Military Branch 29th Hospital Corpsmen Battalion, UNSC Navy
Appearance Caucasian, though slightly tanned due to her eastern European family heritage. Not the tallest, she only stands at around 160cm (5'4''), and weighs just under 55 kilograms(120 pounds). Despite her age, she still has a relatively young-looking face seeing as though her life has been mostly stress-free compared to most other humans living in the era of the Human-Covanent War. She has a long and noticable scar under her left eye which goes down to her chin and slightly down onto her neck, although the scar is less noticable there. She received the scar in her youth when she got into a fight with a group of adolescent boys terrorising her younger brother, and in response, she was cut by one of them. She kept the scar to remind others not to screw with her. She has dark-green eyes, as well as bright and fiery red hair, which she has never dyed and most likely will never dye.
Attire Standard UNSC Marine Corps Battle Dress Uniform, only with a red cross on the helmet, chest, and right shoulder.
Weaponry BR55 Service Rifle, M6C PDW, Standard UNSC Combat Knife, Several Bio-foam canisters, standard medical supplies(sutures, painkillers, shots of morphine/adrenaline, bandages, splints, etc.)
Fireteam
Sergeant Stephen "G" Hellie- KIA
Liked by his Fireteam for not being an asshat like most other sergeants, Hellie met an unfortunate end when Fireteam Spitfire's Pelican came under fire as they were making landfall, and crashed to the ground. Hellie's safety straps broke with the hard landing, propelling him out of his seat and into the opposite end of the Pelican, instantly breaking his neck.
Crewman Lillian "Red" Kensington- ACTIVE
Being the Fireteam's only trained medic, Lillian was liked by everybody for her innate ability to stitch them up no matter what injuries they sustained, critical or otherwise. She took command of the Fireteam after the sergeant was killed, though that was short lived.
Private Liam "Vocab" Bolswichtz- KIA
The more vocal of the group, Liam grew up in the slums of Earth, and as such adopted their very different manner of speech, usually using colloquialisms of words the rest of the Fireteam had never heard before. He was killed in the first firefight the team came across, getting stuck in the throat by a very well thrown plasma grenade. The resulting explosion almost removed his body from existence, and he will never be able to be identified.
Private Edwin "Ed" Kensington- KIA
Lillian's brother, he was the youngest of the group, only 23. He met a grizzly end, which Lillian witnessed, at the hands of a trio of Kig-Yar, which literally pulled him apart while he was still crying and screaming. Perhaps the most impactful death Lillian ever saw, and with good reason.
Rank Crewman(equal to Lance Corporal)
Specialisation Combat Medic
Personality Lillian is light-hearted, and can almost always be seen with a smile on her face, though not since her brother was gruesomely killed. She prefers to not make significant connections with anybody(exception being family), due to her being a medic, and it's not uncommon for people close to her to die despite her best efforts to save them. She doesn't mind jokes, though she isn't very tolerant of her subordinates, including superiors, making them in combat, and she will openly voice her disapproval. Out of combat she likes spending time looking through mementos of her civilian life, though she will eventually put them down to spend some time with her comrades.
Biography Lillian was born on the first of January, 2521, and spent her youth with her mother, as her father was a miner, and so spent the majority of his time away from his family. She took an early interest in biology and anatomy, mostly due to the fact her mother was a doctor as well, and so she spent a lot of her time in the hospital. Her world turned upside down when she was nine, as a Covanent fleet was detected in the Eridanus system. What was usually a very placid and calm environment turned chaotic in a matter of hours as families scrambled to get onto evacuation shuttles and get away from the doomed system as fast as possible. Lillian, her mother, and her young infant brother escaped on one of the first shuttles, though she hasn't seen her father since that day, and to this day doesn't know what happened to him. She and her family moved to New Alexandria, on Reach, and life went on. Soon she got over her father disappearing, and continued with her life. When she wasn't at school or looking after her brother Edwin, Lillian was with her mother in whatever hospital she was stationed in. Years went past, she got the scar on her cheek from the schoolyard bullies who picked on her brother when she was only 18 years old, though they came out of it worse, seeing as though Lillian was good at making friends, and those friends came to her and her brother's rescue. She kept the scar, despite it affecting her youthful beauty. Time went past again, she became a nurse at the age of 19, assisting in the hospital her mother worked at, and attained the status of doctor at 25. After another year, she decided that she wanted to do more for the human cause than just sit in safety and treat regular patients, and so she applied to the Navy. Seeing her qualifications, she was quickly transferred into the Hospital Corps, which Lillian was quite content with, and as such, and as such, she learnt how to kill a person. Most of her time wasn't in combat, it was mostly medical personnel duty. Eventually, the war got worse, and she was forced into combat, where she quickly started losing teammates, which forced her to be a bit more distant with her comrades, as loss was something she never coped well with. She was also adopted as "Red" by her other Marine comrades, partly because of her red hair, the red cross on her chest, and the amount of blood she's usually covered in, at first she didn't like it, but it grew on her, and now she finds it has a nice ring to it. Some more time passed, and her brother, unknowing to her, joined the Marine Corps, and eventually was assigned to her Fireteam at the start of Operation Grey Axe, which she absolutely exploded at, berating him for multiple reasons, mostly joining the Marines knowing how dangerous it was, and quickly asked for him to be transferred off the operation, which was denied. Her worries came to light when her entire Fireteam was killed in the opening moments of the Operation, which has scarred her significantly.
Service-History
Operation Warsaw- She was part of one of many teams that were to provide a rearguard to a convoy of UNSC transports that were heading to a warzone cut off from the rest of the UNSC. Operation was a failure, the transports were destroyed before they arrived at their destination, and Lillian's squad was killed by one of the transports exploding, the only reason Lillian remained alive was because she was on a Hornet being extracted after taking a Needler shot to the stomach.
Operation Nest Kick- Assigned the only medic on a small operation to infiltrate a Yanme'e nest and detonate several explosive charges, Lillian performed her duty well past everybody's expectations, keeping the casualties to nothing, as she helped everyone get out alive, although some had lost a limb or two. The operation was a success, and the Yanme'e nest was destroyed in almost textbook fashion.
Operation Skyfall- A large-scale operation meant to push the Covanent off of a vital location and establish a base of operations for the rest of the UNSC forces. A partly successful operation, Lillian's fireteam along with many others landed and pushed Covanent forces out of the immediate area, however, they were unable to establish a proper base due to the multitude of Covanent counter-attacks. The operation remained a stalemate where no side could gain the upper hand until a single team of Spartan II's landed behind Covanent lines and assassinated almost every high-ranking Sangheili in that detachment of Covanent, quickly forcing the Covanent to fall-back. That was Lillian's first and only interaction with a Spartan, as she was lucky enough to operate on one to save her life. Later she learned that her name was Maria-062.
Affiliations

Notable Traits
She has a slight German accent she picked up off her Mother.
Dancer.
She draws whenever she can, although lately she lacks the drive to do so, seeing as though her brother was killed in front of her.
There's my thingy! Just tell me what I need to change and I'll get right on it :3! Also glad to hear you're out of the hospital! Good to hear you're up and running again.
Karen grits her teeth as soon as she hears the voice in her head, because she is not receptive to intrusions such as that, then she bows to the teacher and returns to her seat. As much as she tries ignoring the voice, she eventually succumbs to it. I kindly suggest you get out of my head before I find you and kick your ass seven ways to Sunday. And as for your question, no, I can't control my quirk. Now out. Perhaps to the rest of the class she'd seem insane, but she kinda assumes they know who she's talking to, and that they'd be able to tell she's talking to him due to the amount she's grinding her teeth together. Also, nobody would really know her quirk seeing as though she hasn't shown it yet, all they know about her is her name and the fact she has flaming hair.
All good, that'd do it if you really want it to be like that, I don't mind that much.
Just for curiosity sake, is there a reason behind the decision? Catering to children? Uncomfortable with the prospect of something like that, or just general difficulty to work around? (Also forgive me for the questioning, I'm used to much more lax RPs, but I don't mind that much, just want to see what's in the inside of another GM's head :])
That'd have to be another flaw with the quirk, I guess. Can't turn it off until in privacy. Could make training and socialising a bit difficult, however.
I was thinking about both, and to be frank, she can't control her quirk like Endeavor could, which was the only reason he wore a costume like that, because he could control where the fire would come out of, and something fire 'resistant' wouldn't hold up to exposed flames for a long period of time, so I guess going costume-less would probably better suit her quirk.
Also partly that reason seeing as though I can't really picture a costume befitting someone like the Human Torch.
Eventually, Karen stands up and moves to the front of the class, and after taking a deep breath she speaks quietly, due to still being shaken. "Umm... I don't have a c-costume... My quirk makes it impossible to wear anything while it's activated. S-sorry..." She nervously rubs her arm and avoids making eye contact with her new teacher, instead staring at the ground with her beady brown eyes, full of emotion which she doesn't want anybody to see. She gulps loudly, not wanting to anger Wraith this early in her time at UA.
Karen calmed slightly knowing she didn't embarrass herself infront of all of her new classmates, so she starts going back to what she is normally like(more confident and a bit louder than she has been). "Karen Koning. Pleasure to meet you, I'm sure." She doesn't smile, but she does have a warm look in her eyes, as well as being warm in general due to her flaming hair. She raises an eyebrow at Ayn, not overly content with 'Flame Girl' as a nickname, but just so there isn't any conflict, she remains quiet about that. She's about to say something, when Wraith enters with a chill, and the bad news. Although she never met the boy, knowing that he was killed by a villain is still unnerving to say the least, and as such she goes back to being a bit quiet. She stays quiet while he talks, almost holding her breath, and feels like she should speak up when it comes to her costume, which is non-existent due to her unstable quirk, but decides to keep her mouth shut. She silently muses to herself about the very odd and creepy order of events, including the new boy entering at such a bad time.
