Jeanette

A small sloop approaches the Harbour of the Brown Isles. The evening sunset glittered on a barren hill, tall grass and thickets of shrubs was gathered along the coast. Swampy trees and marshes grew on the uneven lands beyond the coastal village, as seagulls frolicked along the wooden pier. Various fishing boats were moored along the harbour, fishing boats without nets...? The flags of the oversized fishing boats fluttered under the strong coastal winds, and one of those improperly-covered flags have shown a trail of black and white skull. Pirates.

Even at this distance, Jeanette could make out dozens of possible hiding spots. A perfect place for even pirates like them to avoid the Marines' notice. Right beside the Harbour, the cobblestone streets of Brown Isles is a lively one, with vendors peddling their wares, various people of bandanas, dull grey shirt and cutlass trying to bargain at some stalls. The largest building was the local bar, with the number of those 'fishing boats', Jeanette was surprised that a pub like this would be still intact.

She leaned at the railings as the ship inched closer towards the pier. Disembarking, Jeanette headed for the bar.

"One plate of fish & chips, if you'd excuse me..." Jeanette spoke gruntingly at the waiter. Just when she thought the bar that she'd blew up on another island was bad enough, this one takes the cake. A noisy building full of pirates of different crews scattered over various tables. The 3 pirate Captains were seated on the frontmost table, with so much grog and rum that it makes the other pirates look sober in comparison. Not going to join their crew, not until when they're more... clear-headed....?

Personality: Illyn is known for one thing, her temper. She is known to cuss and swear like a sailor, with words that she picked up from the elderly. She doesnt enjoy her experience with living in the world of that Yggdrasil, not especially with the old account she made and the cringy username.

She had been expelled from the previous guild for her inactivity, and hopes to join one, and to play the game once more. She felt that her childhood dreams are fulfilling in the way that she did not want to... For now, she presumes her gender as a male, so that she wouldnt need to explain so much about that charade.

Illyn is also frustrated with the lack of cigarettes in YGGDRASIL.

Background: Illyn is born in Taiwan, she started on the MMORPG YGGDRASIL from the age of 8. At that time, she played with her friends, and had gotten word from them that some male equipments are cheaper. And have started with decent funding and guidance. Eventually her friends stopped playing and swapped to League. But she still plays the MMO casually throughout her life.

In real life, her parents are divorced and she lived with her grandparents. But she had a steady and normal life , except getting frustrated after a Bronze 5 rank in league. At highschool, she heard the game is closing, so she logged on to her level 53 account to have the last time of playing it. Only to be dragged into a world, with a username that doesnt sound very appropriate. ..

Items:
Halberd of Dreams - A silver Polearm with the crest of a grey wing. Very effective against undead monsters.

Abilities/skills:
Dreamy Guillotine (Active) - A skill that enlarges her weapon and strikes multiple opponents

Nightpiercer (Active) - A single-target stab that is more powerful than usual

Crossslash (Active) - A attack that slashes her opponent twice in a row.

Flowing Winds (Active Buff) - A skill that increases 'his' attack & movement speed. Unknowingly to her, it also increases the sense of pain.

Mana Eater (Passive) - Illyn can absorb some of her enemies attack into her own mana reserve.

Soulsbane (Passive)- When slaying the undead, she can restore a small amount of her HP.

Dream Tracing (Passive) - Allows 'him' to sense people who are invisible magically, and allows 'him' to trace the uses & directions of teleports.

Jeanette is a confident girl who values her honor & pride. She is blunt & honest, often saying things in a straightforward or even vulgar manner. She is rash and is known to attack Marines at the slightest provocation. She's the kind of girl who shifts the blame to others, but she's a nice person to talk with.

Just like the usual person of East Blue, she doesn't know about Devil Fruits, all she knew about her abilities was that she can explode instinctively.

Background

Jeanette was born from a wealthy family of Shell Town, living a comfortable life when she was about 6. Her parents have obtained a Devil Fruit through connections, and have fed the young Jeanette at a dinner. Unfortunately for her, the Devil Fruit that she'd eaten was a dangerous one, and she had accidentally killed her entire family the moment her explosive abilities activated.

Left alone and abandoned, Jeanette lived the rest of her life in the back alley, rising up as a leader of a street gang due to her abilities and power. Not many dares to approach her turf without caution due to her "unexplained" exploding spears. One day, the Marines have taken her more seriously and eliminated her gang. Being the sole survivor, Jeanette turned to the high seas, starting afresh as a pirate with a rowboat.

She had gotten into a skirmish with another Pirate Crew, caused when she ignited the winery over a barfight. The fight with those pirates have burned down most of the village, mostly razed down by 'stray exploding spears'. The Frozen Saint incident have earned her a small bounty.

Abilities

Bomu Bomu no mi (Bomb Bomb Fruit) - A Paramecia Devil Fruit that gives explosive properties to any part of her body, whether it be hair, mucus, or breath. She's naturally immune to explosions.

Weapons

Javelin - Janet is good in throwing javelins with dead accuracy from a far range, she could also use it as a melee weapon to hold her own at short-range combat.

Techniques

Exploding Javelin - Jeanette's Javelins which are strung with her hair can explode upon impact

Spear Barrage - Jeanette throws a rain of explosive spears down her enemies.

Crimson Lotus Spear - Once thrown, the back of the handle explodes, to send it at a longer range. The strands of hair are tied on double knotting.

Flashbang - A 'harmless' explosion of bright lights and screeching sounds. Often used to distract enemies.

Burst Steps - Jeanette ignites an explosion at the foot of her heels, to propel herself at mid-air.

Cannons - Jeanette can fire ship cannons at longer range and firepower due to her abilities, without needing the gunpowder.
