Even companies like Netflix are against the removal of net neutrality. Why did it get voted out? Political bullshit. They know what would have happened if they put it to a public vote.

Two older guys are sitting in Starbucks next to me, loudly insulting their frugal friend for his small TV and the fact that he doesn't eat take out. People are stupid.

Things didn't go quite the way that Natsu had thought it would. His former client hadn't reacted with laughter, or violence, or in any of the ways he had expected. Instead he had felt those strong muscles tense up. She stood there, stiff and silence for a long moment, before responsing with an awkward 'thanks'. Somebody got a kick out of it however, Natsu heard laughter coming from the people around them. Most of which had stopped what they were doing to stare. It's a good thing that Natsu didn't get embarrassed anymore. Shaking your ass on stage while wearing women's lingerie tended to do that to you.

Natsu released the poor woman and stepped so that he was now in front of her, chuckling as he did. "I'm sorry my dear, my intention was to tease you, not make you uncomfortable. Though I'm glad someone got some amusement out of it." He said, light blue eyes sweeping around to try and find the owner of the voice. His eyes set on a figure he hadn't been expecting to see, since classes at the ninja academy should have been starting soon.

Mikio-Sensei, a man that Natsu as a child had hated but now had a great amount of respect for. Back when he had been more interested in dancing than being a ninja, he had disliked the man and his lessons. But those lessons had saved his life more than once. Natsu offered the man a flirtatious smile before his attention returned to the woman he had just unintentionally embarrassed.

The prostitute put a hand on his own chest. "My name is Natsu, or as you might remember me better by, Aoi Bara. I remember many things about you my dear, but I'm afraid your name isn't one of them." Natsu rarely remembered the names of clients, unless they were regulars of course, he had so many customers that were passing through and he only saw once. It would be hard to remember all their names. The energy from that task could have been much better spent in a number of other areas.
Sorry! I've been so busy trying to get my house ready to put on the market that I've been too tired to write any good responses. I'm at work all day today, which ironically means I'll have time to catch up, because there's a lot of down time in my job.
As soon as the boy bolted past the guards, making them sufficiently distracted, Emara was on the move. She jumped from the tree to the wall of the manor, crouching there for a moment before dropping to the ground. She wanted to stay high, nobody ever looked up after all, but she had to go low to get inside the door. The hooded thief ran to the door and kept going, footsteps almost completely silent. From there, the decorations covering the wall were an easy way up to a thief's best friend, the support beams. Fancy houses like this needed them due to the way they were built, unintentionally making them easy targets for anybody with any skill in the art of thieving.

The sure footed girl moved quickly across the top staying behind the boy, close enough that if things went south, she could use a surprise attack. Her left hand stayed on the hilt of the dagger she wore at her hip. She knew that she had to save the girl, but at the same time, something told her that they were both important and she shouldn't let the boy die either. It would be easy to do though, she had relations to this boy, leaving him here to die while she went to rescue Katherine wouldn't bother her in the slightest. But she just had this weird feeling that they both needed to stay alive.
I should have time today. If all goes well. If not hopefully tomorrow.
Moments after asking the archers to return fire, give them a chance to escape, the Knight of Wind lost the initial respect that Telius had for everyone before he got to the know them. Instead of simply saying that her weapons didn't have the range for it and ending it there, she rushed off as if alone she could actually do anything. "What the fuck are you doing!" He called after her, but she was already gone. Telius absolutely never swore, swearing was for people who couldn't come up with a more clever response. In this case, it just seemed to suit the situation well.

Mira attempted to return fire alone, using some sort of magic to do so. As she did, Telius felt strange. There was nothing unpleasant or seemingly harmful about it. If anything, it was exhilarating. It was short lived tnough, Mira only got the chance to fire off one or two arrows before a lucky shot caught her in the shoulder. Telius called it lucky because he wasn't sure if the enemy could even see them or not, and because it could have hit something much worse than shoulder. Shoulders healed relatively easily, only body parts did not.

The Knight of Metal offered a plan, a way for them to escape. A plan that turned Telius' stomach. He didn't like it at all, but if that was their only choice then he'd go with it. The use of corpses was completely and utterly wrong though. The Knight of Fire liked it as little as he did, and offered the use of her armor instead. It was the Knight of Earth who offered a better solution. With an impressive show of strength, he kicked, then pried, the entire side of the wagon off, ordering the Knight of Fire to use it as a shield.

The Knight of Earth then ordered Telius to help Mira, which he would have done anyway. It was his fault she got hit after all, though he put just as such blame on the Knight of Wind. He bristled slightly at the last comment of don't remove the arrow. What did they take him for, an idiot? Of course they did, he was a noble, what could he possibly know about battle? He was better than making a comment though and held his tongue. Instead he did exactly what he had been planning on doing anyway. He gentle grabbed hold of Mira's good arm, and slung it across his shoulders, his free hand he slid around behind her and placed it a polite distance above her hip. "Lean on me as much as you need, I've supported far heavier people than you." He said, giving her a reassuring smile.
Still here. I'll be moving to another state soon, which means getting the house ready to be put on the market and all the crap that involves. I've been getting posts out much slower because of this.
I hope you guys aren't waiting on me to post. I figured I'd wait, since there really isn't much for Emara to do right now.
Telius saw the unpleasant looks from several of the other Knights after he introduced themselves. He had expected some of this, those of common birth tended to judge his kind rather quickly. Some nobles certainly deserved the hate, just as some common folk did. Telius found the judgement to be irritating, but politely held his tongue. He had found that responding to the common folk, telling them that by judging him like they did they were stooping to the level of the nobles they so hated, the hate tended to grow worse. They grew angry because he was right.

The next to introduce themselves was the Knight of Arcane Spirit, Mira Bellwood. The lady took a seat next to Telius, and once again he felt strangely drawn to her, and her fox, Fayla. As she sat down next to him, he felt a strange sensation in his chest. The burning desire to aid her, to keep her safe. Telius had no idea why. Perhaps it was because she shared some similarities with the second youngest of his sisters. Sort of the black sheep of the familly with their mother's brown hair, rather than the crimson of their father.

Telius sat quietly as each Knight introduced themselves and took a seat on the wagon. As the last Knight stepped on, the wagon lurched foward, and so did the Knight, pitching forward to reveal seven arrows embedded in his back. Dead. The Knight of Light revealed his inexperience by staying where he was, covering his head as if that would protect him from the arrows. Instinct kicked in for the noble however. He slid off his seat and crouched on the floor, making himself a smaller target. As he did, he gently grabbed hold of Miss Bellwood's wrist and pulled her down too. Then, reaching across the wagon, and risking the bite of the wolf, he did the same to Leonidas.

The noble nodded in agreement when the small man in heavy armor shouted that they needed to get out of the ambush. "Agreed, both moving away from the wagon and staying inside have their risks, but I'd rather take my chances out in the open. At least for me, the chances of survival are higher." Crimson eyes scanned his companions, trying to formulate some sort of plan. He was sure there were other leaders among the Knights, and is they came up with a better plan than he, Telius would gladly yield to their lead. "Miss Bellwood, Miss Frei, can you return fire? It may distract them enough to allow us to get away from the wagon without too much risk."
XD that's one way to get rid of him.
It looked like this was one of those times where Emara's recklessness paid off. It turned out that it was the same guy that Lord Creep had sent away. Now he was pissed, Emara could see that clearly. At least now she had an ally, even if that rage wasn't exactly a good thing. The boy asked Emara to stay out of sight and free the pretty girl, Katherine apparently, while he cleared a path. She responded with a nod and a lopsided grin. She would stick to her strengths, he could stick to his.

Emara was just about to move to the side and slip into hiding when he continued speaking. Someone asked the boy to watch over her? "Father?" She muttered softly, but shortly afterwards shook her head. Right now she needed to focus. As the boy charged the guards at the door, Emara dove to the side, crouching behind a tree so that the guards didn't accidentally see her. The thief pulled her hood back up in place where it belonged. For a moment she didn't move, watching the boy and the guards to make sure nobody was looking toward her. Then she rose from her crouch and jumped, grabbing hold of the lowest hanging branch. It wasn't long before she was in the tree, watching the boy from the cover of the leaves.

Already the thief was planning how to get back inside. There were some problems this time that she hadn't had to worry about before. The first being that the guards were going to be on high alert. The second being that she had someone to watch out for, who was also watching out for her. Then there was the matter of the freeing Katherine. Emara didn't even know what room she was being held in. To check them all would take time. Hopefully the boy knew what he was doing, otherwise they would be in for one heck of a battle.
