Alright guys, big announcement.
So, Ryver will be accepted into this RP for a different role. Instead of being a field agent, she will be playing a more "intelligence agent" character. She'll basically be a character involved with interactions and non-combat oriented segments of the RP for the most part. She's being given this automatic spot because I'm having her co-gm this rp with me. We're gonna work together on plot ideas and such.
Don't worry, her getting this spot will not take away from the other spots for everyone else. There are still 4 open positions that everyone can apply for, it's just ryver will be working as my "assistant" of sorts for the RP and have a character to help us build scenarios and such. So, everyone enjoy and look forward to some awesome stories.

So I reviewed all of the CS's that have been turned in, and I think I might close down the application after panda and the combat mage have been posted.
To comment on cow and ryver
@Cow: I find the character to be interesting, the only problem is that the whole royalty thing, we have two "royalty that don't want to be leader" type of characters with yours and the elf one, so that makes it difficult for me. Still, overall, a very nice CS and I'm happy that you posted, even if you don't feel confident in yourself, it's awesome :).
@Ryver: This character gives me the feeling of the genie, but at the opposite end of that spectrum. While the djinn is stuck there, she doesn't mind working there and is willing to help. For the hunter though, this character is essentially waiting for a way out of the peace keepers and to fight them back. He's force there, but wants out unlike the djinn, so it's an interesting dynamic.
Overall, everyone has churned out awesome CS's and again, I hate all of you for making my life more difficult.

Lol still I do have some ideas and would hope we get at least another male applicant and then I hope everyone after that sucks so I don't have to make any hard decisions.

Well, I'm almost regretting I didn't make this first come first serve cause if this quality of CS keeps coming along I'm gonna have a real hard time deciding who to have join lol.

Alright, so here it is, the OOC for Peace Keepers. Instead of just copying and pasting everything, I actually have a more detailed explanation of the plot and setting for this world and RP.
As I explained before, this RP will be taking place in an alternate reality of our world. It's modern day, with about the same amount of technology and human advancement, but the only difference between our world and this alternate one is that the existence of supernatural beings has been public knowledge for about half a century now. With the knowledge of monsters and magic being a very real existence and possible threat, the world at first united in arms against these beings, but quickly realized that it was futile, a large part in thanks to the intervention of ancient beings that have existed along side men since the dawn of human civilization. With these "elders" as the humans dubbed them, the UN created a new branch within their organization known as the 'Peace keepers" a sort of world police for supernatural crime and terrorist activity, headed of course by one of the elders and several politically powerful humans.
For our story, we will find ourselves placed among the mecca of the western world, a melting pot of culture and ideals meeting with crime and evil. I'm talking about, of course, New York City. This is a vast area, which is being handled by the Peace Keepers as a "hot zone" of sorts. Being that it's so large, it makes sense that there would be a large population of supernatural beings, so it is of course under closer supervision of the Peace Keepers than most other areas.
For this RP, we will be assuming the roles of characters within one of the several squads that are in charge of supervising and protecting the area of NYC, more specifically Manhattan.
So, with this is mind, lets dive into the next fun part of an OOC, the characters.

I have created a character template for you guys to use. Now, I don't want you guys to over-saturate your CS with information. In fact, I find the less, the better, for several reasons. A lot of the time people will say their character is one way, yet without giving a legitimate reason, like an event that changes the character, they'll just up and change the character. With a less fleshed out CS, we can get a feel for your character by letting you develop them throughout the rp. The other major reason is I just hate huge CS's. It makes reviewing them hard when I have to read about every little thing your character does or has done and it's not fun for me.
Anyways, with that out of the way, I'll also introduce my own character.
Name: Mia Feral
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Race: Human/Werewolf (This will be explained)
-Mia has the ability to shift into a wolf or any stage of wolf/human forms at will.
-In her human form, Mia has increased physical capabilities, senses and slow regeneration. The more transformed she is, the more magnified these aspects become.
Job/Skills: Trained in several forms of martial arts and experienced with multiple firearms and melee weapons. She is also versed in weak binding magic (basically she can create magic handcuffs and chains)
Items: In the picture, she holds two fist weapons. For the most part, she will always have these on her person including a handgun. Other items vary based on the mission at hand.
Personality: Mia is cold, but not in the sense of being unapproachable. Instead, she is very kind, or appears to be. For those that know her, while she might express an outward warmth and happiness that others could find comfort in, there is a sense of distance. She has always been this way, due to her lack of memory, but she tries and make others feel as comfortable as possible around her, and she does care for her allies, it's just that she is holding back from getting completely involved with others.
Years in the Peacekeepers: Mia has served for 6 years in the Peace Keepers, making her the most senior officer on the team at this point in time.
Why you joined: Mia only knows very little about herself due to being an amnesiac. She was found at the age of 16 in a science lab that was performing illegal experiments on humans and supernatural beings alike, mainly werewolves. The objective was to create a being that could harness the powers of a werewolf, but not succumb to heightened beast like state of the moon cycle. The result of that was Mia, a girl who lost her memories. She has a werewolf's heart instead of a human one, and that has allowed her the physical capabilities that should only fall to pure blooded werewolves. So, with no memory of her past life, she was taken in by the Peace Keepers and raised to become a strong officer.
Personal Arc: Mia lacks a sense of identity. She has crafted a life for herself amongst the Peace Keepers, but within the very back of her mind lies the thought of "who am i?" Mia's personal arc would resolve this, leading her, and through association her squad, on a journey that would end up revealing who she was, and how this would change her.
So, I got everything set, and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with.
