I do love how things like that work out all the time, with one person mentioning a lack of a type of character and then the next person fulfills that role.

By all means, go right on ahead, we had space for one more to make six, and another spot might open up if the other guy doesn't post by tomorrow.

The Gamers (A Videogame Themed RP) (Reboot)

Lucian handed out the items which he had picked up, or been given to hold on to so that everyone was even. He observed the items, then placed them in his inventory. He knew he could use them as a catalyst for communing with the wind, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was anything else he could use them for...though the thought of googling that one seemed like a far fetched idea.

He had just finished shoving that thought aside as he got to watch Saito's response to opening his windows for the first time. He chuckled, "Now imagine seeing things like that every day." he paused looking upward in thought, "Though I guess since we are all hard core gamers...we sort of saw them a lot before this as well, just on a digital screen." he shrugged, then went on to apply his own stats. Raising his dexterity by two, giving him a total of 10, and placing the rest into his intelligence, giving him 27, and an addition talent point. Switching over to that window next, he put his points in focus, knowledge, Natural force Rit., Negotiation, and projectile weaponry.

After that he looked at his skills and read them over again, seeing how much experience he had gained on his skills from that before giving his thoughts on what he would do next. "Hmmm....well I am game for either continuing, though I would like to commune again with nature at the start for a boon, or I am going to go home and grind two skills that are less combat oriented...Since I can probably meditate and have use my mana flow at the same time, which would put my mana regen above my costs, so I could try a few more things...Up to you two, what would you rather do?" He looked at Saito, then at Ren, noting the change of title.

Appearance: (hopefully I will finish his drawing someday) Azure stands at 6'1", with his neat azure hair neatly arranged to his neck. He has pale blue eyes, and wears armor that has a unique comination of spikey metal and fur. His avatar favours the colours of white, blue and silver.

Personality: Taking more time to think than he does to act, Azure has been noted as a cool, calm and collected individual. He is aware of the crisis that they are dealing with in SAO, but knows that a level head and a quick wit will take him both farther, and give him the best chances of survival. On the negative side though, he does view himself as more important than most people, and though he normally plays nice, it is not beneath him to use people to meet an ends which he desires. Has issues granting trust.

Other: Has a twin brother who was involved in the development of Sword Art Online, and although he declined to beta test, he knows more than your average new player would.

Sword Art Online: Rising Phoenix

Sword Art Online, the newest game for the Nerve Gear, brining a whole new depth into the gaming world, and you managed to obtain a copy for your own enjoyment. Sadly though, not everything worked out as you had expected. After playing the game for a mere hour, you found that you had been forced via teleportation back into the Town of Beginnings main plaza, where the creator of the game, for one reason or another, explained that you would be trapped here, in sword art online, till you managed to beat the game...which would mean conquering all 100 floors of the game, he also gave you a little present, making it so everyone's avatar, looked just like them in real life, though the hair colour seemed to remain the same as your personalized avatar had before.

Living in a game till you beat a game. A gamer's dream come true, right?

You will be a part of the guild known as "The Pheonix" A small guild which will be just starting off at the kick off of the events, it will be few in number, but great in purpose, as they will be a guild that will take on the front lines. Using the imagery of a Pheonix rising from dust, the GM of the guild is hoping to move from the dust and horrors of this digital world, and break free to the real world, making a path for everyone else.

The rp will not deal with most canon characters or guilds, and will certainly have some different twists and turns. The name of the creator is still Akihiko Kayaba, and we will start on the same floor, and deal with the same first boss (thanks to the intell the beta testers had gathered) but after that, I will randomly generate a floor theme and boss for it. Feel free to create or mention other guilds and ideas, and what they are doing during the course of our adventures, but your main character must be a part of The Phoenix.

The Pheonix has no specific colours or type of armor, just the pattern of a burning wing. which can be any colour, or on any spot, (like how laughing coffin has their coffin face thing, except more noticeable, since we are a 'good' guild.)

Weapon types can evolve as the story progresses. As opposed to SAO which just had Kirito and Heathcliff using unique styles, based on your character and how they act / there preferences, they can 'unlock' new fighting styles down the road. Some via quests, or other conditions which shall be made known later.

Every weapon is a sword, even an axe is a sword. Everyone will start off with a basic sword though. I will have a sword tree, so your character will have to take a route to become what you envision. Starting weapons will be heavy short sword, short sword, thin short sword.

The Gamers (A Videogame Themed RP) (Reboot)

"Yeah, will do." Lucian took the crystal and placed it into his inventory. Looking at Saito, who had taken damage, Lucian realized something. Just because they had some of the Gamer's powers from being in their party didn't mean they had them all, the skill of a gamer body, didn't seem to pass on, but would healing someone using a gamer power work? would that mend broken bodies? It was something that would need to be tested later, as he currently had no healing moves...unless you were an elemental.

"Saito, if one starts targeting you, go behind me, Our bodies don't break, and we can easily heal or just rest for a few minutes and be back to normal. As long as we have hit points, not much can keep us down." After voicing his opinion, Lucian continued with the grind, tossing wind to get attention, but aiming to miss. Which made it a lot easier to achieve the goal. Then following up with his actual attack, Ocean's Wave. He would continue this method as long as his mana could hold out.
