Interesting premise, I will craft my CS first and afterwards you can count me in.

The characters posted so far are so damn good, I'm hoping to be in now more than I did initially. Good Job ya'll.

Circuit Boards and Flesh. (A blade runner and GIAS inspired Cyberpunk RP, very character driven)

This RP takes place in a Cyberpunk world, more specifically in a human settlement on a planet outside the solar system. The RP is not interested in epic space drama or spaceship battles, instead it deals with the issue of Humanity vs Synthetic Humans or Androids. The initial setup will introduce various human characters (us, the players) of whom an announced number will be secretly android. The android character(s) are not designed to only act human, but to murder them for reasons to be revealed in the OOC as part of the RP's plot.

This is how it works, whoever is interested will submit their character sheet and they will craft it without the intention of playing an android. I will personally pick a number of characters to be the secret androids through PM, my personal character could be one as well. In other words, create your character as you would naturally any other RP, cause you might actually play a human. The backgrounds of the chosen characters will instead become memories implanted in them.

Shoot your questions, or suggestions if you think it can contribute to this RP, my ideal expectation of this RP is at least 2 posts per week bare minimum. So please, if you are gonna be sick or busy tomorrow, or afterwards just don't bother. It always happens where people show interest in an RP and then just decline joining. So please if you are interested do let me know, and at the same time craft and submit your CS here or wait for the OOC when we have about 5 people or so.

Now. Apartment #34, Woodland St.
Portland, Oregon.

Randy was sitting on a dirty couch, the apartment in a total mess, which was something that would never reflect his discipline. He didn't give it much thought as he was occupied with preparing for his new job, a job that made him come all the way to Oregon. His Bo Staff and custom Colt guns laid before him on the table, wearing half his costume as he counted his bullets. The television was the only source of light in his rented apartment, something on the news murmured about a Hulk comet hitting New-York, but it was a passive noise for him. His contact at the organization that raised him called him earlier that night, gave Randy the specifics of his next job. It was another assassination contract, with the target vaguely described. Randy recollected the phone call while he put on his tops and fitted on his mask.

"...An affinity for fashion? That is all what I'm getting? You know I need more than that, this entire town has a damn affinity for fashion."
"Like I said Randolph, you will know your target when you see it. A lot of movers are paying big sums for your target's head, it has caused them numerous troubles, we wouldn't want that to happen to our beloved clients now would we?"
"Of course not, what are we without our blood-thirsty war mongering clients?"
"a bunch of savages Randolph. Clean shot, and I will wire you the money like usual."

When Randy was ready, his Bo Staff in one hand, his combat dagger in the other, fully clad in black padded trousers and Deadpool-era inspired colors he went out from the window, and climbed up to the rooftop through the fire exit. His target was a few blocks away, he had taken shelter in that shitty apartment for convenience's sake alone. Randy never used long-range weapons, he loathed Snipers and sniper rifles, preferring instead the old-fashioned way of assassination. Something that he learned since his coming of age, ninja-like approach to target elimination. What Randy never knew was that his target was non-other than the Runaway Daughter-Grimm, the eleven years old daughter of Nico Minoru, the original Sister-Grimm. When he finally spotted her in an alleyway, he felt shivers crawl through his skin pores.

Randy a.k.a DEADGENE, THIS MOFO DOESN'T LIKE CHIMICHANGAS

Name - Randolph -Randy- August
Alias - Known in the press and public as Deadgene , in the mercenary circle he is known simply as the red clown.
Age - 28

Powers - Randy was trained by expert mercenaries and assassins as early as the age of 11, and hence he has amassed advanced knowledge in the human anatomy, how to break it and make his victims suffer fatal injuries with the slightest of blows. Randy also mastered the use of various military-grade weaponry and machines, and can craft hand-made weapons and bombs from everyday objects. His signature weapons include his combat and boot dagger, a pair of custom made chromed Colt 1911 with ivory grips, and his stainless-steel and carbon alloy bo staff. Randy also has enhanced endurance and stamina more than the average human.

Weaknesses - Randy in most cases is a grade above the average human, but a grade below superhumans and mutants when it comes to superpowers. Frankly put, Randy lacks any obvious superpower, his abilities are learned skills honed by years of experience and training.
He can be quite cooperative at first, but when he finds the chance to make an extra buck or gain the upper hand he might act selfishly.

Personality - Dead-serious, materialistic, highly motivated and passionate about his profession.
Experience - 10 years in the mercenary and assassination business (retiring), 3 days in the Super Hero business.

BRIEF Bio - Randy was born into the mercenary life, raised by master mercenaries and assassins from a young age. Nothing is known about his parents or where he came from, as his adoptive guardians focused more on teaching him the trade than talking about his past. Randy started his rigorous training at the age of 11 up until he turned 18, that's when he took his first job, and killed another human being for the first time in his life. Most of Randy's assassination contracts and mercenary works were done for foreign governments, jobs where he had to kill and kidnap major figures in organisations such as A.I.M and HYDRA. Randy also had a dark couple of years when he was on the run from the United States government and holed up in Canada, there he met a retiring Wade Wilson in a local Strip Club. Wade and Randy talked about the mercenary job, and wade shared with Randy his Deadpool secret. They were both drunk but Randy never forgot Wade's words which he itched them into his memory:

"Grab what you can, kill who you can kill and have a blast while doing it. I suggest Chimichangas and Bubble-Squid Princess comics, you know, those Japanese cartoons with tentacles-- Anyway, whatever you do, do remember that this business, this lifestyle doesn't last. So you better find yourself another alternative while you are young-- Will you look at those pair on Candy? Damn she got fine."

Since that day Randy was greatly influenced by Wade Wilson and his Deadpool persona, so much that he took cues from Deadpool's costume and made it his own. Skip three years and Randy is back in the states, with a bodycount throughout his 10 years career that could twist the insides of an everyday man. Randy settled in Portland, Oregon for what seemed to be another job, unknowingly to him it was the job that would change his life.

Key Differences - Randy opted to use a non-lethal weapon when in melee combat, as opposed to Deadpool's deadly dual ninja swords. Randy doesn't have a teleportation device, and he can't break the fourth wall either.

Notes - Randy has no personality disorder, or colourful humour, however he does have a sarcastic sense of humour and a love for video games.

Sample Story Arcs:

Re-Origin: Randy rediscovers what it means to be a Hero, at a great expense that is. This arc marks the birth of his Deadgene persona and his quest to redeem his past lifestyle.

The Avengers Initiative: Randy's first interaction with a major super hero team, something that greatly changes him even further than his rebirth. The team he meets could be the X-Men, the X-Factor, or any other team, the 'Avengers' in the arc name is merely allusion to the greatest symbol of justice.

Hired by Blade: Randy could encounter a new Blade and begin his journey into the Marvel Universe's supernatural realm, this Arc will have him go back to Oregon for a lengthy monster-hunting and vampire-slaying.

Supporting Characters

Good - Wade Wilson (Deadpool), Blade (reborn), Daredevil (reborn), Ghost Rider (reborn). X-Men, Avengers.
Bad - Taskmaster (Original or Reborn, depends if I can create another character down the road).
Ugly - His Uncle, he hates his Uncle, but he is still his only living family member.

@BlackSam3091 I have removed his regen ability, I only added it so he can have a resemblance with Deadpool. I'd rather have him powerless than adding any other power that Deadpool wouldn't have. Think of my character as more a street tier hero, and he is quite heroic you just give him some time. I mean his first story arc is all about changing who he is, not entirely, but enough to be sanely labeled a hero.

As for the group that raised him I wanted to keep it till the IC, but if you must know it's The Hand that trained him. More on that backstory in the IC.
