Name: Shinji Masahiro
Rider Name: Kamen Rider Arkanos
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Transformation Device: WizarDriver and Transformation Rings
Origin of Powers: Kamen Rider Wizard
Abilities: Performing different sorts of tricks with his magic rings, enter gates' underworld to save them from their inner phantoms. (Current Rings: Driver on, Shine(Transformation), Dark(Transformation), Bind, Extend, Defend, Black Garuda(Plamonster), White Unicorn(Plamonster), Big and Kick Strike(Finisher)
Forms: Shine and Dark (Dark Form looks like Shine, but changes the blue coloration for dark purple and the shape of the jewel helmet becomes hexagonal). [Change the belt in the picture for a wizardriver in your mind and there we go.]

Personality: Passional would the best word to describe him, whatever job he has to make, he'll give the most of him with excitement. Towards people, he has a very light hearted and open manner, despite his constant sarcasm, when in battle he may act quite cocky and lets himself go really easy, what usually doesn't end up well.
Background:

Born from a family of craftsmen, Shinji had always been really good with manual works, when a child he already built some impressive things with only play dough. As he grew up, like everyone expected him to, he took over the family business and loved his job and had one dream, to make the most people happy and satisfied with his work.

One day during vacation, he made a travel and found a couple of odd looking rocks, they were shiny, beautiful, colorful and while he looked at them, it was almost as if they could talk to him, what lead Shinji to take them home and create something out of them. He was impressed at how sure he was about what to do, and the result of those were a couple of rings, one light blue, the other dark purple, they looked really well and instead of selling, he simply kept them with him.

Some months after that curious incident, another one even weirder happened, strange monsters were attacking the city monsters of all kinds and shapes, on the day he first noticed that, Shinji was visiting his family, when he arrived, the house was burning down, and there was a monster called Salamander, a Phantom laughing at him and about to attack the young man as well, he was sure of his fate, death and had no hope left, and slowly started falling in despair. According to Salamander, he was a gate, and would now succumb to become another evil creature. Desperate he clinged to his one last hope, his own dream, what was strong enough to fight back and now he had it, the potential to become a magician, he just didn't know that yet. And now with no option left, he ran, back to his shop with the vile creature chasing him.

While running he tripped and fell, with the Salamander almost there, he met his gaze with a strange belt on the ground, abandoned and another ring, similar to the ones he had forged. He obbeyed his instinct which told him to wear the belt with an odd hand shaped buckle and in front of it use the ring he had just found, and then proceed using his own rings, it resulted in his transformation in Kamen Rider Arkanos. He easily defeated Salamander, and sworn to use that power to help people, parallell to that, he still does his work as a craftsman and hunts lost rings.
Is this still accepting new characters?

I'd say the poorly thought out crossover series that used alt worlds and changed things around to suit its purposes isn't the most reliable of sources. I could kind of see Pegasus Kuuga managing to catch someone using Clock Up if he timed the attack juuuuust right, maybe, except he tried to do it against an opponent that was just on a fast bike and couldn't manage it in his actual series, not to mention Pegasus Form is a huge boost to perception, so bad that Yusuke "I can do anything" Godai couldn't handle it on the first go and then could only hold it up for less than a minute because it shut down his nervous system from the strain.

Kabuto handling a Clocked Up Worm on the first ep was done entirely to showcase how badass he is and kind of total bullshit in that he's getting manhandled by the thing and then it just runs into the kabuto kunai because he could somehow see it coming by making a smokescreen and using shards of glass to create a laser pointer net, even though it was shown not a minute before that it could easily juggle Kabuto in mid-air, Tekken style, while it was on clock up and give him absolutely no chance to react.

Crossover movies that almost completely disregard character abilities in favor of showcasing them all are also hardly proof that Clock Up is readily handled by those without it, not to mention it was done because Stronger is a popular showa rider and the first to employ a rhinoceros beetle motif. And he was made to use some kind of electric attack made up for the movie that shut the ability down. In general, only other superspeed modes or similar should be seen as appropiate counters for Clockup, because every other instance is iffy and extremely situational.

First, I gotta say I couldn't help but laugh at Yusuke "I can do anything" Godai. xD

Second, hm....you might be right...and yes, Tendou was the biggest Mary Sue of all. Well then, luckily, we've got all sort of riders to deal with those enemies (Makamou, Worms and Roidmudes) which is sort of a relief, however I am aware we can't depend like that on the others, allies or not. But that does give us some time to think, I won't forget this, and again, any help is way more than welcome.

hmm quick question phantom for Zuku did you mean me?

OOPS! XD I typed out wrong, sorry, and yes. I typed Zero's username wrong too...but he already got the message and you too so...that's what counts haha.
So what are you going to do about specific powersets required to battle certain opponents on even terms? We have a Drive rider and now a Kabuto one, Clockup and Heavy Acceleration can readily deny any action enemies and allies might try to make at any point, same could happen if someone wanted to use Faiz with Accel or if I'd taken an Accele-Vent card. My guy could drag people into the mirror world and leave them there, after which they'd have a few minutes to live tops. Roidmudes need to be destroyed by Drive tech otherwise they just reform, Makamou need to be fought with pure sound and Undead need to be sealed or destroyed by other undead.

I'm sure there's other examples I'm missing but this is the stuff that jumps to mind, particularly on how overpowered Clockup and Heavy Acceleration are when in settings where they aren't used by every Rider and monster out there. Or hell my own possibility of nulling any threat long as I can push it towards a reflective surface.

I had myself thinking about that as well, my biggest problems were Heavy Acceleration, the Roidmudes and the Makamou as well. Clock up isn't as much as problem as you think. Decade series proved us, one with an enhanced perception (Such as Pegasus Form Kuuga) can attack someone with this ability activated, I think in Kabuto episode 1 Tendou defeated a Worm in clock up while he was in masked form. Also in Kamen Rider Taisen, Stronger managed to land a hit on Kabuto with his electro kick. For Heavy Acceleration, there will be an organization aiding us, I'll get them to fetch us something made out of the same technology of the shift cars to withstand it. That leaves us with the Roidmude regeneration and Makamou problem, I'll still need to think about that though. Any suggestion is more than welcome. Great question by the way.
@clanjos Take Deadheat out of your CS for a while and you're good to go. Then post it at the character section

@Moonman @Descartes [@zerohex] and [@Zuku] All approved. You three, @Psyga315 and @Zobozun post your CSs at the character section now, please.
are you still accepting?
if so i want to ask if with successor do you mean that i get to be decade for example? (quite a fan of decade you see and well there is only one decade and one DIend)

also do you actually accept newbies? if not i'll just leave (also not the greatest at english)

There was one person working to make a Decade. Also we have too many people already, I'm sorry.

Sure, just one question:
Should I add something about, you know, consequences for sealing the Makamou? Like, I get sealing the villains that are major issues (such as Orochi or the Man and Woman), but the Makamou as a whole are as far as I'm aware some sort of naturally-occurring phenomena that just kind of happens, and sealing away the Makamou as a whole would be a bit like sealing away rocks or trees. Should I change my character's backstory to reflect this? Something about how sealing away the Makamou actually had really awful unintended side-effects on the world as a whole and the Oni have been working to bring them back in an attempt to undo their mistake or some such thing?

Hm...true, when thinking about that, Phantoms would also be a problem to seal. Hm...let's do it like this: The Makamou remained in this world, however the ones who joined Shocker in the past were sealed.
@Zobozun The Makamou had been sealed along with all the other Kamen Rider villains...HOWEVER you could say something like the oni had been training for their return, or something like that. Well...other than that, accepted.
@Descartes Erm...your CS is incomplete.
