Would using a Thri-Kreen from Dungeons and Dragons as a race be valid? Like have them as a rare race. I think they'd fit relatively or if someone knows the equivalent of one that'd be great.

Where do we go first?" the tears had stopped, now there was a confident young man standing there. The confidence even he didn't know he had was there, he was ready to prove he wasn't anything wrong and definitely one of the group. "I think we all know what we're getting into and we know what your machines can do now, I think it's time we know what we hit first. Actually... there's another question how are we all gonna move? I've got my ride, the others need a quick transport vehicle or Pokemon as well."

Suddenly awaking from his slumber upon the CSO Vampire Blargunson the Third panicked and fell back into an Escape Pod. A passing Grunt (I bet you it was that jerk Phillup) noticed the Priest laying in the pod, and decided to hit the Eject button.
"This'll be a long blurggin flight." Blargunson muttered to himself... at least he kept a TV in the pod. "I wonder what's on," clicking on the TV a series created by these people "RoosterTeeth" about the red people and these blue people who apparently disliked each other lived in the same gulf came on. "Nothing much better to do, besides the holy texts of the Food Nipple, or preferably the Prophets..."
