History of the Nation (Easy Pz):
Following the Third World War, General Stolarz led the Belarussian military into neighboring countries weakened by the war. Poland easily knelt under his military force, with Troops marching across Warsaw and Poznan after only three months. But brutal fighting continued in Russia for some time. A longstanding battle of the city of St. Petersburg lasted for almost the full duration of the war. The Belarussian military was slogged through three long winters against the Russians, but were almost as well equipped. It was not until St. Petersburg was taken in 2054 that Russia was pacified. and the peace treaty granted Stolarz and Byelorussia the lands they now control.
Ukraine attempted a preemptive strike on the Byelorussians while they were engaged in Russia, and attacked their holdings in the Lesser Poland region. But General Stolarz was able to quickly respond with occupying troops in Poland, who immediatley crushed the Ukrainians at the battle of Przemysl, routing them back towards their homelands. The Ukrainians realized their peril, and hurriedly set up a defense at Lviv to keep the Belarussians out of their country. But the defense was slaughtered by surprise maneuvers from conscripted Polish general Slawomir Sokoloff. When the Belarussians reached Kiev, the Ukranians quickly surrendered. Lithuania and Latvia subsequently volunteered to be incorporated, and Estonia capitulated only two days after the declaration of war on their nation, as the Belarussian army, under command of Russian conscripted general Vladimir Brugonov.
Stolarz then set about establishing a government, rapidly forming the governing council of his most trusted and able generals, many of whom he had recruited from the conquered countries. The 10 Oligarchs, including Stolarz, asked the people to put forth volunteers to review a constitution they had drafted. Surprisingly, the people approved the constitution, legally placing Stolarz and his government in control. By 2060, the nation was internationally recognized by all but a few nations, mainly the exiled governments of those it had conquered. Byelorussia has slowly been building its military in preparation for a brewing war with the Finnish Republic and possible revenge attacks from the badly weakened Russians.

Government:
The Belarussian government is a merit based Strato-Oligarchy. The most able-performing military man of each of the nine Representative districts (Belarus, Warsaw, Poznan, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) is sent to the governing council, which meets every other month in Minsk. Commander in Chief Boris Stolarz is the executive until he steps down or dies, after which the most able commander of the council will take his place.
While a general standing military is present, the PP (administrative police) are tasked with maintaining order, especially in the far reaches of the empire. They are forbidden to execute or torture unless it is absolutely necessary, or they receive permission to do so from Minsk. Counties and smaller administrative districts are governed by well performing men of the PP.

Name: Henry Broadburn
Age: 31
Appearance: Roughly 5' 10", Muscular, lean build, somewhat tanned. Golden blonde hair and startlingly sharp blue eyes. Short, scruffy goatee. Average sized mouth and slightly squat nose. Long, angular face, but not long enough to make his neck appear awkward. Long, lanky limbs, though when working with animals, he seems almost graceful. Long burn scar along left arm. Generally holds a cold, grim facial expression, though some say he lights up when he laughs (not literally of course).

Personality: Henry is an icy man. Given his history, he tends to see the bad sign of things. But as such, he is often more prepared than another person might be. He has no qualms about defending himself in the face of danger, though he's always tried to stay on the good side of the law. Generally very reserved, Henry does open up around people he knows well, and is often seen deep in conversation with a close friend while working. Henry is of mild intelligence, not too smart, but not stupid either. He takes great pleasure in caring for the animals especially, and treats them as he would treat his own family. He is terrified of large fires.

History: After his father ran out on the family, Henry, his brother Mitchell, and his mother moved into Boston in order for Mrs. Broadburn to earn more work. She took a job in a clothing factory, before a fire tragically killed everyone within. Henry and Mitchell went out into the country, working odd jobs for the locals, until Henry was 17. By now, they had ventured north into Vermont, and had been staying with an elderly farming family. Henry was struck by tragedy again when a cow knocked over an oil lantern and burned down the farmhouse, with his brother and the elderly couple inside. He spent the next few years on the rails, until he was miraculously accepted to a community college. Henry did work on Veterinary care, but never earned his degree, leaving instead to go work on a farm, because he felt the academic life was suffocating him. He joined the farm when he was 26, and has worked there ever since. He cares for the cows and horses mostly, but is the vet-in-charge for all the animals.

Posted CC in characters, since I'm going away, wanted to do it early.
Added a reference in my sample post to The Great Patriot.
So um, anybody else gonna make a character? Also, I'm going away around 2:30 EST tomorrow, won't be back till Wednesday. Shouldn't be a huge issue.
