Personality Jocelyn has never quite fit in anywhere she's gone. Her attitude makes it difficult for anyone to get close to her, but the few who do manage end up with her loyalty. She's bright, but rarely applies herself to much of anything other than getting out of trouble when her smart mouth and violent tendencies lead her astray. She doesn't deal with people very well, since she has always felt as if she does not understand them. Despite her more aggressive qualities, Jocelyn is a leader rather than a follower, always thinking fast on her feet whenever things start to go downhill.
History: Switched at birth, Jocelyn's human mother knew from the moment the doctor's placed the baby in her arms that she was not holding her biological child. It was disgust at first sight from that moment on, Heather believing that Jocelyn was a monster who had taken her true child's place. Shortly after bringing the baby home, Heather attempted to smoother Jocelyn with a pillow, caught in the nick of time by her sister who managed to save the baby's life. Heather was sent off to a mental institute, where she ranted and raved over the demon who had killed her baby, and Jocelyn, along with her older brother, were sent to live with their aunt Alicia.
Growing up was difficult for Jocelyn, especially once she learned of her mother's attempt to kill her. Always considered an odd child for her inability to remain in doors for more than a few hours without having panic attacks, and her strange and picky behaviors, she could never quite fit in no matter where she went. Her family was forced to move repeatedly, after one private school after another kicked Jocelyn out for the constant fights she got into, along with her bad attitude and poor grades. Eventually her aunt moved the two siblings to a small community in Rhode Island, where Jocelyn was placed in public school. Now in her senior year, she is trying to get by long enough to graduate.
