It is alright, I just recently added a list of possible magics to the first post that I had managed to think of all of a sudden, I'll add in the difference between spells and abilities in a moment.

Spells do a specific action that is essentially part of the spells 'program/process', Abilities can be freely manipulated at any point, when ever the user wishes.. Example: Spell 'Create Flame' can only create a small flame, it can not move away from your hand/catalyst or it'll disperse, but this can be used to light things on fire if pressed against flammable things or even provide light. 'Manipulate Flame' is an ability that allows one to freely control existing fire to do what every they desire aslong as they have enough concentration.

Basically Spells can't deviate from what their meant to be used without becoming a new spell and requiring other abilities to do so, while Abilities have freedom to do what ever they wish that involves it.

for example since Zahir realized he was one of the people, his 'Control plants (though very weakly) making a piece of grass twitch as he tries to move it.' isn't a spell, that is essentially the ability to Manipulate Plants with enough concentration, that is more than a spell. 'Binding Grass' would be a spell that would cause Grass nearby to grow rapidly wrapping around the target. You wont be able to tell the grass to do anything else without a different spell. or 'Growth' would be a spell to make plants in an area to rapidly grow in general.

Your own spells follow a very basic thing 'Create two small orbs of (element)' this doesn't mean you can fire these small spheres out to hit someone since that wasn't originally part of the spell. you simply made two small orbs of fire or earth. Which still fits a spell, a fairly weak one but still fits a spell.

probably going to wait a day or two more before throwing up the OOC for everyone to work at. There is some stuff I noticed with people's spells I have yet to speak of. Mainly some spells don't exactly sound like Spells when I reread them a few times. Spells do tend to do a specific single action, some of the spells given do multiple actions, or is read pretty much like an ability instead of a spell.

When people start creating their spells, they can combine spells together with some hardship and create brand new 'original spells' which do a mix of the previous ones. Like 'Holy Fire' uses fire magic and Holy Magic creating a Holy flame that can burn away undead at a dangerous rate.

There is around 5 spells currently, if I'm not mistaken that fall under the current category of not looking like a spell, or simply sounding like an ability/weakened ability. I wont say who until the OOC.

P.S. Start thinking of Spell Names to go with your Spells, and even maybe Minor Chants for these spells. 3 words minimal chants, since there is 3 ways to cast spells, all can be casted by these methods. Ritual, Chant, and Chantless. Chantless is the hardest and requires a lot of training. Ritual requires materials so pointless for low level spells but barely uses any magical power. Chant is the middle of them.

Alright, I've decided that Conjuring will be for Objects while Summoning will be for Creatures. Mainly because they sound better that they 'I Conjured up a Sword' and 'I Summoned a Slime' lol. also I will state please do not go crazy in regards to Magitech, they are technically being taken to essentially a medieval world.

Conjuring and Summoning are both different types and they aren't as powerful as creation, so they are allowed. One can only summon things like beasts (Conjuring) while the other can summon objects (summoning), though I might switch them around since I haven't finalized this idea yet. So one of them would be for those who summon minions and the other would be used for utility needs, including calling forth a weapon if need be. Also you still have 'Creation' in the talent section.

Basically Conjuring and Summoning would summon things that exist in the world, the one that summons beasts would create a one sided contract and have the beast obey the summoner.

There is another magic involving Creatures that I'll go into later if need be but it's one that involves 'Taming' creatures instead of simply forcefully summoning them.

lol, it was just something that randomly had popped in my head so I just thought of how it would be like to design one. I already have my submissions done and posted so it was just something I wondered how it would be lol, and yes the Maka Chop would of been hard to pass up.
So many possibilities with this rp lol, heck I've even started to design a third character, though it's a Misc character that is just being made to be made. so it wont be for any submission, just a random idea that popped in my head, a weapon that's essentially a 'Spell Book'. Though while some abilities would be magic related, others would be soul related.

The rp will start with everyone entering the shop so everyone will generally have arrived at the store at the same time through their own methods.

Creation magic might be to strong of an idea, it may be something that's possible through combining various magic, but I don't think Creation magic should be a flat out type of magic, especially one that people can begin with. Also I would prefer if things be a bit more... PG I guess would be the right term, at least for the time being since this is a site for many ages. So try not to refer to certain things like in your history directly. At least until all the roleplayers are decided in the OOC and know we don't have anyone to young for that information.

The basic of the plot is simply the development of the characters from newbie magic user. To Masters of magic, will they finish this journey or give up so far in. Will they die in one of the trials/events I have planned for them or will they survive and grow stronger. I am trying to keep things vague in order for all of you to experience it as it happens in the roleplay.
