Day 17- Morning

It felt quite good to wake up, yes. She hadn't realized that she had made it somewhere safe, feeling the soft bed underneath her body, warm sheets covering her. As she slowly began to feel things again, she started to feel the biting pain in her ear, although way, way less than yesterday. Of course with the return of her senses, she also could make out, she wasn't actually alone in the room. Her heart started beating faster as she, panicked as she became, she turned around to face the threat yelling out loud: "Who are you?! What do you want from me?! Haven't you done enough?!" When she noticed who she was yelling at, her ears folded back, her healthy one and the split left one, which after it had been cleaned was fairly visibly nicked quite a bit with a cut going about two centimetres into the ear lobe leaving a visible gap.
"Oh...", was her response to seeing two familiar faces and her body relaxed visibly exhaling a good amount of air.
I have 30 minutes of internet time left... not gonna make it, not gonna make it tonight. Sorry that you have to wait on me. I'm waking up at 7am my time, gmt +1, tomorrow morning, I'll by typing away then, kay?

The last final fantasy game I played was a realm reborn and I hated it so gods damn much

If you go into it expecting a Final Fantasy game, yeah, sure you're gonna be lotsa disappointed, because it is not a Final Fantasy game... at all.
I think I like it that much because of its amazing community. Some of the people there have become very, very close friends.
One game I play a lot right now is Final Fantasy 14 Online. So fun! :3

Sure, that sounds like a good dramatic device to me and it takes the pressure off. My only concern, if I was setting it up, would be the lack of opposing characters. We don't have PC Player Killers so it's harder to balance and build the presence of the threat. It still adds depth and drama and we don't have to go deep into it at all. It's just one of those things where if too many people show up scarred then there would be a certain demand for a PvP fight with the players doing the scarring.

Also, we don't have to let this happen too often. I think scarring would only occur when player killers don't actually kill their target but get it very very close to death and just leave it lingering there or something like that.
I'm playing another MMO where you can have semi-permanent modifiers from injuries and stuff like that that only go away when you cast a certain spell or drink a certain potion.
Also, forgot to do this, sorry.

*Tackle-hugs the crap out of Pyro* AHHH!!! You're back!!

YAAAY! *nibbles Kaben's ear*

I personally don't think I want my character to be THAT special, like to be the only one who this could happen to. I find the idea that it is fixable by something incredibly rare and expensive pretty good, though. Also... I still think it gives the RP more depth... and more drama concerning the PVP players, which we don't necessarily have to delve into.
Either that or there are certain, let's call it enchantments, that might make injuries permanent, or at least longer lasting than just taking a quick potion.

I don't know if I want to make it completely permanent, maybe just enough to leave a noticeable scar or something. But then a sub plot would vanish...

I mean, personally the thing I always found wanting about the anime was that duels with players were kinda meaningless, except for the killing part. But if players could injure other players, maybe even damage parts, not talking about legs, arms, hands, fingers or gauging out eyes and stuff, the threat of nasty players would be even more real, if you get my thought process here. I mean, I can of course just edit the post and make everything not happen at all, if you want, for authenticity's sake.
