Alyson felt helpless and fragile as Flynn started to patch her up. For some odd reason, she did not even struggle when he stuck two discs onto her body to keep her checked up by VIC. It felt like her energy was very low, considering what she had for breakfast and what had happened a while ago.
When Flynn took a seat in front of her, he told her that the couch she was laying on was the bed. It made Alyson frown a bit, wondering where she’d sleep. “Dibs on the couch.” Alyson still managed to squeeze out a grin and reached out for his hand with hers. Having some human contact would surely keep her awake, she secretly thought. Once she had found his, she softly just let her arm rest on part of his knee, and nodded when Flynn repeated sleep was out of the question at this point. They were going to talk for a bit, instead.
When Flynn started to talk about ‘what happened earlier on the ship’ Alyson couldn’t help but get nervous. The moment she had told him about that earlier in the cells, he got quite angry. But, to her surprise, he took it quite well. He even apologized for scanning her that day. “Well I am sorry for kicking your ass, hard.” Alyson again managed to smile a little and vaguely squeezed Flynn’s hand. When he complimented her though, Alyson couldn’t help but retract her hand and close her eyes. A light blush appeared onto her cheeks and she took a deep breath. The way he smiled made her heart skip a beat but at the same time she felt quite uncomfortable. What is happening between the both of them? Were they.. Flirting? Is that what they call it?
Happy Flynn decided to change the subject Alyson answered: “We’re actually going to a small but cosy hideout of mine. I absolutely loved the planet when I was there for a delivery and decided I’d get myself a small cottage there.” Alyson opened her eyes. “It’s quite remote though, so I hope you like nature.” The planet they were going was actually in the Milky Way of the ancient Earth. Within the rims of it though, but it was not as modern as other planets usually were. There still were loads of mountains, trees and grass, which Alyson loved. There even was a beach just an hour flying away from the cottage. The temperatures were also a lot better than Aeros, so they could even catch a ray of sunlight now and then.
