Appearance
Piper is the tallest woman in her family, standing at roughly 5'8" without heels. She thanks her father for her height, and her mother for her physique. Slender, and seemingly delicate, she has the perfect body to be an excellent on air news personality. Thank God she didn't use it for that. Piper prefers her hair and eyes over her body though, with her brown hair an untamable mess, and her eyes a striking grey color. Overall, Piper knows she's pretty, but would rather everyone forgot about it.
The more Piper grew up, the less interested she was in clothing. Her wardrobe is rather simple. A few black skirts here, a few black pants there. Black pain shirts, boots. The only thing she wears that stands out is a black leather jacket, a gift from her father, that she cherishes and takes everywhere with her.
Personality
Piper never grew out of her rebellious stage. As a teenager, she wanted nothing more than to stick it to the man, even when that man was her father. Rejecting most forms of authority, she fought against her mother and step-father, as well as her teachers in school. The only one who could truly get to her was her father.
It wasn't until she graduated High School and moved in with her father that she began to calm down and mellow out. Piper is one to speak her mind when she feels it'll change things, or when she feels strongly enough about something. If she feels outmatched, though, she won't waste her breath on arguing.
Biography
Piper's early childhood was fantastic. Her mother and father were in love, and they all did everything together, as a family. She wasn't quite sure when everything changed. Alcohol consumed her father's spirit, turning a man that was larger than life into a sullen coward. Her mother and father both said that it was work (being a cop would do that), but Piper could tell that it wasn't. The way her mother moved around him, her body language, and the fact that they barely spoke anymore...It was something entirely different.
They divorced when Piper was eleven. Unable to live with her father due to his drinking habits, Piper rebelled against her mother instead. Trying to do everything she could to have the woman send her to live with her father, it became a rocky relationship for the two of them, and would stay that way until Piper turned eighteen. Packing her bags the moment she was able to, the young woman moved in with her father and the man that he would eventually marry.
Everything was wonderful. Life turned around drastically, the trio taking on the world, and having fun along the way. Pursuing a career in journalism, Piper soon parted ways with her father, moving to the big apple, New York City. Returning to Chicago from time to time to visit her father, she was living a life that she loved, independent and free.
