sorry I should be able to post tonight. I'm on holiday, but I should be able to post before I get to bed.
I really do enjoy how the abyss auction was just explained in the m\nwha right after you brought the abyss into the rp.
Haha, I posted. No worries, my posts lately have been every couple of days due to circumstances.
Mrs Burnoise was walking around the lab, placing her finger on odd bits and pieces to check for dust, she was busily examining the condition of the lab and spoke as she acted, "that all depends on how quick my Son is to kick me out this time," She didn't even look at Nathan, who was trying his best to place himself between her and the machines. She stopped though as Sky handed her a coffee, "Thank you darling," She started to drink it, but was always looking around, as if searching for something to be 'off'.

"Mother, I told you before, you need to call before you pop up uninvited." Nathan's voice clearly showing how irrateded he was with his mom showing up out of the blue on such a big day.

"I would of called, but last I checked your phone, you blocked incoming calls from me." She glared at Nathan, who just glared back at her.

"I wouldn't have to have done that if you would simply stay out of my business, stop touching my inventions, stop trying to set me up in your various have grandchildren schemes, and..." He started to go silent after the last words left his lips. Could it be that his mother succeeded in her mission eventually? is that what led to the birth of a child? "OH no!" He yelled in horror, ads he dropped to his knees, "I... fail?"

A bit puzzled, but still used to how her son's random outbursts, Mrs. Burnoise raised an eyebrow, then turned to Sky, "Well Miss Donahue, it would appear that you have done some work here, how do you plan on moving," She pointed at Nathan on the ground, "This forward?"
Lucian had just finished grinding his skill for the time being, opening his window he looked at it, pleased with his progress, "Already level 5? Not bad, I think I will take it to the next step after it makes it to level seven or higher." He looked at the clock mounted on the wall and pulled himself off the ground, he had been planning on meeting with the others to train, but still felt a bit hesitant about it as he hadn't made it as far in his personal endeavors as he had hoped, but he did say he would go, as he was getting himself ready at a leisurely pace, a new window appeared before him, one that he had never seen before, and afterwards he hoped to never see again.

Ren is in trouble? The window displayed that the other gamer was in a Deadly status, worry crept into Lucian's mind as he wondered what could be going on, he got everything together and started running, only stopping when he noticed the health meter displayed returned to normal, and then realizing that he actually had no idea were anyone was in the first place. Slumped, Lucian opened his mini map, and would play with the toggle of its zoom, while standing in the shadow of an alleyway. His question of where to go was answered in a message he got shortly after though. He continued on his way as quick as he could, arriving after the others. "Are you okay? Is everyone okay?" Lucian was panting, this was more running than he had done in years.
Closing the new windows that had appeared infront of him, Lucian smiled as a drop of sweat raced down from his brow, "Fascinating...Skills can change, or evolve instead of just having a mass of skills? this works out nicely," To say Lucian was pleased with the new development of his Mana flow would be an understatement. Because of what he had learned, he had many new ideas flood into his mind on what he could do now with enough practice. He sat back for a second, before he got up and got himself a glass of water from the tap. Before I move on though, it would be best if I tried to master this skill somewhat, I can always work more on my tree after I get home from training with the others. He drank his water while leaning on his counter, But if what that window stated is to be taken literally, that would mean that the earth has its own mana...He stared at the ground, Could I observe 'Gaia' ? he placed his glass in the sink after he finished. "That would be silly." He shook his head and at back down. He would spend the rest of his afternoon focusing on flowing mana into the ground, then flowing mana into him, and back and forth.
Fin's face turned red as he turned away from Beatry, "S-some times things happen, and then you don't like things involved with that happening." Awkwardly he gave a pretty pathetic attempt at covering up why he had a fear of fire. It was embarrassing to say the least for him, a knight with a phobia, he had tried to conquer it, but it never went well for him. Even the thought of a magical area of fire sent shivers down his spine. Was he really unable to run away from this one? Fin started to laugh loudly, he knew it was frankly pathetic, but it was a hard thing to do, facing such a traumatic fear.

He turned back to her, his face's colour returning to its norm, "Well, it's not like the fire one comes first right? I mean the other eleven clearly do, as fire is such a strong and dominating element, it must be last, or one of the last ones." He spoke aloud trying to comfort himself, but a feeling in his gut wouldn't let it sit, he knew he wouldn't be that lucky.
That only took one of them? haha sweet. I'll post then so we can wrap up the afternoon?
So if the afternoon activities are all through, that means I can start heading over to the group?
"Well, we do not know too much about chains, or how they are born, there is a rumor that people become chains, or that the will of the abyss simply wills them into existence, and as to why they form contracts," He pasued for a moment, "Well they do have personalities of their own, so it can be for many different reasons why they would form a contract, simple hunger, boredom, honour, to get out of the abyss, to fulfill the wishes of the abyss." He shrugged, "We really don't know much, but finding out intell about them can be dangerous." He stood up and walked over to the window with a grin on his face, "But we do know that we need to stop them, and I know that we are going to be having a bit of a party soon." He turned to Skye, grin still on his face, "I would say we have an hour or two before sunset, and that is when things are going to get wild."
