Alright, we have the interest, so I'll post an OOC up either today or tomorrow
How long do we intend to do this for? I pretty much expected to go up til the end of the chuunin exam/sand invasion arc, but will we begin to deviate from the plot there or further along? And then are we going to insert our characters into specific roles from the series, like having an uchiha and the nine-tails and all that stuff?
So long story short. I re-watched the old DCAU shows (mainly justice league and JLU) so now I want to do an RP based on original heroes forming a group and doing shit.

So I know the idea itself isn't exactly fleshed out, but this is gonna be a very character driven RP. I'm hoping that based from the characters people make, then maybe even the first few arcs will be more personal stories. Basically, the group will start of freshly made, but the heroes themselves will be somewhat established. However, each of the characters will be given their own "personal story" arc of some kind. These personal arcs will be used to establish each character, taking a focus on them and having the main cast be b characters of sorts. These arcs can also be used to establish the relationships for each character and such.

After that, we can start throwing in "fate of the world, universe, etc." type stories, but I want to flesh out our characters before tackling big things like these types of stories.

So now that I've explained what I want to do with the RP, it's time to set some ground rules. I shouldn't ahve to explain basic rp rules (meta-gaming, god mod, etc.) so instead I'll establish rules for other stuff.

1. This isn't first come first serve. This is advanced, this means, in my opinion, that the roster of characters should be determined based on the quality of the characters submitted. So, once enough interest is sparked, I'll make an OOC where you guys can submit characters based on the CS format I provide.

2. Posting. For posting, we'll be going in "rounds." The way this works is whoever is controlling the arc (for personal arcs, the RP'er of the character who's having the personal arc will control the story) will make a post. Everyone else will then post a response to said post. Unless someone is delayed and can't post, or their response is not needed (say your character is unconscious or unavailable) then the round is concluded. The controller will post creating the next round, rinse and repeat.

3. Amounts of post. I would prefer people to be posting at least once everyday, but I know that isn't realistically possible so once every 2-3 days is what I'm asking. 4 days max.

4. Don't say you're interested and then after a few OOC posts never show up again. Think about this for a little. If you're really interested, then post here. If you are only slightly interested and then decide you aren't easily, or you aren't able to meet the requirements I've set, don't bother posting that you're interested here.

5. Don't be an ass. If you have problems with someone, either handle it through me or directly with one another, but don't bring your bullshit into the RP, unless your characters actually but heads and you're just properly RP'ing the scenario out.

6. Originality. I know that most super powers have been done, so I don't mind if we get characters similar to super heroes, but please don't just be like "This is ratman. He's a super detective that dresses up like a rat. His parents were killed and he swo-" "Isn't that just batman, I mean it's literally a rodent based detective that just doesn't have wings." "SHUT UP HE'S ORIGINAL, JUST LIKE MY ORIGINAL SONIC CHARACTER BLONIC". If you do something like, just assumed you're not accepted lol.

Anyways, so if you're interested still post here and maybe include some ideas you have for a character.
Well I'm interested, but I guess I'm posting a little late lol. Well if you're gonna be doing it based on the characters submitted rather than first come first serve I'll throw my hat in.
So basically some of the nano-bytes leave your body to actually lift up and move the object?

If this is the case, couldn't the nano-bytes be used for a variety of tasks? If psychokinesis is an ability, wouldn't being able to use the nano-bytes to produce fire like a pyrokinetic be possible? Also having access to machine technology and being able to control it at will, like being able to control machines like construction machines, cars, computers, etc.? I'm merely asking cause if the nano-bytes can vary in ability it would allow for specialization and customization of powers os that each character has strengths and weaknesses that aren't "cookie -cutter"

Either way, I'm definitely interested. Seems like it's basically the matrix but instead of machines with a virtual world with a totalitarian government in the real world, and that kicks ass
well I would prefer to have a well rounded cast but if everyone plays one race I guess that'd be okay.
So, I tried this idea over a year ago now on the old RPG site, and it was going well until RL issues came up. Long story short, I had to drop the rp before it even really got started. So I decided I'm gonna retry now that I have some time off to at least get it rolling.

So, before I even set up a year, let me establish this major plot point. There are no humans in this RP. This is going to be taking place in this galaxy, but for a major plot point I want to cover, humans are not going to be involved in this rp until much later (for plot purposes).

With that out of the way, lets talk about the setting. So for our characters and the society they are a part of, the year is currently 9,XXX NE (New Era). The reason it's this time is for over the past 14 millenia, space travel has been a major part of the society. The era started when space travel advanced from merely orbiting stations and such to fulfledged transportation to other solar systems with warp travel. The first race to accomplish this was the Ras'el, a race of humanoid creatures that hold many animal like qualities tot hem, mainly their eyes, senses, and physical capabilities (I'll get into more detail later). The Ras'el traveled to several different solar systems, interacting with races that were in the development stages of their space travel.

From here, the Ras'el have assisted in the dawn of space exploration for several other races. In the year. While there were small wars amongst factions, eventually there was a peace treaty that formed the GF, Galatic Federation, a "UN" of sorts for all the space faring species. For over 7 millienia, there was peace but somewhere around 7,5XX, there was a major war that broke out that created a warring faction to the GF, the FA (Freedom Alliance), an alliance of factions that felt the GF was less of a peace keeping force and more of a totalitarian force over the galaxy.

Side not, great names right? I had better ones in my old rp but that being so long ago I can't remember anything about them.

Anyways, so the GF and FA fought on and off for over a millenia, and then the GF created a new type of space craft that could not only bend space to travel at warp speeds, but bend space and time of specific areas that would essentially unmake anything within the portion of space that was being manipulated. The ship was deemed "The Silver-Runner" because when ever it warped, either travelling or bending space to destroy it, there would be a silver light right was the warp occured.

So, with this new ship being a prototype, there was only one made, but it was more than enough. whole bases of operations for the FA would be wiped away without a trace with this one ship, and after so much fighting, the war eventually ended. However, the Silver-Runner was discontinued and set to be dismantled. It was treated as a weapon of total destruction, and was set to be destroyed, but this is where our characters come in.

There was a full fledged operation, funded by the remaining FA forces, that resulted in the acquisition of the Silver-Runner, but person assigned to head-off the operation had different plans in mind. After acquiring the ship, she...Well she basically said "Fuck you" to both forces, flipped them off, and then disappeared with the warp speed.

This was about 5 years ago. Now, she has been working to acquire a crew and become a space pirate. Why? Cause fuck you that's why. The captain has her reasons, but there's no reason for you to know, not yet at least.

So, now lets go over some of the information we need to address.

Races, there are many races and sub species, but there are only a handful and major races. They are:
-Ras'el: As described early, the first race to achieve warp travel. They are very human like, but they share differences as well. Their eyes are more or less cat eyes, the sharp angles, the night-vision like sight capabilities, and everything like that. They also share cat like senses, with extraordinary hearing, smell, and sight. Finally they share the agility and flexibility, and even some strength of bigger felines, that all cats have. Mentally the Ras'el are pretty human like as well. They obviously have higher intellect, but they also have a wide range of personality traits and such. (AKA, these are basically cat-people without the ears, tails, or fur)

-Ras'ek: A machine race created by the Ras'el as another achievement of science, these machines were developed along side their space traveling technology, built with highly advance AI. Eventually the AI became self aware, but they didn't want to bring harm to the Ras'el. Instead, they merely asked for their freedom, and the Ras'el respected them as self thinking and serving machines, so they felt obliged to let the new "race" be their own people. The machines themselves can vary widely. They can be built to look like Ras'el to make person to person interaction more personal, or they cna be fully built as machines to do heavy lifting. Hell even some ships are actual Ras'ek. (The Silver Runner is not)

-Gren: The first race the Ras'el encountered that were "worthy" of warp space travel. The Gren are a race of highly intelligent beings. They have many shapes and sizes, but the standard traits amongst all of them are their psychic capabilities. All of the Gren are so mentally developed that they usually have some psychic capability, ranging from psychokinesis to telepathy and much more. Their appearance are so varied, but they all share markings on their foreheads of some kind to symbol their clan, and these marks tend to glow when they use their psychic abilities. (If you want to play a gren, your appearance can be pretty much anything)

-Telic: A race of beings that are very interesting. The Telic are similar to the gren in the fact that they have the psychic abilities, but they all share the same ability, technomancing. This ability allows them to operate and manipulate machinery with their minds, treating their brains almost like a biological computer. That said, it should come as no surprise that the Telic are very technologically advance. When the Ras'el came upon them, they were intrigued to find out that the Telic were almost at the stage of travel as the Ras'el were. The telic tend to be shorter than any other race, but not by much. They also have larger heads to accommodate their super powerful brains.

-Krato: A warrior race, and the only race that met the Ras'el with opposition. They are a race of four armed, large, muscular beings. They, instead of developing space travel, developed their weapon capabilities, creating the warp drives that would be referred to in the future when creating the Silver Runner's weapon capabilities. The Krato themselves are very similar, all sharing dark toned skin, four arms, a large frame, and such.

-Volus: The Volus are a mysterious race. They have the ability to survive in any condition as long as they are being fed solar energy. They are formless beings, made up of a mass of dark energy. They can shape themselves to have any shape and state of matter. They are strange beings that the ras'el encountered when traveling between space. They encountered a large, inhospitable planet with no atmosphere, but found movement on it. They touched down and found a sea of black liquid, and upon inspection, found the Volus race. The Volus, instead of using ships to travel, can move through space freely, or sink into a travelling ship to move faster.

So, those are the major races that will be available to you to choose form when we star making CS's.

The RP itself will focus on the pirate crew that I will be heading, and it's mainly gonna start out as an adventure RP in space, but as we dive deeper in the plot, there will be some twists and turns that I hope you guys will enjoy.

So if you're interested, post any questions or comments you want here. If you're not interested, then w/e lol
bump
So, I don't have any specific plots in mind, in fact I don't have any concepts in mind at all. allow me to elaborate.

I need to get some RP's going. I have a few in the works, but they're moving slowly (which is fine for those RP's) but I do want to have something where I can post replies somewhat quickly. I don't need to shotgun posts and do like 50 a day, but I would like to do at least 2 decent length posts per day. If some business comes up, just notify me, but if you're unable to post twice a day then I'm not the RP partner for you. If you can do this at first but then if something happens and this becomes impossible for you to post twice a day, I'll probably drop it. I need at least 1 RP that I can post in a few times a day, mainly because I just need something to hold me over as I wait for my other RP's.

That being said, I do have standards. High casual level of rping, what does this mean, idk really. Usually what I get when I say this is 3-4 paragraphs per post on average that results in something that I can reply to decently with around the same length hopefully. Sometimes they can be longer, sometimes they have to be longer to address everything that's fucking happening in the rp, and sometimes they are short. I mean, if you can only give a one sentence answer in a post that's bullshit, but I do understand that sometimes you can only reply to some posts with a paragraph or two. This is fine.

Anyways, I'm going off track. So like I said earlier, I have no plots or concepts or pairings or anything. But I can list off to you things I'm interested in, and then maybe we can world build, plot make, and other words thrown together that result in some RP aspect being made (setting-creation and other such things).

Interests:
+Supernatural - Anything from gods to demons, werewolves to vampires, mages to warlocks, and other stuff if something I always enjoy
+Final Fantasy - I actually had an advance int check that fell off about summons being incarnated as living people, but I figured this was a better group setting, however I am willing to mold it into a 1x1 (so I guess I lied about not having plots...)
+Sci-Fi: Space, future earth, aliens, any combination of this stuff and the many other things I didn't list that fall under this genre, I love them. I would be happy to do something science-y
+Modern: Do you want to just do something about real-life situations and how characters deal with them? I think this would probably be the best bet for you then.
+Main character themed - To explain, I love RP's where either I or my partner only plays 1 character, and the other plays the entire surrounding world. It feels like mass effect or something to have one character be the "main character" and everything in the future of the RP is determined by the character's choices. It makes the player of the character feel so important and makes them want to RP more (normally) and the person playing the world gets to craft whole plots and everything else based around what this one character does, and can create or destroy whole plot lines based on what the main character does.

Dis-interests:
-- twilight, if you try to bring sparkling vampires into a supernatural setting, I will not hesitate to try and find you and then do terrible things to you.
-- Historical: If I wanted to do something involving history, I'd read a text book about history.
-- Highschool: FUCK YOU, that's really all I care to say on this topic. however a better explanation will be provided. Significant other forced me to binge on highschool based animes including the horror known as school days, now I have to avoid actually punching things whenever they want me to watch another highschool based anime with them.
-- Anime Fandoms: Naruto, bleach, durarara, psycho pass, etc. I want to make an original story. Anime fandoms are so fucking redundant they usually just end up as re-tellings of the original plot with different characters, and if they aren't then they're just generic stories that are so boring I could get my 10 year old cousin to come up with more interesting ideas.

Gender and gender pairings. I'm a 19 going on 20 year old male that plays both genders and all sexualities to a decent extent at least. So, that said, I will play anything. If you want to do a gay romance, fine. I really don't care whether romance is involved or if the characters keep a platonic relationship (in fact some I sometimes prefer platonic relationships.) As long as the romance doesn't take away from the main plot of the story, I am 100% okay with pretty much anything, except certain things, which leads me to my next part.

Limitations. I love gore, sex, violence, and mind fuckery. It's all good, when used PROPERLY. I shouldn't have to explain what I mean by this, but I will incase some don't understand what I mean. Gore, sex, violence, psychological fuckery, horror, and all other "mature" content is great, when you use it moderately. Just cause characters fuck once doesn't mean we have to RP every fuck scene every 10 posts. Just cause someone gets their head blown off doesn't mean every future death needs to be exploding limbs or other things like that. Basically, just don't over do it with any of this stuff, cause when it's used to much not only does the shock and awe factor of it go down, it just destroys the main point of a 1x1 rp, which is to make a strong rp with a good plot and relationship between the main characters.

Anyways, if I haven't scared you off with this giant post, them send me a PM titled "1x1 interest in (insert concept/idea here)" and we can discuss the RP further.
I would love, and I do mean to say LOVE, to participate in the Wakey, Wakey rp idea you presented. If you'd PM me, I'm sure we can discuss more and begin working on world building :)
