I just made Cinnamon Apple Snickerdoodle Cupcakes. I also may have been heavily drinking while making them. Either way, the house smells great!

Bio

Hello!

I've been on a roleplaying hiatus for quite some time but I'm ready to come back to it! I used to roleplay mainly on an avatar based site called Gaia Online. I was more into what they called "literate" role plays: that is, what looks to be your casual to advanced roleplays. As of right now, I'm more interested in the casual ones. I might go into advanced at some point, but for now, I think casual will be for me.

I've done a wide variety of subjects. My favorites are:
-medieval/fantasy
-romance
-super powers or super hero
-psychological
-some sci-fi from time to time

I really enjoy original stories/premises for role plays but I'm also okay with doing something based in an existing world with original characters. I like fast-paced role plays with plenty of action and adventure. I'm good with both group stories and 1 on 1. While I tend to prefer playing male characters, I'm up to playing either gender. I'm also up to 18+ content. I'm not quite sure how far I'm willing to go as far as smut is concerned, but I will let you know once I've hit my limit!

I'm a gamer, especially rpg's (big shock there) and I enjoy fantasy television and movies. I'm very into Game of Thrones right now. I've seen every episode and I started reading the books though I only made it to book 2 or 3...I don't remember, it was a while ago. I also like older Legend of Zelda (I stopped playing the new ones after Twilight Princess came out), the Fallout games, Skyrim, I'm currently playing Witcher 3 (which I got as a gift. Unfortunately, I have not playing the previous two, but I would like to), the Fable games, I played some of the Batman Arkham games, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (the console game, but I also played the mmorpg for a while) and more I can't think of at the moment. As far as movie and tv goes, I like Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, the Batman universe, Star Wars, Sucker Punch etc.

If you have a role play you want to start soon or need new members in that you think I might like, let me know! I'm always looking for new stories.

If you want to check out some of my art, check out my DeviantArt page. I will hopefully have some of my original characters up there once I start drawing again.

And if you like my art, check out my RedBubble Store!

We'll miss you, @Stitches! If you find inspiration, feel free to jump back in.

Take note in my latest post, something from deep inside the cave let out a screech loud enough to be heard throughout the colony. I wanted to draw everyone downwards so we can really get this fight going.

My intentions are that the boss vampire character is in the pit/arena room (ie room 6) and is the one that called everyone to him. He wanted to rally all of the vampires together so that they could fight as a large group as opposed to being picked off one at a time. As I said, feel free to control the npc's as you want and who knows? Maybe someone will fall into the fighting pit and find what the vampires fought in there.
Captain Drystan

As he stood in the doorway, Drystan listened intently to the sounds around him. It was hard to pick out exactly what was happening where, as he could still make out sounds from the fight going on upstairs. He could see flickers of movement from the room in front of him, unsure if it was perhaps candle light or if there were actual beings in the room. He guessed the latter.

Unable to gain much more information, he decided to just go for it. Swinging his sword into a ready position, he burst through the curtains that served as the door. He surveyed as he moved, and noticed three large creatures right away. One came lunging at him and he realized this one was female. She wielded a candlestick in her hands and swung it at the captain as he darted through the room. He dodged and swung his sword back behind him, slicing into the creatures back. She screamed in pain and tried to swing once again. Drystan turned on his heel and stabbed his sword straight through her throat and out the back of her neck. She let out a gurgle as blood filled her mouth, the candlestick dropping to the floor. With a swift motion, Drystan swung his sword and freed her head from her shoulders.

He turned and saw two figures crouched in a small corner room. There was another female holding onto what appeared to be a child. This gave him pause as he briefly considered his next move. He knew this was a possibility and he also knew his duty. Unable to go against his King and knowing any children living here must be vampires, he quickly disposed of both of them, leaving their lifeless bodies laying where they sat, huddled together.

As he drew his sword back from slaying the creatures, he heard a noise behind him. He quickly spun around to face his foes, but was taken aback. Three more figures had suddenly appeared behind him as he had been distracted. One woman and three men, all on the larger size, and all carrying real weapons. He braced himself, preparing for the attack. All three rushed him at once, swords poised and ready. He parried one attack, ducking out of the way of the second, and letting his leather armor absorb the blow of the third. He swung towards the center-most assailant and sliced their side, only doing external damage. He went to block an attack from the female vampire when he felt a blunt force against his back. He stumbled forward as one of the creatures slammed their entire body weight into him, knocking him off balance and throwing off his attack. He struggled to regain his footing but was ultimately unable when the second vampire also slammed into him. He fell to the ground, slashing out as he did so. He was able to slice across one of the creatures legs before a sword came hurdling at him. He rolled to the side, able to narrowly avoid a lethal blow. He winced as he felt the stitches in his side from the previous day's fight open up.

He pushed his body forward, using his feet and legs to propel himself towards his back and rolled forward, missing another attack. He got to his feet, steadying himself before swing diagonally across the body of the first male. His sword went through the soft part of the neck, down past the collarbone and out under the armpit. The creature fell over as the other two went in for an attack. He dodged again and went to return a blow when a blood-curdling screech from somewhere deep in the caverns rang in his ears. The two other vampires stopped what they were doing and ran off towards the stairs leading down. Drystan was left along, surrounded by the dead, as blood began to seep through his shirt from his old wounds. He brought his hand up to his side, putting pressure on the injury in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

"What the fuck was that....?"

Captain Drystan

A sickly smile spread across Drystan's face as he watched the other hunters burst in to attack. He held back a moment, reveling in the sounds of chaos and bloodshed. His blood pulsed quicker as the draught he had recently ingested began to take effect. He could feel his strength building as he flexed his fists, reaching for his sword.

He charged into the lair, drawing his sword from it's scabbard as he flew through the doorway. He went for the first creature he came to, a young adult male, inexperienced at fighting. The poor creature only had a rake in hand, most likely one of the younger workers in the group. He swung his would-be weapon at Drystan uselessly as the captain quickly jumped out of the way. He swung his sword down and sliced right into the vampire's shoulder, cleaving a great gash and opening up veins. Blood spurted and the creature screamed in pain. He had clearly never experienced a silver weapon before. Caught off guard by the pain, he dropped his rake and grasped at his new wound. Taking advantage of the moment, Drystan drew back his sword and swung with all his strength, slicing sideways and cleaving the creature's head clear off it's shoulders. It flew across the room and rolled along the floor between another creatures legs.

The body fell to the ground, limp and lifeless. Drystan turned his attention as another creature came barreling towards him, this one with an actual weapon. Dagger in hand and much more experienced than the first, he lunged at the captain, narrowly missing his waist. Drystan twisted out of the way and brought his elbow down sharply to the back of his opponent's head, knocking him to his knees. He went to swing his sword for the kill but the creature was too fast. He rolled out of the way and Drystan's sword clanged loudly against the hard ground. Both recovered their footing and weapons and went in for the attack. Drystan blocked the vampire's dagger with his sword, letting it slide down into the hand guard. He swung in a wide circle, loosening the dagger's hold against his sword and swung into the creatures arm. It sliced down to the bone but was stopped there. The man snarled in pain, but recovered faster than his counterpart. He went in for another attack, swinging the dagger this time, trying to slash at Drystan's chest. Moving out of range, Drystan turned his eyes to the burning pile of brush in the center of the room. He swiftly reached for the dead man's rake and used it to fling some burning debris at his opponent. Covering his eyes from the falling ashes, the creature was momentarily defenseless. Drystan took advantage of his open chest, and stabbed inward, turning his sword sideways to fit between the rib cage. Piercing through the creatures heart, there was a gasp before he fell limp to the ground.

Drystan retrieved his sword and turned to look at the room. There were three doorways he could see. One lead back in the direction of the entrance, one open leading to a dark stairway, and another with a wooden gate. He chose quickly, moving to the nearest door, heading down an empty set of stairs. He moved quickly down the steps, his eyes scanning, making sure there were no creatures hiding in the shadows. At the bottom, he found himself in another doorway, this one with curtains leading to a room with three pillars. He slunk quietly to the side, trying to remain hidden to gather some intel before moving forward. He could see shadows moving in the room but it was impossible to tell how many...
Also to note for the current fight:

The main/most difficult part of this fight will take place in room 6, also known as the fighting pit. That can be where the big, main leader is and also, if anyone so chooses, perhaps a hunter falls into the pit and comes face to face with some creatures meant for pit fights. I want to you guys to have plenty of options so have fun with it!

Also, I just want to reiterate that vampires can regenerate unless poisoned by specific, vampire-targeted potions. If a poison were made with bits of silver in it, this would effectively halt the vampires regenerative abilities. Silver weapons also damage their bodies and can briefly halt their regeneration where wounded. The only way to truly kill them is to stab them through the heart with a silver weapon, decapitate them, or completely obliterate their bodies by bombs or other, more creative methods.

It would also be completely feasible for characters to get overwhelmed in this fight, as there are around 30 some vampires that are known to live there, they are in relatively close quarters, and the vampires have the advantage of knowing the place while the hunters do not.
You guys post so much when I'm not available! Haha, I'm trying to catch up right now.

As to@ScorpionFlower's question, you guys are correct. As much was made public but might not be entirely obvious in the recent political exposition, the Ballanger guards who attacked the Filtiarn guards were, indeed, vampires who killed them later that night in the streets. This type of attack is relatively common, although it usually occurs in much less populated areas and with much less high-ranking individuals. That's what made this attack cause so much uproar. That being said, vampire and lycan attacks are relatively common inside the city walls, but they are usually more sneaky about it, especially with the hunters around, now. (I'd say there is some kind of attack at least once a week, though it's not always talked about since it's often done in the slums and could be chalked up to overdoses/sickness/any other things that could kill poor beggars.)

There are political ties to things, as Dromeus Ballanger clearly knows about his gaurd's involvement in the attack and their vampire status. He has had them killed and is doing all he can to take the blame off himself and the family. That being said, from the characters point of view, they can be suspicious of the noble house's involvement but they have no real reason to suspect them yet.

Oh yeah, and this hunt they are on right now is a way for Dromeus to push the blame on someone else. While it is a vampire colony, they are relatively passive other than killing local livestock. The hunters don't know that, however.

ALSO also, I like it when characters get hurt in fights >:3 It makes it feel more real and potentially creates drama. Hence, the fact that Drystan got injured a few times fighting the fish monster.

Anastasia would have been tied to the activities as she is the only character close with the Ballanger family but, unfortunately, she had to drop out. If anyone has any reason or want to get their character involved in the politics, I would definitely be open to having one of the noble families' children befriend them.

Here are some possibilities to keep in mind when everyone comes back to Rothenburg. I would love to have some intermingling plots with the hunters and the noble families.

It's all good :)

I'm fine if you want to post as characters before they left the city so that Juniper can tag along with everyone.
@Lucius Cypher That would be a good idea to get her to come along with the action. Otherwise you're going to have a while with none of the main hunters in the city.

Although I left it open for anyone to stay behind if they want.
I am also interested. I've been trying to find a new roleplay for some time and this has peaked my interest.
Mission Details

There are reports of a vampire colony in the wilderness in between Rothenburg and Augsburg, on the edge of the Ondorro Forest. Reports are varied, but there appears to be around thirty vampires who live in an underground facility. There is a mixture of men, women and children who all live together. For the most part, they appear to be semi-peaceful, mainly feeding on local livestock. This has created it's own problems, as many of the nearby farmers have lost much of their income because of them.

Not much is known about the lair itself as it seems to be mostly underground. There is a small cave that leads to the entrance with doors and stairs leading farther down into the earth. The Hunters are charged with eliminating the entire colony with no prisoners. This may prove difficult, both because of the shear numbers and the small population of children. The vampire threat is a growing one, however, and the king wishes to get rid of any and all possible future "problems".

Captain Drystan

The Wilderness of Belvoir

Drystan led the hunters who chose to follow through the wilderness, searching for the supposed commune. With the help of the some of the skilled trackers, they were able to find the cave that lead to the compound. It was still daylight out when they arrived, they kept to the treeline in an attempt to stay hidden. Vampires were known for their heightened perception, so it would be difficult hiding from them if they were out. Luck favored the hunters, however, as the colony kept to themselves as much as possible, especially during the day.

Before they moved towards the cave, Drystan paused and addressed the group. "What we know here is limited," he began. "We'll have to approach cautiously. We need to try to keep the element of surprise, but that will be difficult. We are entering their home. We'll be on their turf and we don't know how many we are up against. No matter what happens, we need to remember our job. We are here to annihilate every last one of them. We do this for our King and our city. Don't let them down."

With that, he gave them a nod before turning back to face the cave entrance. He grabbed a small tincture out of a pack attached to his belt. He popped the cork off and quickly downed the green liquid inside in one gulp.
