Karen felt the wave of needles wash over her, but she didn't get bothered by it one bit. She watched Jerome intently, looking for any sarcasm that he could possibly show signs of in his insectoid features. She knew she hadn't gotten the top score in anything, so he was obviously fucking with her.
"I don't like jokes, Teach. Stop fucking with me."
She crosses her arms once more, and leaned back even more, really annoyed now that the teach was fucking with her, and kinda annoyed she had the weird needle-in-her-arms sensation from Yusuke, though she didn't show she was annoyed because of that.

Something in her urged her to turn on her quirk. To really show Jerome what fear was, but she resisted. Not very hero-like, afterall. Though she was a little, for lack of better word, 'frightened' at her building anger. It was something she'd definitely have to work on.

Karen stopped and stared at Jerome, though she conformed, seeing as though he was her teacher, despite the fact that she HATED listening to other people. She dropped her feet, but still sat like a delinquent. Glaring knives into Jerome, she crossed her arms, and leaned back in her chair. Stupid mantis.
"Whatever."

She turned away from Jerome, then lightly rapped her fingers against the table until he left. Her frustration once again slowly dying down.
She sighed at herself. She had to chill. She was going to be stuck with these same people for the rest of the year, possibly even the next three years, so she had to stop caring so much about what they did. What a bother.

Karen had been thinking about what had just happened. She was angry. The nerve that girl had showed really ticked Karen off, and both of the people who disturbed her were indeed saved by the bell, otherwise they'd be going to class with a burn or two. Her temper was rising, and with it, her temperature. She balled her hands into fists in frustration, and was unbelievably close to triggering her quirk, something she hadn't done in quite some time out of lack of necessity.

Until she was bumped into from behind. At first, she thought it to be the winged girl from before, and as such, Karen expertly threw her fist where she assumed her nose to be, her hair seemingly melding together as she spun around, looking ever more intense. She was momentarily surprised to not see the girl, but instead, a young man. Her fist stopped mere inches from his chin, as he was taller than she predicted. She stopped her aggression, and pulled her hand back, then straightened up, though continuing to stare the boy in the eyes. Her temper had simmered, mostly due to her prematurely throwing a punch. She was better than that, but she had let it get to her too much. Shameful.
"Keep walking to class like this never happened if you know what's good for you." Her voice was once again devoid of emotion, and she turned around to return to class. She didn't like the boy, but she was still ashamed that she lost her temper, so cutting him some slack seemed fine.

She eventually reached the class, and, although she was internally bothered by the winged girl and the other boy being there, showed no emotion. She just walked back to her seat, and sat down quietly. She pushed her chair back slightly, and put her feet up on the table once more, uncaring of the teacher's presence.

Karen stared blankly at Dan as she continued counting down in her mind, easily passing the eleven second mark before he finished talking. She tilted her head slightly, sparing Raven, not her swords, a glance out of boredom. She had nerve, talking without being spoken to. And that wasn't a trait Karen liked a lot. She also heard the bell, and with the sound, she dropped her almost finished box of cereal into her bag.
"You. I don't like you already. He went over his time limit, but got saved by the bell. You though. You spoke without being spoken to. Watch your mouth around me, Tweety Bird. Feathers and fire don't mix well.
She said it all with her normal emotionless voice, and without even breaking a sweat, nor a glance towards Raven's swords, stood up, slung her backpack over her shoulder again, and started making her way towards the classroom, slightly annoyed that she was disturbed twice in the same hour. Her 'hair' flowed behind her, giving her a menacing aura, as well as a aura of heat around her. If she got into a fight she knew she could probably beat the both of them, especially if she turned on her quirk. It was just the girl's swords she had to get past.
Despite how intense her quirk was, it wouldn't stop steel from cutting into her. Hopefully she could figure out a way to get past them soon, because conflict was definitely inevitable in the near future.

Karen listened in on the conversations the the best of her ability, which, is just normal human hearing, so probably not that well. All was going well until the boy sat at the table she was at for a total of three seconds. She hadn't really known how to react, so she continued crunching cereal, though to say she would've felt slightly pleased someone made an attempt to talk to her would've been nice, but of course he ran away like all the others. Surprise wasn't in Karen's dictionary, so she shrugged inwardly and continued eating her cereal. People were scared of her, and with good reason. The less she had to talk to them the better.

She utterly jinxed it. One moment she was alone, and the next, the boy and a friend of his appeared again, this time actually out of the blue. She didn't react, though inwardly she was, well, for lack of better word 'surprised', though she doesn't feel surprised ever. It's just the word that suits the situation the most. The friend was the winged-girl from before. The same one Karen didn't care enough to stare at when they first 'met' in class. She crunched loudly on cereal, partly because she didn't care for table manners, and partly to get the attention of the winged girl, who still hadn't noticed her, for some reason.
"You have three seconds to explain. Three."
She continued counting down, even through whatever explanation. She looked colder than most, despite being on fire, which, was a little ironic to say the least.

Karen was, again, indifferent. About everything. She was both the first to leave to return to the changing rooms, and the last to leave. She spent the majority of the time there in the showers, washing herself in almost boiling water. The pain she felt from the water soothed her, because she started to feel annoyed at how badly she did, although she had told herself she wouldn't get angry. Despite her best efforts, her being outdone in almost every exercise was infuriating, but there was nothing else she could do about it.

She eventually sighed, and butted her head against the shower wall lightly, almost as if to knock herself out of her angered trance. She eventually exited the changing rooms, back into her normal uniform, and closed in on the cafeteria. She arrived late, so she didn't see any of the bullying that happened, which means the bullies are probably experiencing one of the luckiest days of their lives. Looking around the cafeteria, she doesn't feel any pull whatsoever to go sit anywhere close to her classmates, as such, she moves to a almost unoccupied table, with only a few kids from what she assumes to be a higher up year than her. The moment she glares at them, they stand up and vacate the table, leaving Karen an empty table, just the way she wanted. Instead of an ordinary lunch, like what she assumes the rest of the school has, she pulls out an entire box of cereal, and starts eating it. On it's own. No additions. Just regular old corn-flakes. She didn't even bother with a spoon. Fucking savage.

Karen didn't flinch as she watched everyone do a lot better in the exercises than she ever could, it just wasn't in her style to be bothered by things like that. She could beat them elsewhere. She had noticed that the small cute girl had gotten significantly taller, and again, didn't really care that much. She continued her observations, until finally, it was her turn. She walked to the podium like all the others, and scribbled her name down. Her quirk wouldn't help her one bit in the tests, so she'd just have to do them all on the basis of her actual physical abilities.

She did the 20m dash first. She knew she'd do well on this, she was a fast runner, and she was very, very fit. She took a couple moments to limber up, not caring what the others thought about her doing stretches in her body-tight exercise gear, and then set herself up at the line. As soon as she shot from the starting line, she had ended it in just under three seconds. Wasn't her record, but it wasn't the worst either. Not like she cared, it was better than the boy with the white hair, and all she ever needed to do was beat one person to prevent her from truly getting pissed about her scores.
2.87 seconds for the 20m Dash. Not bad for her.

Next up was shot-put. Probably was going to be the least scoring test out of the lot, but again, her give a shit factor was very limited. She picked up the large ball, and tossed it from hand to hand for a moment, getting a feel of the weight, and predicting how far she could probably throw it. Eventually, she leaned back and threw the shot-put ball with the majority of her strength. She didn't bother seeing how far it went. It was probably bad, not that she cared.
19.40 metres for the shot-put toss.

She took the 100m dash next, leaving high jump till last, since she preferred running over jumping. Again, she limbered up at the starting line, doing various stretches and the like, before again, setting up at the starting line. She again, was off like a rocket. Of course not as fast as the white haired boy, nor the winged girl, but still very fast, especially when not augmented by her quirk. She cleared the finishing line, then continued running, albeit a little bit slower for another 40 metres, before turning and heading towards the high-jump area.
11.29 seconds for the 100m dash. Again, quite good, seeing as though she doesn't have a quirk to help her out.

And at last, she had almost ended the pointless routine, and she was glad about that. She didn't bother limbering up, she didn't really care about her result in this, she couldn't get anywhere near the score of the other kids in this one, nor did she want to. In one single motion, she bent down, then leaped up as far as she could, nowhere near as much as the previous students. She landed on the mat, got up, and simply returned back to the rest of the students without giving her results a single look through.
186 centimetres. Somewhat abysmal compared to the rest of the kids, but if measured with a quirkless class, she would easily be the best of them.

She didn't bother to look at the rest of the class, no matter if they were gawking at how horrid her results where, or confused as to why it seemed she didn't have a quirk. She didn't care what they thought.
Dope, here's hoping Delta posts sometime soon :knife:!

Karen looked at the teacher for what could only be described as a micro-second, before looking away in disgust. She grit her teeth, and slowly rose from her seat, leaving behind everything she brought with her. She walked past her teacher without further acknowledgement, and somewhat followed the stream of students to the changing rooms.
I fucking hate bugs.
She continued down the hall, a bit bothered by what her teacher was, and a bit more bothered at the fact that she was competing against so many students in a exercise where her quirk wouldn't help her one bit.

As she entered the girls' changing room past the winged woman and the boy with the annoying phone, and quickly headed to where her locker was, which was of course named, then did her best opening it, which she managed eventually after remembering the combination she had assigned a while back. She took out the slightly modified uniform, and without really caring about whatever girl was around, stripped and started getting changed into it. She didn't care if others saw, mostly because they were all girls, but among other reasons, she wasn't bothered by it. Her well built muscles were apparent for the first time to the outside world since she got to UA, but that didn't last long as she pulled on her sports uniform, covering her body once more. She sighed, and decided to keep her quirk off, instead opting to do everything without the aid of it, not that it would be of much assistance anyway. She payed no more attention to the girls, and made her way out to the exercise area. This was going to be a very long day.

Karen didn't flinch as the popper went off, nor when a random person appeared on a chair and fell over, wasn't in her nature to be surprised. She gave the boy a quick lookover, and didn't see anything notable to look at, so instead she focused on the girl, though she knew enough to not stare at her wings, because she hated it when people stared at her hair, so she knew how it felt.

She pulled her eyes away to look at the small girl waving at her. From what she could see, she was just over half of Karen's height. Were kids this young allowed in UA? Who knew, who cared. If she was here, there was obviously a reason to it. She didn't wave back, but she acknowledged Koharu with a nod, then went back to looking like a delinquent.

The boy with the white hair sat back down a couple seats to her right, and although she didn't look at him, the constant ringing of his phone irritated her. Least put it on silent if you're going to use it in class. Despite her thoughts, she didn't look irritated, instead she moved her hair to block her view of the boy, hopefully he'd pick up that the constant pinging is annoying for kids soon, else she might have to have a word with his phone.
When's the teacher getting here?..

So far, she wasn't impressed by her class so far. She hoped their quirks had more flair than what she could see. They all just looked normal, minus the winged girl. Normal wasn't what UA was about, so if they were all normal, she'd be pissed. They were all just so-. Her thought process reset itself as the next student entered the room, announcing himself like he was supposed to be well known. Well, luckily for him, Karen didn't know him at all, so again she didn't pay attention. The flair, just seemed to walk into the room. She sighed, and rubbed her eyes. It was going to be a long day.
