So, I'm trying to run a Persona RP in the advance RP section and I'm deciding to also run one as a 1x1 int check. So before I start off with a description of the plot, let me explain how this RP will work. I use a style that works the following way, you will control a single character, the main character of the RP. In this role, you will have one main role to fulfill, approach whatever situations I give to you as the GM of the RP. Essentially you're playing through a text adventure game of sorts. Not hard right? With that out of the way, lets get onto the plot
No one knew how it really started, but one thing was for sure, new victims were showing up every 4 weeks in Tokyo. The first known event anyone could point to was the death of a student by the name of Yuya Jin, an 18 year old senior. Before his supposed suicide, he was the "first" known student to use an app simply called "Crossroads." The app was said to be a gate way to an alternate dimension, or a different world, or something along those lines, but there was one thing for sure. After Jin used it, everyone else who used it would end up the same way, falling off one of the many large buildings in Tokyo. The deaths were labeled as suicides to keep public awareness low, but anyone who knew anything about the app knew the truth, or at least had access to the truth. Many were to scared to use it, or even look into it, and the few who did do some research ended up the same way.
The biggest thing was, the app suddenly appears on several people's phones at once, and then creates messages. These messages...Well no one knows what they say besides the people who receive the app, as it doesn't even seem to register when someone who didn't get the app is shown these messages. These messages speak of horrible things, and continue until one of the people within the group of those affected decides to use it, and the consequences are severe. And once it's over, everyone effected forgets they ever even had the app. Now, the app chooses a new group of students in Tokyo, ripe for the embrace of death...
And this is the opening to our RP, I hope everyone's ready for some murder mystery stuff.
Now with that out of the way, RULES:
1. Posting - So this is advanced, I shouldn't have to explain how long posts should be. However, posting times are as follows. Being as this is an advanced RP, I will give you a maximum of 3 days to respond to my initial post. If you don't post within that time without notifying me, you get a warning, and if you miss a second time with no notification, you're kicked. If you notify me that you're missing a round, you won't take a warning, and if you missed a round before and then notify me of a future round you'll miss, that warning strike will be wiped. Meaning as long as you notify me at least once everyone two rounds you miss, you won't get kicked. Miss 2 rounds in a row with no notification, kicked. Fair and simple I think, but please discuss this with me if you don't feel this is fair.
2. Respect - We have to work together so lets be friends and work well with one another so this can stay fun.
3. Mature/Adult/Romance themes - I don't mind this stuff, but I stay away from it usually as I don't like it becoming the focus of the RP. I don't mind gore, sex, romance, etc, but generally I find that if not monitored then the RP will be over saturated with this and lose all value and focus on the story itself.
