forearm has a gas-propelled grappling hook with a thin one-hundred and fifty foot cable and powered winch.

Combat systems – The right forearm is equipped with a small flamethrower and a three million volt rechargeable taser system. Right shoulder can open to expose a small, high-powered plasma cannon that can fire three bolts before needing recharging. The recharging system is a series of pressurized air intake valves along the upper arms capable of generating plasma, which can also be discharged out of the palms in a very short range blast. The taser can also be redirected across the skin. The eyes are capable of generating small laser beams, but cannot see while doing so as it requires reversing the direction of the internal lenses. All joints can be unlocked ,reducing structural capacity but allowing them to rotate freely in almost any direction. The skin plates are capable of stopping anything short of anti-armour rounds.

(note: The plasma bolt system can be overcharged, generating massive blasts of plasma and coating the body in a cloud of burning gas. This can damage the body if pushed too high, but is sustainable for short periods. It does, however, require a software override to accomplish, and severely taxes the cooling system.)

Sensory Equipment – Sera's eyes are capable of picking up visual traces of chemical residue, ultraviolet, infrared, nightvision, 400x magnification, light filtering, and electromagnetic waves. The microphones in the ears are sensitive enough to pick up clothing ruffling at over a hundred yards, but are usually tuned far below this level for safety reasons. Chemical receptors in the nose are superfluous, most receptors are along the skin, and are as sensitive as a canine's.

Phoenix Protocol – To protect such an extremely important investment, SERA is equipped with a periodic satellite uplink module. This system will upload to a specially designed satellite system and save the current program record once per day. If for any reason the storage system in her body is wiped, this system will enable her to download back in. If the uplink fails more than twice in a row, the system will automatically instead download her to the lab, and a safety system will delete the current copy in the body to prevent any sort of clever workarounds. In addition, tampering with any internal systems without the correct encryption key put into the I/O port in her chestor in the event of the safety system deleting the AI, a self-destruct sequence will cause the body to ignite a bundle of thermite and slag itself immediately.

Attributes (Select one at each category):
Height: 165 cm (5'5”)
Weight: 635 kg (1400 lbs)
Strength Level: maximum lift over head of 50 metric tons
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Can move at nearly the speed of sound, and reacts much faster
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: undefined
Agility: Can literally bend all limbs any way she wishes.
Intelligence: Smarter than you. Yes, even you.
Fighting Skill: undefined
Resources:
No financial resources, but has access to all materials necessary for repairs and the lab itself.

Weaknesses:
-The weight of her body, moving at the speeds she's capable of, make turning difficult. As such, at high velocity she is more like a wrecking ball.
-While an EMP won't wipe out her central storage unit where the AI is stored, it will completely disable all of the external systems, essentially turning Sera into a giant thinking paperweight until she can be repaired. This would also disable her upload link for at least a few minutes while it reboots.
-If trapped without a satellite uplink, the current version of Sera will die in two days
-While her program is built around human brainwave patterns, Sera is not human, and cannot follow things like sentiment. While aware of these sorts of things and able to plan around them, the computer is still a computer. Appealing to anything but logic is likely to fail.
-This system is notAasimovian, and does not have a lawset like people expect. This will most likely cause many to be terrified of it, given its nature.
