Why do you RP?

Why to role play... I guess it's because I wish for a deeper meaning to life. The idea that I can be someone else, and live an extraordinary life, is enticing.

Not to mention, it helps keep the mind flowing for when I decide to write up stories and what not of my own.

What do you think is the hardest part about RPing?

As a GM, trying to keep things interesting and new, as well as making realistic dialogue.

As a player, trying to stick to a personality. Other than that, trying to not push the GM too hard. I hate when people try to hijack the game.

"Hmm... I guess that means I shouldn't go battle crazy with Paul on the look out. I wonder what all this death and destruction will mean with our own eras." He said.
"Are you, a newtype? They're legendary pilots that can make their mobile suits move unnaturally. Like you did when you were happy we beat the enemies."

So, it's actually my first time in the discussion area. So I've had a few ideas lately, and would like to know should I go with...

A) Psy Wave. A souls-esque RP set in a Nuclear Future, where the threat of Psychic people has caused an all out war between the countries of the world. Those psy users that still live were frozen within a high security facility to ensure they wouldn't destroy the world. However, hundreds of years have passed and the facility is in disrepair, soon to revive it's inhabitants from shut down.

Or B) Telo Phantasia. A final fantasy/akame like RP with weapons that have unique powers, but only the rarest have 1 made. An evil empire is trying to control the world, and the gods have chosen their Avatars to stop something that threatens even them. (You're the Avatars)

"Hmm..." He began, "I suppose Graham. He has a good sense of honor." He said. Then silently laughed to himself as he caught glimpses of the people snickering. He was aware of the silliness, not to mention it reminded him of some files he read about the UC. So, Puru, you're mobile suit is an antique in my time. Does that mean you're from the Universal Century?"

That face. That look of joy, and eagerness. Just like Manny and the rest of the other cheer leaders. He just couldn't resist that face.
"Alright then Puru, I'll join you for some food. But we can't be too relaxed. It'd be a great dishonor to my pride if the enemy got the jump on us." He said hopping out of the cockpit and making his way back towards the cafeteria.

Oh. I had replied in my last post, so I wasn't sure what to post.

Also, I now have all Mobile suits, and most battleships from reconquista in a file with weapons and such in it.

Mask headed back towards the Sundown. He landed in the hangar, and shut down his machine momentarily. He was sure that more problems would be headed there way soon, so it would be more wise to wait in his MS.

So, I just realized that I couldn't have taken out Aida's Ship Rifle, as it has taken much more force in the show, and can even become a beam saber by lining the barrel with a beam.

In other news, I'll be coming up with a post some time in the morning.
