Naw, you can even turn off Mad Enhancement if the servant and master both agree to it. It's how Ilya can talk to Broserker.

That's true. However, I still prefer the idea of making original characters for original RPs. Why restrict yourself from your own creative thought just because you like the way the character looks? A Rider that is like Hercules but allows for more creative thought than Hercules as a Rider.

Sometimes when a character archetype resonates with me I like to play that archetype out and add in small additions of my own ideas. I guess it isn't so much a restriction as it is more of personal preference.

I actually think Hercules from Berserker to any class is a paradigm shift. It lets you explore his personality and expand upon it, as well as giving him novel outlets to enact both character and power niche.

This is true, but it is still quite interesting to think of how some servants would become like in other classes, which adds new flavors to an existing blend.
