...Although this reminds me, would there be any kind of limitations to the skills Nila could learn? Like, limited to the staple skills or something?


There might be some abilities that just require more MP than she actually has? Like I could imagine one of the really crazy monster moves like Shadow Flare or Light Curtain just outstripping the normal resources she has right now.

That could also be a cool character thread for her, like, maybe she learned a really powerful monster move at one point, but it's not something she has the stamina or magical strength to perform as is, so she's working up to the point she can actually one day use it. Or something like that.
@Crosswire Were you interested in maybe doing a JP between Red and Eissen? If like, you didn't have something specific already planned and in the works.

(Also, I made a small update to Clementine's sheet. Given his background in a poor and militarized country, he'd probably have very little patience for the spoiled rich kid type, so, +1 to the dislikes section.)

@Ogobrogo Phew, here we go. Finish up the drawing, finally churned out the backstory section, the sheet is kinda rough right now but I think this hits what I was going for with Clementine's character. Is there anything especially egregious that you'd like me to change?


Nearly nearly done, I had to restart last night cause I wasn't super happy with how it was turning out, but I should be able to finish it up tonight, for sure. Just gotta wait until after we get back from dinner and I can get back to my laptop.
I changed Brooke's Pterosaur Launcher to Pterosaur Spin, because it didn't make sense.




That said, I wanted to ask everyone what their thoughts on the RP were thus far? Anything I could do better?


I think you did a great job with character creation set-up. It was sandboxy enough to really let people go wild with the ideas they had, which I think lets people get a lot more attached to the characters they make and more interested in sticking through, but had enough limitations and a clear setting/style to actually give people an anchor to hold on to, instead of getting lost in an incoherent white void of literally limitless possibility, which I see some sandboxy RPGs fall into.
