"F-fine." Gale said, her voice bitterbut slightly shaky. "You can go ahead, and be an explorer. See if anyone ever cares about you."
The young pokemon turned around, walking out of the restaurant surrounded by several patrons tired of the ordeal and looking to get a faster breakfast rather than the chaotic little situation that had unfolded. Takeo chuckled, watching as the small, yapping fox was picked up by the scruff of the neck by his mother - something that he was all too used to doing to Gale. "Noww, that whole mess is dealt with, let's get back to work. I'll cook you up a me-" He was immediately cut off as he turned around, revealing a diner mostly empty of patrons. "Well - I guess that will free up some time for me to cook a meal." The head chef sighed, walking back to the grill to reveal an assortment of cooking food and steaming pots. He placed some under the cupboard, hopefully to save for dinner tonight, and began to serve the food to the remaining loyal patrons.
He walked around, carrying an assortment of ceramic plates and bowls to his remaining clientele - serving up hot bowls of food and steaming plates of vegetables to the pokemon lying about. As he came to Kel the Keldo, he said, "Hey, thanks for helping take care of that kid, Kel. Nice job getting his mother. I hope he doesn't try to get back here soon!" He turned, as the sizzling pan full of Zell's food began to emit an aromatic sort of smell - picking up the attention of several nearby pokemon. As he turned, he crossed on Belgond and his father's table - his father still looked pretty chummy as he recounted about a particular exploration in which they took care of a Mudkip causing trouble out in the lowlands, but Belgond looked bitter - he seemed particularly distant. He lay out an assortment of rich looking food in front of the group - on Gale's plate was a pancake with a neatly cut-out smiley face, soaked in syrup and mint leaves.
"Hey, Belgond." He said, frowning, glancing around the restaurant. "You seen Gale? She yells at me when her food gets cold."
Outside of the restaurant, storming down the street, was Gale as she silently fumed about how Belgond responded to her. I can't believe he said that! The nerve! He was such a stupid.. A little deeper, however, she horribly regretted saying he and his father was stupid. I mean.. I guess he's not that stupid. His dad's cooler than mine. Maybe I should just go back and apolo - never mind, that's dumb. She continued storming down the street, sliding through pokemon with her remarkably short size. When she grew up, she'd be just like that awesome Staravia her dad was holding up - just the sight of his eyes focusing on her almost made her shiver. She'd be like that, one day - intimidating adventurers with just a glare. She was sure that she would be.
