Janet

Janet stuffed her remaining spears back into her backpack. A person like her wouldn't understand what that man was talking about, but she've gotten the fact that they weren't traitors, in a way.

"Filler? Story?" The tone of speech from that red-eyed girl was too refined and perculiar for a mere pirate. It was the same familiar demeanor of speech that she'd often heard as a child. "Fancy you wasting your time under those boring storybooks, 'High Lady' Musashi."

Janet finished her sentence with a sarcastic sneer. The corner of her eye caught sight of Saki, "Wait... you're that girl from the Marine Ship..."
"Alright alright I understand, chill m'lady~" Bertol responded to the orders from the purpled haired girl, Anemone. He scurried to the ship edge, crossing back to his own ship with his grasp on his moon-shaped materia. His flow of magic of Earth was fully charged up, the materia with a glow that shone as brightly as the sun.

Goblins? Bertol was baffled to see goblins that invaded the ship deck. He had thought the group of sea mercenaries was strong and reliable enough not to let such a thing happen. But its a good thing that he had his magical quickcast ready at any moment, as the glow inside his right hand flickered away. A round boulder was churned out above the goblins, as it crashed a sizable chunk of them into green goo & splinters. "Sorry about that, got caught in a skirmish with a Dwarf..." He stated regrettably to his captain.
Klaus

Klaus was surprised to learn that the Knights will be splitting into two fronts. She wasn't expecting something like this because the black haired lady seemed dangerous, especially when she herself wasn't on what she was fully capable of doing. Guess that applies for me solely, I know as much of magic as the orcs...

"The Faeries have been sent to spy on dark lady," Klaus made the brief report to her captain, before turning away for her duty at Brennan.

The crowd of people around the Knights was too much for her to deal with personally. "Have the walls been repaired yet? There might be another orc raid, and we still haven't figured on how they've made the long trip undetected." She approached the soldiers, donning on her grey cloak.

"As long as the walls are properly manned, and noncombatants to move to the keep in an event of a siege, the city wouldn't have any problems in facing a normal orc raid." What she said was of the usual as a former mercenary. Its just that orcs appearing in a place like Brennan was not normal to begin with. As uncertain as she was about the possible oncoming battle, she'll have to fight those orcs in the way that she was used to fighting far from the Capital.
... I will be honest, 1 year is a very long time for a senile old woman like me to forget everything ^^; ......

I was actually surprised when there's still activity in the OOC...

If you're to other sites, I guess I shall politely decline...

Still I've my interests in the thread, I'll be formally dropping off from this thread once again. Nevertheless, I would be happy to rejoin if there's another reboot, and I won't mind if I had to be the GM. So thanks for the thread once again, bye ^^; ...
Janet found that fact rather odd, she'd thought they would fight to the very last man. Perhaps the battle at the Frozen Saint have given her the wrong idea of a battle. Now to think about it, the marines don't look alike, not like those giants. "No thanks," Janet kicked off a small explosion around her heels, getting back to the pirate ship in one leap of her Burst Steps.

She glared at a familiar face emerging from the ship deck, those two people who apparently tried to sell them out. "Damned traitors, Spear Barrage," A bundle of spears flashed out from the backpack, sending it to the marine ship without hesitation. The bright morning sun casted shadows over the Marine Ship, with the full intention of seeing that Marine Ship sink to the sea bed, now that it has been severed from the pirate ship..
"That was surprising, this is a good-tempered one..." Bertol tightened his grasp on the Moon Materia, letting magic gather around his wrist. He interrupted his cast when a purple haired girl told him to go back. What was her name? Right, Anemone. He then found himself nearby of another girl actually bit goblins alive. Putting himself a few paces back from the girls, he maintained a few flows of his magic as he harnessed his wooden staff again with his other free hand.

A giant Orc, emerging from the door that the Dwarf escaped into. "That bloody pig, selling his soul to the Dark." Bertol had whispered out a dozen more curses. A fist of rock churned out from his side, as it went pummeling towards the beast.
Klaus

Nothing... Klaus stuffed on her loaf of bread frustratedly, turning away from the city gates as she found nobody of any resemblance to the black haired girl. On her way back, she tried to convince herself that not all childrens are the same as Sir Tyaethe. "By now, they would've been finished with that stupid Earl," She muttered to herself, not bothering if her words could be heard.

Looking at how there aren't any gossips bad enough to catch her attention, it seemed to her that the dispelling of Dark Magic was going well, "for now." Now to mention about the Dark Arts, she pondered on whether the faeries that she sent to spy on the black dressed lady have caught up to her. Leaving the courtyard wasn't for naught, she had had difficulties trusting that place, on whether there are remains of magic that could eavesdrop the conversations. She shall withhold her field report on the faeries, until the Knights set out for the Dark Lady.

Janet

"Nothing," Janet tapped away the dust off her forearms. "That red eyed girl dragged me here on her own accord." She snorted, letting off a glare at Musashi.

It was that white haired girl who sent her into an less favourable ground of battle. After all, she wasn't so good at close combat, and had wasted a good spear for a skirmish.

With a smothering fireball on the heels, Janet leapt up, landing on the ship deck with fair grace. Retying her red scarf, she asked, "The marines are retreating?"
