Yeah I was kind of hoping to get involved in some of the action too. Oh well, I guess I'll just have Rinori scout the city from afar. Sounds like something she'd do anyways.
I changed many things so this is practically a new character.

Hmm. Maybe it'd be easier if I just make her into a hunter. It'd give her the right skills I want with a more reasonable backstory.

I would like to ask though, how "realistic" will this to be? Because when I played Oblivion I did just fine sneak attacking everything with my dagger. I understand that this isn't a game but at the same time I don't want to end up having to carry a long sword and decked out in glass armor just to keep up at later in the story. I'd hate to have to be shoehorned into a frontline fighter, never being able to utilize stealth, or for everything to be immune to poison.
I understand, and I have no intentions of having her join the Brotherhood or any actual assassins guild. I mostly just wanted to give her the skills and the disregard of people's lives. I know that might conflict against a more heroic group, but I promise that Aisha would try not to be too blatant about her sociopathic tendencies. She'll still fight the forces of evil, just her way.
Aisha doesn't like face-to-face fighting, she's very much not a fighter. She's a killer and gets her thrills from a clean, successful assassination.

I could say she was former a hunter who simply started to grow a taste for huntin people instead of animals. That would give her the sneaking, marksmen, and knife skills for an assassin. She'd still live out in the wilderness instead of the imperial city so she can hone her alchemy. Then she would chose to travel around the country as a traveling merchant as a cover for her assassination tendencies.
Alright, I could try something else. I was thinking that someone took various promising kids and forced them to become assassins, though ibkindabif feel this is too edgy. I was hoping to try to make an assassin who did it for the fun of killing rather than any angst "I do it because I was raised to be one" backstory.
Edit: Currently changing.
Before I get too far ahead of myself, I just wanted to know what your thoughts about dwarven gunslingers would be. I could try a regular crossbowman, but I do admit I'm aiming for deadly, armor piercing shots from afar from a gadgeteer who doesn't favor melee combat.
"We keep fighting." Kyra told Parum plainly. Like there was anything else they could do in the face of a dragon. Maybe she could run away, but Parum was an outsider. She had no stake here. Kyra lives here, her friends and family were here, and these people came and attacked them. Whatever logic or reason Parum was looking for wasn't going to be found here. This dragon was here and he had an army. Kyra intended to stop them.

Kyra didn't find any survivors. There were a few soldiers who were so traumatized by the attacks they were a gibbering mess, but no one who was wounded and could survive. If they weren't ash, they were body parts. Kyra felt oddly stoic in the face of such horrible tragedy. But maybe that was because if she broke down too, then there would be no hope left. She dragged dead bodies off to the side and piled body parts into a mat.

Slowly after the dragon had fled soldiers were returning to the walls. Kyra wasn't sure what to think of the ones who fled. She would call them cowards, but she didn't fight either. Maybe fools, but the braver ones died first. All she could really feel was anger. She was angry at the dragon for attacking her village, angry at these soldiers for failing to kill it. Angry at herself for being so weak. And she wanted nothing more than vengeance.

"We can't keep staying in this fortress. We're sitting ducks out here, and we're going to keep losing men day-after-day as long as they dragon is alive. Orchid's methods was foolish but the goal is the same. We have to hunt down the dragon."
