Are the other pokemon in the cave Hex and Josh? Or are you guys too deep into the cave to see them?
I know that feel.
Before I submitted my current character, I so many character ideas I just wanted to follow through. I decided to just stick with a Combee, though, since I like Vespiquen.
"Uh.. I think I should probably let you know my only damaging move right now is Gust. I can do Sweet Scent, I guess, if you want to attract some more pokemon to defeat." Hex explained, flying into the cave. "Gust is good if you want to flee. Not so great if you want to fight, since I don't get to fight often. Most of my Beedrill just do it for me."

The entrance was surrounded by clusters of different, small pokemon. A couple of Kabuto peppered about, with some Shellos sliding around on the floor. A couple of stalagmites hung loosely on the ceiling, with droplets of water sliding off the slick surface. Cluttering the area were the Tympole. There they were, soaking themselves in puddles and mud. Kind of disgusting and fascinating. "Alright, so this is going to be a quick mission, right? In and out." She asked Josh, looking around the dark area. "This place feels.. damp."
"Hm? A team?" She asked, looking at Josh. "Sure. That sounds pretty good."

Hex glanced at what was floating in the air. Her first mission! It looked relatively easy, compared to what some of the other missions were. Some Emolga needed some saving up in Beach Cave. Get in, get out, save the day. Easy enough. She paused for a moment, noticing the silver ring on Josh's forehead was glowing. It gave off an aura of psychic. Hex just assumed it was for decoration.

"Wait." Hex said, looking at the ring. "You're psychic? Are you holding that up in the air? I thought that was Matt." She glanced at both Matt and Josh. They seemed to know each other well, even if she just met them. Matt didn't seem the least bit surprised to see it.
Procrastination brothers, unite!
"Heya. I'm Hex. Nice to meet you." She said, before turning to Arnold.

Hex visibly struggled under the weight of all the items that had just been dumped onto the small combee. "Erm.." She said, her wings working hard to keep her floating. "Do you have these in a.. smaller size?" Arnold shifted about uncomfortably.

"Well.. those are kind of the smallest size." He explained. "I don't think we can get another set made. Can we get another set made? I think we can get another set made."

"Maybe. It'll have to be very small for her. Or she could keep the current set so that when she evolves, it'll fit perfectly." Archie replied, flying about the small Combee.

"Alrighty! So you can keep all that stuff to lug around! You know, when I was young, I once had to lug around about 4 of those satchels.." Arnold trailed off into the story, wildly gesturing about with his hands.

"He gets like this sometimes." Archie explained, trying to pull Arnold away fm the rest of them. "You're free to go and explore. Try to be careful, and don't mess up."

Hex nodded, and fluttered out of the guild room. "Now I just need to find a team.." She muttered.
"Heh heh. Look at 'er. Looks like she just came fresh outta the hive." A Diglett commented, watching as Hex flew right by him. "She's in for a wild ride."

She ignored the comments of the comments of the pokemon. What did they know? She was ready. She could take on anything! She could- woah, woah! Hex nearly bumped into a passing Pidgeotto, and then almost straight into a Goomy. Not quite as busy as the hive was, but at least there, all the pokemon were the same size. Here there were pokemon ranging from Sunkern to Garchomp, and they were all hurrying to get somewhere and do something. The second order of business was to find the guild leader. According to the top of the guild, it was probably an Audino, so she had to keep an eye out for one. They weren't too hard to miss. Tall, a bit fat, pink, with blue eyes. A bit dopey sometimes, but produce some very alluring sounds. She traversed the guild for a bit. It was even worse in terms of navigation. She couldn't tell left from right at one point. Eventually, she finally spotted him. He was walking off, followed by an Archen. Trailing the two was a Reuniclus, and a.. Skrelp?

She approached the Audino. "H-hi, sir. I'd like to enter your guild." She said, working up some confidence. She was surprised at how weak her voice sounded. "I mean, I'd like to enter, and become an explorer." She said, with a bit more steel in her voice.

Arnold turned to them! "Oh! Hello! You're here for the guild, huh?"

Archie nodded. "Of course. You can follow us." Hex nodded, and drifted beside the Skrelp.
"Uh.. uh.. uh.."

Hex's transparent wings fluttered furiously. While the trip from the Birchwood Forest to Allure Town was not great, it certainly did a number on the small combee, who had barely flown more than a couple feet before being carried on by her drones. She was almost to the town now. She had it in her sights. The Beedrill would be coming after her, but she had the head start, and hopefully she could get away before they arrived. Underneath her, Hex began to spot weary travelers and explorers straying about on the dirt road, talking among themselves. Ranging from Squirtles to Goomy, there were so many different varieties! Finally, Hex came across a large tree adorned by fluffy green leaves, and decided to rest there. She slowly fluttered onto a nearby branch, and got her first good look at Allure Town.

The town was laid out almost exactly as she imagined it. She had heard descriptions and roughly sketched maps from her scouts, but the town was amazing. It was huge in comparison to the hive, and it looked like it had countless residents! The sheer size was breathtaking. "Hah!.. I.. should've left.. a loongg time ago!" She said, still panting from the trip. In reality, the town wasn't exactly a wonderland. But to Hex, who had lived her whole life in a hive, it was colossal. A couple of small explorers under her shot the breathless combee a glance, but otherwise, she was completely incognito. She slowly fluttered into Allure Town. Well, it wasn't quite as big as she thought it was. Most pokemon tended to stick to themselves and their own lives rather than chatting with strangers.

There, way over there. She spotted it. The guild. It seemed a bit weird to her how the guild had a structure shaped exactly like an Audino on the top of it, but she ignored it for the time being. First things first; she had to stand on top of the wooden grate, if she could find it. She knew the process. Hex drifted to the guild, using her wings to give her an extra boost, and fluttered above the grate, waiting for it to open. Several minutes passed. Several more minutes passed.

"Hello?!" She yelled, looking down past the crisscrossing wooden structure.
"Huh? Oh? What?" A voice asked.
"I'm here to enter the guild."
"Oh, um.. you got any feet? Like.. could you stop flying?"
Hex landed on the ground, her wings shuttering to a stop.
"Um.. Diglett.. detected?"
"NO! I'm a Combee!"
"Oh, yeah, of course. Clearly. Hey, Joe, get a load of this one." The pokemon whispered to another.

The grate slid open, and Hex fluttered down the carved out tunnel to the guild.

Bio: Every day. Every day, Hex has to go through the same routine. From sunrise to sunset. It first begins in the morning, deep in Birchwood Forest, when she's swarmed by countless males offering her fresh berries and honey in the hive. It's simple just to gust them away, but the "oh-so-mighty" queen doesn't like her drones being swept far away into the forest, so she just has to push through and deny any attempts to swoon her. After finally making it past the drones, she checks on the defenders of the hive outside, the Beedrill, who are even worse then the drones. Constantly complaining about the conditions, buzzing, swinging around their stingers, when they don't even belong with them. Hex knows her mother just keeps them around for the purpose of protection. And then she has to talk to the captain of them, about reports, recent attacks, work conditions. The captain' snot too bad, but yells at everyone but her. After that dilemma, it's usually about lunch time.

Hex travels inside the hive, where all the defenders and drones of the hive are mulling about, munching on berry jam. Hex has to flutter by the queen when eating to signify she's royalty. Which is a total pain, considering her mother is always surrounded by her adoring subjects, and she has to listen to every single compliment they have to throw at her. After that lunch ordeal, the young Combee has to follow her mother all the way through Birchwood Forest, to have a meeting with some allies about property and defense and attacks. Hex is forced to sit through it all. Being a "princess," she doesn't have a say in anything. When it finally ends, she has to travel back to the hive, which is all the way on the other end of the forest. Then she finally gets her one moment of peace throughout the entire day. Without it, she'd probably go insane. Hex sits alone in her room, the royal quarters. Her dinner's delivered to her, and she can eat peaceful, and think.

Hex can think about freedom. About how she wants to escape from the same painful route every day. About how boring and uninteresting it is to go throughout her entire day. Even now, thinking about it to herself, she just wants to snore. Hex craved a different life. She didn't want to evolve to be the boring queen, who sat on her throne each day, getting fatter and fatter and passing dumb laws. She wanted action! Adventure! And the rangers, oh, the rangers. They occasionally passed through the forest, and she'd always look at them as they went along their way to fight evil and save the day. While Hex wasn't strong, she knew that one day she could fight alongside them. Join a team, get a badge, and fly free in the skies. To be one of them. But she didn't want that life of adventure soon. She wanted it now. Hex began to formulate a plan to escape the prison of the hive. How to escape the eternal torment of her every day. And the Combee princess knew just how to do it.

It started early in the morning. Much earlier. None of the drones were awake, but some defenders were still buzzing about. A small shaft of early morning light drifted in through a small chip in the wall. Her first taste of freedom. And so, Hex put her plan into action.

"Help! Please!" Hex yelled, her voice echoing down the halls. The Beedrill would be soon rushing in to save her, like the white knights they were. "Someone!"

The young Combee lowered herself into a small bowl of honey from dinner last night. She slathered herself in the junk. She usually saw the drones covered in honey after making it, so hopefully they wouldn't be paying enough attention to see through the honey and at the red mark. The princess slowly drifted into the hall and down the twisting tunnels of the hive. On her way, multiple defenders rushed past her, down to her room, paying her no mind. She had a limited amount of time until they realized the princess had left, so-

"THE PRINCESS!" A voice buzzed down from the hallway. "SHE'S GONE!" Okay, maybe less time. She stopped slowly drifting down the hall and furiously fluttered down it, using all the ability in her delicate wings. She could hear the Beedrill buzzing from down the hall, flying hurriedly through each room, looking for her. There, the entrance! She saw it! She just.. She just..

Hex flew through the exit of the hive. It was attached to a huge tree in Birchwood Forest, under a thick canopy of leaves. And so she flew. She flew, far away. To Allure Town, to become a ranger, and to evolve and grow stronger than the queen. She was becoming quickly exhausted due to the little power in her wings, but she forged ahead. And off to Allure Town she went.

Appearance:
Differences: A common ability passed down in Hex's royal generation is Shed Skin, which she can now use, even if it is kind of gross.

Welp, here it is. Kind of like the idea of this character. Not sure if everyone would agree with a hive for Combee in Birchwood, though.
Heya, I'm Noire. Also known as Light_Breeze. Or Soap_Box. Or Noire_Box. Or Rusty_Gear. I probably have about 10 different usernames I'm currently cycling through. Anyway-

Time to tell you a little bit about myself! Eh.. people seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. Years later, a doctor will tell me that I have an I.Q. of 48 and am what some people call "mentally retarded."

Hope to RP with some of you guys and gals soon. Got a bit of experience under my belt since the last time I RPed, so I hopefully shouldn't be posting one-liners or anything like that. Hope to have a lot of fun around here!
