Does the UR have a President?

Prime minister.

And I could, but I think it would make sense ICly for a 'new' minister to be elected.
@aegon, yup. I'm thinking Gladstone...

Everyone is uncivilized because they called you immature for ragequitting a thread for erroneous reasons, starting a war over an unimportant OOC blood feud, and forcing the inheritor of Britain to follow through with your vengeful final request? Thanks for killing my interest in this RP, Pasta.

Please note that I was not rage quitting. I was worn down. I'm not saying this to be mean, but I believe you are unaware of the greater context here. There have been PMs and numerous discussions in this when these others have bullied to get there own way.

It was not vengeful. It was out of respect for my fellow allied players. I did not want to leave them up the creak without a paddle.

I take responsibility for my actions and I have acted immaturely at times. However I do no appreciate being the one whom everyone blames. I don't understand why nex and the others gang up on me. Why not on Maxwell? Why not on heyitsjiwon? Why not on Greece for flip flopping so much? Why not on Rare for antagonizing someone unrealistic ally. I feel attacked for the goal of knocking me our. It is one thing IC. Another OOC.

@pepper, I don't think defeat will happen honestly. I fully believe the allies will win. It's just the OOC is trying to shift opinion otherwise. I'm not letting OOC effect my IC judgement on this. If I felt I could get more from peace I would.
I'm withdrawing my resignation unless it is too late. If it is then fine; but I've been asked to stay so I will.

Just please stop with the Cyber-bullying. Rather than simply wishing me well or anything like civilized people, the majority of those who responded immediately resorted to attempting to bully me into doing what they wanted.

You may talk about immaturity, but the simple fact is that it wears on you when people constantly put you down and try to manipulate you into doing what they want. Nexerus, you are a bully and I don't accept your disrespect. You degrade people who you disagree with and that quite frankly is not right.

I'm done fighting this war for OOC reasons. I don't simply care anymore. I'll be in this and support the Allies. So unless Outcast has already gotten another Britain, then I'm back in for now.

But you just admitted to having continued the war because of OOC tensions...So what you're saying is that it was a mistake for you to continue the war, but you do not want to rectify your mistake, and would rather stick to the decision that you have now acknowledged is wrong?

FFS....I said that I'm continuing the War for OOC reasons, but it is not the only reason Britain would continue the war. So deal with it. I'm done with this thread. Solamelike or Outcast would you please contact me with the new Britain player so I can update them? Thanks.

Honestly, this just sounds like an excuse to not end it. And why would you force someone to go on with a war that you If they see that, and want to end it, they ought to be able to.

Because quite frankly it doesn't make sense to ICly stab your friends in the back as Austria did. I have historic relations with the Allies and I honor that. I'm done talking about this. This is my decision. I'm not changing it.
IF the other Nations in the Allies ask me to do so, I will. Otherwise the new player will need to take the diplomatic relations of that and continue the war for a determined amount of terms.

@Boerd, because I do believe that Britain has things to gain. I do believe that the Allies can win, but my own personal biases are coming in as well. So my response is it's the above's decision.

I feel we are all assuming it is because of the war. Pasta already said it was OOC stuff and I imagine its because of the arguments and what not within the OOC.

Pretty much this. It's not so much a matter of losing the war. It's a matter of OOC effecting the IC. On both sides. A large portion of why I am continuing this war is because of the OOC antagonism I've received and given. That's not right. I'm wanting to go into a clean slate and not worry about all the stress of this one. Also, school will be starting soon plus enhanced work schedule. So please don't think it's a whining, "I'm not going to win" thing. I do beleive the Allies can win, but I'm continuing it for the wrong reasons.
*shakes head* I'm sorry. This RP is just causing me too much OOC stress and things I disagree with personally. This is not me throwing a hissy-fit, but I just really feel that for the harmony of the RP it is best if I resign. I'll be fairly busy as Japan in the 1900 WIR and I have a few other RPs/work schedule taking up some of my other time.

I will be certain to contact whoever takes Britain and update them. Outcast I would humbly request that whoever takes Britain not be allowed to end the war for at least a period of turns whichever you feel necessary. I apologize to the other members of this RP (especially the allies), but I just don't have the ability to continue this one.
*Sigh* I disagree with it, but Outcast is GM. I think it goes entirely against all diplomatic relations prior to this point, but he is GM.
